So Emily B was kind enough to let me try out a pair of Lyndy Suede Booties from her shoe line, so I decided to take them down to South Beach to give ’em a whirl!
For a day out in the Miami heat, I went with all white, including a Terry Winston Embossed Croc Tee and a Victoria’s Secret Pencil Skirt. I picked up on the shoe’s gold accents with fingers full of gold rings, a gold cuff, and my favorite Carbon Showroom clear/gold clutch.
Emily B’s shoes are cute and comfortable–and I want you to try a pair!
So we’re going to be giving away two pairs of Lyndy booties–one black and one brown (as I’m wearing).
To win, leave a comment telling me which color you like and how you’d style them.
Bonus points if you leave a comment anywhere on my new personal style/lifestyle site TheBombLife.com. Comment on absolutely anything! Just keep it cute (and relevant to the article).
I’ll choose a winner based on comments and participation, and will decide by Monday.
Good luck!
*Don’t want to rock with our contest? You can get a pair of your own in black for $279 at ShopAkira.com, in brown at ShopGarbBoutique, or in either color for $275 at ShopFyJane.
*See how Emily rocked ’em in black below:
Yesterday’s Bombshell also has a pair.
Cute!
I would take the nude and pair with a coral shirt dress. They would make the shoes pop along with a good tan or bronzer
I would like a brown pair. I would style them with a full on denim ensemble, letting the shoes make the statement. And tie it all together with a fur collar.
I love the black or nuede. I would style with a skinny leather pant or a midi skirt and a silk blouse with my fur vests to top it off. I have a black and dark grey/nuede fur vest that would slay the ensemble accompanied by either pair. Btw you are fabulous honey, I enjoy your post and Angelique, the bombshell above, is representing my hometown… Memphis!!!
I would love the black pair! I would keep it classic and style it with a simple white button down and slim fitting black pants, but definitely pile on the accessories to spruce it up. If I win a pair, I’ll send in a “How Do You Wear it”!
I would wear them nude pair with some distressed boyfriend jeans, a fitted white tee, and a tartan blazer. Lots of bold gold jewelry and a topknot to finish off the perfect look.
I would like the black pair. I’d rock it with a leather midi pencil skirt and a long sleeved crop top. I’d wear layered necklaces to play up the details in the shoe.
I love love Emily Bs Booties. They are so elegant and screams class. Her taste is greatness. I would wear the brown ones with an asymmetrical white skort which they both will compliment eachother so well along with a fitted white blazer and a cream or tan silk cami.

These shoes are absolutely fabulous in both colors! I would pair the Nude shoes with a pair of skinny dark blue jeans and a white fitted tee. Keep it simple and cute along with a Nude color leather jacket. The black pair all white and let the black stand out with the shoe.
I would love a pair of the black suede booties. I think black will always being a classic color so I would pair the booties with my black Dolce Vita puff sleeve dress. I would finish the ensemble off by wearing my camel long overcoat since it is a bit cold.
I would pair it with all white!!
really simpe. A white v neck t shirt pair with a white jean pant (skinny jean)! i would rock both items with the tan pair of emily B’s!
I would wear the black pair of Emily B’s shoes with a creme pencil skirt that has a long gold zipper on the back like one of LaLa’s 5thand Mercer skirts then I would were a crop top that has the shades of brown creme and black with a vertical long zipper that is gold on the front
I would pair them with some boyfriend overalls, crisp white tee, and a neon clutch.
The shoes are perfect for a tomboy chic look.
I like both, but would totally slay with the black ones.
I would love the black pair! I’ve loved these shoes since I first seen them early December! I would style them with a black leather skater skirt, sheer black and gold chain print inspired Versace blouse, a black snake print clutch, underneath the blouse a beautiful satin black bra and a black oversized wool coat because it’s cold out here in West Virginia! Of course my jewelry would be have to be my gold studs, a simple gold tennis bracelet and my engagement ring and my grandmother’s gold diamond wedding ring she gave me. Those shoes inspire me! There are more than just a couple outfits I could style them with!
