Hey Guys!
The team at Glamour Paris recently contacted me about my favorite American spots in Paris. Voila le résultat!

Très chic.
Smootches!
PS If you don’t read French, allow me to introduce you to my little friend, Google Translate.
So I’m back in the States! But of course I couldn’t step foot on American soil without a little fabulosity:)
After getting off an almost 9 hour flight from Paris, clearing customs, and finding my bags, I looked up to see singer Trey Songz.
I hesitated HARD on talking to him or taking his pic cuz, well, I was looking très crazay.
Delirious with the time change, hair all sideways after the rain in Paris, jewelry gone after going through security…let’s just say it wasn’t my brightest moment, ok?? I’m glad, though, that I had the foresight to switch out my glasses for contacts a few moments before (and freshen up my lipstick):
Trey was sweet and got someone in his entourage to take a pic. I recounted the tale on Twitter just as it happened, so maybe Trey is looking at the F Bomb today? Hope so!
I told my mom I’d just met Trey Songz and she was like, “WHO??”
If you don’t know who he is, ya better ask…well, me. Ha.
Here are a few of my fave Trey Songz. Enjoy!
So today, in between showing my sister around all the touristy places in Paris, I met up with stylist extraordinaire Robert Verdi who’s in town with a few of his fabulous friends:
From Left: Robert, Jewelry Designer Luis Morais (www.luismorais.com), Moi, Robert Verdi.
We hung out on Avenue Montaigne, and I tagged along as they popped into Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Céline. We finished our fun day with a yummy lunch at L’Avenue (it’s a must stop if you’re ever in Paris).
It was super fun to hear about his newest projects, including his TV show on the Logo network and his cameos on Bravo’s Bethenny’s Getting Married.
If you don’t know about Robert, check out his website at www.robertverdi.com.
He is FABULOUS!!
Smootches!
PS Robert’s friend Luis Morais makes fantastic jewelry. He was rocking these droolworthy rings and I wanted to snatch them right off his fingers!

So if you follow me on Twitter, you’d know that Haute Couture Fashion Week started yesterday in Paris!
I’ve been keeping busy, and went to my first two haute couture shows yesterday, Georges Chakra and Alexandre Vauthier (who we wrote about here). It’s invigorating and awe inspiring to see some of the world’s finest fashion creations displayed right before your eyes. I’m having a great time.
In addition to spying models off duty (see Ajak and Frida above), I’ve also been hanging out with some of my favorite street style bloggers…
I also picked up a little freelance gig, taking street style and writing news articles for Paris Vogue’s website, Vogue.fr:
Yesss, it’s a dream come true to be working for the fashion bible in the fashion capital of the world! When I first moved here, I had no idea what opportunities would come my way. I’m so blessed to have ended up in the right place!
At any rate, keep track of me of course on Twitter and also check out my work on Vogue.fr. Star it, like it, send it to your friends:)
Hey Guys !
So it’s men’s fashion week in Paris, and though we really don’t cover menswear, I found myself at the Louis Vuitton show today in the 19th arrondissement. I was just chillin, chillin, minding my business, when I saw Pharrell walk in!!
Y’all.
I love me some Pharrell. Love, love, LOVE!!! So of course I had to say wassup.
He shook my hand and told me I had nice skin. I snapped a couple twitpics, took a pic of him with my very well dressed friends from the blog Montaigne Street, then jumped in one myself.
I almost died.
He was there with Lupe Fiasco, who was super cool as well. Lupe said he didn’t really read blogs, but took my card and said he would check us out.
Ah…that’s enough excitement for one day! I might go out to a party tonight…at any rate, follow me on Twitter for the blow by blow!
More pix and scoops to come:)
I was drooling over Mboko’s skinny tie, cuffed pants, cool specs, and patent leather mocassins. And Fatou is lovely. Loved her hairstyle, her metallic lamé jumpsuit, and blue mani.
What do you think?
Stay tuned for more dispatches from Paris!
