Vuitton here with a round up of those who rocked the red carpet at the 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards, and others who may be firing their stylists soon.
First up are Nicole Ari Parker and hubby Boris Kodjoe …
Nicole looks stunning in her soft pink and black lace gown with a seductive slit up the side and cute peep-toe black satin pumps. Boris looks rather dapper in his black suit and tie, the staple for men on a red carpet. Wish he wore a pocket-piece, but the couple still looks hot!
Next up is Kim Kardashian, who doesn’t miss a red carpet event…
*Swoon* The reality starlet looks absolutely stunning in this Marchesa Resort gown. Definitely a much needed break from her curve-hugging predilection, Kim has the Greek gods lauding her. She dazzled in a Lorraine Schwartz cuff to complete her hot ensemble.
Eva Longoria-Parker also sauntered down the red carpet…
The actress wore a black Robert Rodriguez strapless gown with a train and accessorized with red chandelier earrings. While I don’t absolutely die over this look, she gets a B+ for effort. I guess it’s just my bias toward anything other than black on a red carpet.
“Glee” star Amber Riley also made her way down the carpet for her first Emmy’s…
She also took the Grecian goddess route and ran with it in the right direction. I especially love the jeweled belt at the waist. The makeup and hair are also en pointe. Hot!
Co-star Naya Rivera hit up the red carpet as well…
And it’s such a pity that on her first Emmy red carpet she didn’t look as great as she could have. Hmm… this iridescent emerald travesty does nothing to complement her skin tone. And the volume at the bottom and slit at the side just scream bad prom dress. All that’s missing is a tiara, sash, and scepter. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for you, Naya!
And last, but not least, for all you True Blood fans out there…
Not what you would’ve expected, huh? Anna Paquin knocked it out of the park with her Alexander McQueen number. The moment I saw her, my mouth dropped to the floor in awe. H-O-T! If there was ever a time to reference the breastplate of righteousness, the gold embellished bust of the dress would be that time. Definitely the most daring and “outside the box” look of the evening, but Anna pulled it off stupendously. My fave of the night!