“be” a classic color
I would love the taupe pair. I’m a sucker for edgy yet classic pieces to put together a fab outfit so here is my idea of a dope outfit for Ms Emily B’s booties:
Camo boyfriend skinny jeans
Denim fitted shirt tucked in
and those fab boots
Chunky bangles and my signature hoops
I would love a pair of the Lyndy boots in black! I would style them with black leather pants, a furry white oversized cashmere sweater and a dark brown floppy hat. My birthday is Sunday and this would be an awesome gift!
I’m in LUVE (love & lust) with the nude Lyndy Suede Bootie by Emily B. From top to bottom, I would pair them with a navy blue, long sleeve, mid-thigh – smock dress. I’d love the focus to be primarily on the shoes, but would have to conclude it with a floral clutch. Simplicity!
Def black! and I will dress them with some zara ankle slacks. Gosh i have been eyeing these for a while!
I would love the brown ones. I would pair them with an electric pink midi dress and a dark brown fur vest.
Yup. You can hand me those beautiful nude ones riiigghhhtt over here! I absolutely would pair these bad boys with ripped boyfriend jeans, an oversized over the shoulder white t-shirt, a baseball cap, tinted aviators, a black leather jacket and call it a day. You know, I don’t want to look like I’m trying to hard *YEA RIGHT* LOL
I would pair the brown lyndy booties with distressed light wash denim jeans, a sheer white top, oversized tan coat, and a gold chunky bracelet and watch. As for a hand bag I would wear a gold evenlope clutch.
The nude pair is killah! I can already see myself rockin them With my favorite printed shift dress. Keep it simple and chic.
I would like to win the brown. Since we’re transitioning to a new season the brown would be a better color to transition from winter to spring. I would rock them by wearing a pencil skirt, chiffon white shirt, and a nice creme blazer to take me from work to a night out in town. Also, compliment the outfit with gold accessories to match the gold accent on the shoe.
Oooh, I love these, and I’d wear both colors, but if I were forced to choose, I like the nude! Hmmm, style wise I would wear them with some cuffed distressed boyfriend jeans, a simple white cotton crew neck tee, accented with a gold chunky link chain and watch. My makeup would be a light face with a pretty pink blush and neutral lip, and my hair would be in a high topknot. Sporty chic! You look fab by the way, I love that croc tee!
just posting again because my email had a typo :/
Love love love how you paired the brown pair. I would definitely rock the brown with all white as well with maybe a white leather jean and a white button up with all gold accessories. Classic pairing Claire! Chic and Simple.
I would keep it simple with some ankle jeans , a v neck and a black blazer ! The black ones would be perfect ! Simple but stylish ! Show the shoes of !

Hello Claire,
I prefer the black pair. The styling options are endless! A great bootie can be paired with almost anything. I would pair them with high-waist leather/cotton culotte shorts, a fitted crew neck striped blouse, a neon bib style statement necklace, with a leopard print clutch, and minimal arm candy (watch & a few bangles). Thank you for considering my input and entry.
I would love to wear the beige ones with a gold short romper. lucite clutch and chunky gold bib. I love gold, white and beige.
I would pair the black shoes with a yellow fitted, sweet heart neckline, sleeveless, knee lenght dress. Pair that with a black statment necklace that accentuates the bustline, a black wrist cuff, with a simple bun (like you have in your pic) and a gold stud earring. Minimal makeup (maybe smokey eyes) with a little blush.
OMG! Claire you look gorgeous!!! The all white compliments you.
I love both colors but would definitely want the black. I pepped them on the bombshell article from the other day. She rocked them.
I would like to rock them too!!! I think I want to try these babies out with LBD and go from there. Styling options are limitless… Please pick me!!!
I would love to wear these shoes in nude with light blue boyfriend jeans and a gorgeous detailed crisp white button down shirt and wear gold jewelry to accent the shoes! they are too beautiful to be disguised! Second outfit would definitely be a play on nudes with a pencil skirt and cropped top! Simple yet stylish!
