    I wore tights and tweed shorts for the first time last weekend. I’ve been wanting to try it since last year, but hey. Im going use the third look as inspiration this weekend.

  14. @Lala @A and @justme I can tell you’re the same person, you have the same IP address. Negative commentary is not what this feature is about, it’s about showcasing the style of people across the nation and across the globe. We represent a diversity of style, from classy and covered up to saucy to super chic.
    We receive tons of entries, and I handpick the best of the bunch. Believe it or not, there are a lot that *don’t* make the blog. As I said before (and I”ll say it again), if someone doesn’t agree with the quality of the Bombshells, send in your picture! I’d be happy to feature you. If not, please try to keep everything positive and constructive.

  19. claire, me and lala are friends not the same person. we log on to the site daily to view your bombshells as well as other articles. People leave opinions daily positive/negative. They went in on the young lady yesterday and I didnt see this post then… but comment noted and you have a great weekend as well

  22. @A I appreciate your comments and your enthusiasm for Bombshells. The comment was directed at you, but it was really for everyone who might leave less than nice comments. Just a request to keep things positive.
    People did go in on the young lady yesterday, but I was running around so couldn’t moderate…and it would get tiring writing the same ‘cease and desist’ message everyday, as it seems the same thing happens for almost every Bombshell.
    At any rate, everyone: please be nice.

  23. good afternoon claire..i do know A but i do not know justme ,,this is my personal opinion and your starting to get upset i see ,,for no reason,,you put this blog up here clearly for people to comment on there style…and thats all we’re doing,,we’re not be disrespectful and we’re not calling anyone names ,,now that we have something to say to you your upset dont be upset ..clearly we like the site or we would not log on to it every day ,,i think we should be able to say what we like if its good or bad..my momma told me never to lie so im not going to start now..so if this is the best photo that was submitted for today ,,then i could imagine what the others look like ,,omg,,

If you disagree so much start your own fashion blog of the best of what you think is fashionable. No one is forcing you to log on here daily! It’s time to put up or shut up!

  26. @ janay if i said something negative then it must have required me to say something negative,,oh well.. i can say what i want,,there have been many fashionbombers that i commented on that where very stylish and i left nice things to say ,,,so if i dont like the fashionbomber for that day i can say so,, how ever i want to word it ,,,janay you should be commenting on the photo not my comment ,, and i dont need to send in my photo for people to say yah or nah ,,there are those who send in there photos and those who comment ,,im commenting like everyone else…leave me alone ,,so guess what ,,if tomorrow claire post someone and i dont like it im going to say so ..maybe i should change my name from lala to ms negative,,

  27. I find it hilarious that Lala is playing the rolls of 3 people daily just to offer negative criticisim she clearly needs to get a life! Who has time to do this stuff? Lol I mean really!!! As I stated LaLa is not A, we’re friends… i’m goin to leave this comment n i’m gone for the day… My comments are my comments… I directed it at Claire she responded end of story!!!! u r the one that should maybe get a life comment on the photo and not other comments made especially if they dont apply to you. To recap…I commented on the photo, to make it clear… pretty girl not a fan of her style. i made a comment to claire she responded… you made a comment to my people which you clearly didnt read my comment that we’re friends so I responded to you… Now you ladies have a great weekend…. deuces

    IMO (that needs to be said, lest I be e-jumped), everything looks the same…it looks very much like London but I’m sure she will have fans. But its a uniform, no? Tights, cardis, + brogues…did I miss something?

    That ethnic print tubey/bustier is a definite bright spot. And those hair bows. Everything else makes me think of rainy, dreary, London. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with that if thats what you like!

  35. I love her style, I think whats making it all look the same is her color palette. Black and Navy speaks to that “dreary London feeling” DyShaun wrote about. But overall I think it’s super cute!

    I love this site, I just wish the Fashion Bomb feature didn’t bring out the ratchet in some people : /

I think that people have the right to express constructive criticism… But throwing shade (example: judging Claire’s sanity for her choices in Bombshells, suggesting someone is on drugs, etc.) is the polar opposite of constructive criticism and is just mean. It takes a lot of self love and acceptance to submit photographs to this site and whether or not I like the fashion choices of those selected… I applaud and admire their confidence.

    That said… I happen to like her style. Not everyone goes clubbing 24/7 and we should have style choices that reflect that… Her look is a great example of stylish, casual, and suitable for everyday.

  49. I think Onyxsta was a great pick for bombshell of the week!! I mean its her personal style which is chic btw, but its called personal style for a reason and it may not fit all of us but it suits this beautiful lady well. My momma taught me if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing. No one said you HAVE to leave a comment.

  54. Her style is nice but average here in West-Europe. But London is still where the REAL fashion is (and Milan,Japan).
    Not the too much for the eyes and too much for the brain to figure out what is going on with the outfits. Mostly with way too many accessories and too much make-up what the Amerians are wearing.

    Why do you think 90% off the celebrities have West-European brands on or are in West-Europe style.
    Because America is always four or more seaons behind West-Europe.
    And that is a fact !!!!!!!!

  56. I use to love fashion bombshell of the day but no so much because some of these comments do get out of hand and just unnecessary mean for no reason. Everybody has their own take on what is fashion and what is not, so that doesn’t make your definition of what qualities as fashion more correct then others, some people do need to hop off of it. There is a difference between criticism and being rude. I would love to see how some of these people look daily

    But I think Onyxsta looks very cute and chic, her style fits her and she is working it!

    Anyways, She wears a lot of dark colors, which I guess is kinda understandable cuz of the season, but at the same time, super boring!

  64. ONYXSTA?..What a pretty name!..Her style is cute…rather dark to me…but i think that’s London…i’m a fan of bright colors…I love her choice of clothing tho..esp blazers/jackets…Now i have ideas for this fall 2011….GO GIRL!

    SN: There is nothing wrong with criticism..We are all different kinds of ppl with different likes/dislikes..I’m pretty sure when ppl submitted their pics they didnt expect to be liked by everyone!…A, Lala, and whoever..just keep it to a minimum is all I say!
