Hey Guys!
Today Fashion Bomber Sharif from New Jersey sent in a few pictures displaying his style:

He says, “To some people Fashion is a hobby, to others it’s just a career, to me it’s an Obsession.”

“… Everything around me inspires me what I wear. The music, the weather, my mood. It’s about waking up every morning and taking that dare to put on something that would make someone give you that double look when you walk out the door.”

“…To me it’s not about having one particular style but being able to dress up as so many characters. People may not realize that our bodies are like canvases. So why not be an artist and paint them with your favorite fabrics and colors?”

“Yes, Fashion is about being yourself but it’s also about being creative, innovative, and loving yourself at the same time. I don’t follow the trends and what’s fresh off the runway. I just simply throw on what makes me happy.”

Great looks and awesome style philosophy!
Sharif might be the third 16-year-old from Newark, New Jersey we’ve featured in recent months. Is Newark just super fly or are you guys all in a clicque??
At any rate, what do you think of Mr. Sharif?

Fashion Bomber of the Day is a feature that showcases the singular style of male Fashion Bomb readers. Send your name, location, a description of your style, and your picture(s) to th************@gm***.com.

  2. Well I was the first from Newak NJ to be Fashion BOMB of the day.. And I’m glad i could inspire my pierce to do the same.

No we are not all in a Clicque. I wish we were becuase it would be a great way for us teen to come together and show, inspire and create What we Love!

    Yay To U Sharif……. :)

  3. No we are not a Clique; where antithetical I think that’s why were so young and decent, where not afraid to follow our own trends….

  4. Gwoorl!!! what is going on here? smh @ the model poses and MC Hammer sweat pants. I’m all for personal style but this excessive hipster anti-mainstream revolution is making me scratch my head. I just can’t, I can’t, not today child. Not today.

  5. WOW Jersey!!! I have a 16 yr old and if he even thought about leaving the house like that ….( did you wash you A** today?)) its sloppy and the prep look is definitely clean and crisp…sorry but you look like you picked these clothes off your floor and left the house SORRY…I just admire more of clean cut style.:( might i add you are a cutey too!!

  6. Lol @ Lola and excessive hipster. Everyone does seem like they’re putting in too much effort to not look like they’ve put in effort if u get what I mean.

  7. Oh yeah, keep doing you young man. It’s good to be young and have a good sense of self and be comfortable in your own skin

  8. @Lola… you can definitely say that again. i’m tired of everyone trying to look “effortless”, while actually looking like they put in WAY too much effort to be “different”… UGH!

  9. i love it—-and i don’t see this as sloppy at all. hell, most of the sixteen-year-old boys i know just throw on anything that’s clean.

go on sharif, keep being you!
(and everything he said about fashion absolutely rings true)

  10. i dont know where yall live but where I live the other kids probably clown this type of style …and im around alot of teens and i have to differ that most teenagers are not sloppy at all !!

  11. i like it. it looks like he put some thought and originality into his clothing, as opposed to my 17 year old brother who just throws on whatever isn’t on the floor.

  12. 3 words..a damn mess..How old r these pics?…1990’s?…You may need some fashion tips from kanye west!