I would love the brown pair. I would wear them with some distressed jeans shorts, a fitted v-neck white t-shirt and a oversized white blazer. I would wear gold accessories to bring out the gold I’m the shoe and top it off with a nice clutch.
I love Emily B’s new shoe line, if I had it I would purchase every pair. I love shoes & the nude pair would be fit perfectly with some of my new outfits. I just recently discovered my style & want type of clothes look good on me. So I went out & bought some new clothes & those nude booties would look lovely with my new outfits. I would style them with some black snake skin pants & a white/grey snake skin print blouse with orange trim around the collar & wrist.
I would love the Nude pair! I recently purchased a white summer dress that I would wear with my NYX chaos color lipstick and poetic justice braids.
I would like to win the brown pair. Since we’re transitioning from winter to spring I believe the brown would compliment the season. I would rock these shoes with a nice pencil skirt, chiffon white shirt, and a creme blazer to take me from work to a night out in town. Also, I would accessorize with minimal gold accessories to accent the shoe. :)
I would wear the nude pair. Match it with a pair of Zara cigarette pants. The pants are printed with a solar eclipse theme. Colors are purple, navy, creme and brown. I’d wear a white button up tucked in the pants. Shirt would be unbuttoned to about the 3rd button. I would wear a tan slim belt. (My apologies, I posted my comment incorrectly the first time)
Oh and you are looking divine! Man black people and the color white is so gorgeous! Serving vanilla icecream goodness!!
I have skinny ankles and calves and find that shoes with straps take away from the olive oilness of my legs!
I would wear the black pair (with insoles!) to teach (the fashion students LOVE when I wear amazing shoes).
I would pair them with a pair of 5 year old L.A.M.B. ankle length black pants with a gold side stripe, my black and white stripe v-neck tee, and my navy nautical vintage blazer (I lpve mixing navy with black and white)- my “french” version of nautical. And my versace lion head necklace…
I would style the brown pair with a leopard top and a teal skirt. I’d top it with some gold jewelry, nude lips and bronzer :)

I absolutely love these shoes! I would pair it would distressed jeans with a c cut on the knee, that are slip a little on the lower ankle, a fitted solid t-shirt, a boyfriend blazer, and a turban/headband to add a pop of color. For accessories, I would wear a gold finger ring set and cuban linked drop/hoop earrings to make the chains on the shoes! #SoChic #SoCity #CityStyle #CityLifestyle #StaceyNTheCity

To keep a long story short. I found a little boutique in Scranton, PA that has a sale ONCE a year. I bought the cutest white/beige/coral-y pink shift dress there for $20 ( original price $180). The nude Emily B booties would totally make this dress into an outfit !
I am a at home mom. My family and I were displaced due to a fire. As a result we lost everything and are starting from scratch. I would love the nude pair. They would be perfect for the spring. I love them because they can be dressed up or down! Since my life has drastically changed I haven’t had any “me time”. I have been too busy running around taking care of my family, trying to rebuild and get us out of the shelter. When I’m not running around I’m in the hospital (I have sickle Cell disease). I recently just recovered from a coma and severe organ damage. Having these fabulous shoes would give me the perfect excuse to take a time out and have a night out!
I LOVE the nude booties!!! I would pair them with a boyfriend skinny jean, denim top, and brown faux fur vest. Of course the shoe would be my main accessory so I’d simply add a nice arm candy consisting of a watch and some bracelets and a nice lip color. *Hint* one of your top 5 suggested lip colors would work mentioned on thebomblife blog!
I like the brown pair. I would style them with an Ankara pencil skirt and a denim blouse. Top this off with coral jewelry , a brown smokey eye and nude lipstick.
You Look great, I’ve been salivating for one of those Terry Winston tees. Hmmm, I like both colors but I choose the nude. My style would be simple and chic, cuffed distressed boyfriend jean, a white cotton crew neck tee, with a chunky gold link chain, and watch. Make up neutral, with a high bun ponytail.
I would style the Black Lyndy Booties
with a pair of leather jogger pants a long sleeve crop top and a gold body chain to compliment the gold on the shoe
