Happy Monday ladies and gents!
Yesterday, after wrapping our holiday staff shoot at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory (stay tuned for the pix!), I chatted with our kind host about a few of his fun ideas for holiday gifts:

From electronics to tea, from novels to nail polish, Robert has an eye for fly. Check out his suggestions for everyone on your list:

For the Do-It-All Mom, he suggests calming Tea from TeaForte.com, an Herbal Essences Shower set, and a good novel to relax in the bathtub–he likes, The Liar, The B*tch, and the Wardrobe by Allie Kingsley. Stash all your goodies in a Rugby Striped Bin from the Container Store.

He earmarked lots of Covergirl beauty products for the Glam Gal, including Blast Flipstick, Clump Crusher Mascara, and Nail Gloss. Keep your teeth white with Crest White Strips and Oral B Floss. Clean up errant spills with a Tide To Go Instant Stain Remover and accent any look with a glittery Lauren Merkin clutch.

The DIY Dad can never get enough Gillette Razors and Duracell batteries (duh!).

Furry friends also get love with Iams treats and fabulous ponchos (meow!).

Hip Holiday Hostesses can enjoy Thomas Paul Bath Mats, Dawn Dish Detergent, and an Umbra soap pump.

Have In Laws? Gift ’em the practical. Few households can ever have enough Puffs Tissues, Mr. Clean, Bounty Paper Towels, or Cascade. Wrap everything in a Jessica Cushman Rope Tote.

The Timely Techie probably doesn’t need more than a RumbaTime Perry Watch.

Gift the Techno Teen UrbanEars headphones and a BlueTooth Silicone Keyboard from Brookstone.

If you’re a jetsetter you seriously need to know about the Rise and Hang bag. So cool! Mask tired eyes with Robert Verdi sunglasses (what else?), and avoid lacing up shoes with Hickies hands free laces.

Whether you’re a Busy Boss or a Savvy Socialite, you can make use of a Parker Pen and Moleskin Notebook. Stay organized with large lacquer rectangle boxes from the Container Store, and make calls on the go with an HTC Smartphone.

And lastly, fun for the whole family: Dance Central 3 with XBox Kinect.
Quite an eclectic mix! Did anything catch your eye?

Stay tuned for The Fashion Bomb’s Holiday Gift Guide tomorrow!

  1. @Everybody Thanks! @ Anonymous This isn’t a paid advertisement, I wasn’t paid to post these. Those posts that are paid are labeled Advertisement and discloses at the bottom, “This is a Sponsored Post” says, “Brought to You Buy,” or simply includes the phrase “This is a Paid Advertisement.”
Robert Verdi is a fashion bomb friend, simple as that!

  2. I adore Robert Verdi
I am sure that photo shoot was a blast because he is a HILARIOUS
Claire, you always look fab as usual

Can’t wait to see the photo shoot.

  3. Wow, I also scrolled up and down to see the “sponsored by” flag. I am beyond surprised that the fabulous Robert Verdi is suggesting Mr. Clean and Bounty and a laundry list (literally) of other Proctor & Gamble products to the fashionista set with no benefit to him or you.

  4. Claire you look fab! Those shoes are to kill for!

I think what homey is saying is right though, I doubt anybodys in-laws would appreciate rolls of bounty and cascade completes for Christmas. I can’t picture that going over well with anybodys Mama! LOL

I do like the idea of gifting in stylish and reusable bags though.

  5. I cant even… after hollering laughing at these silly comments about paid vs. non. 0_o

Alas, Claire, your hair is beautiful.

  6. You look great, Claire. I’ll bet you smell good. I don’t mean that in a wierd way. You know how some people smell like expensive perfume when they walk by? Yeah, like that.

  7. Am I the only one that found it weird that Robert Verdi was referred to as the “hostess”? Anyhoo, some of these ideas were cute, some not so much…bounty and Mr. Clean? -_-

  8. Ok, I thought I was weird for thinking the Dawn Dish detergent was weird. Claire, you look great in red.

  9. *in tears* Claire, you have those Asteroids I’ve been adoring!!

I’m still debating with myself if I should pluck down my credit card for a pair. *bites lip*

  10. Love Robert Verdi! Some of these gifts are cute and pratical and some of them are… kind of strange I think I would just feel weird if I gave someone Dawn…I would be afraid that they would be thinking “what? b*tch don’t think I can’t wash my dishes properly…” LOL but you look good Claire

  11. Really? Toiletpaper under the Christmastree for your inlaws? Way to go for your family-relationships! No really, that was a bit strange, but the rest is ok. Would have liked to see more fashion-related items here…

  12. Again, the hair is the bees knees! I couldn’t co-sign on the braids, but love the versitility. How did you get the blonde all the way thorough, no brown spots?
    Hey Robert!

  13. I’m with homie.lover.friend. – nobody (as practical as it is) wants to unwrap a gift with Kleenex and Dawn dish detergent. I remember growing up, my Grandmother would say – don’t buy me gifts to keep me in the kitchen! Damn!

  14. I guess I’m the only one that thought the post wasn’t weird…. I mean remember it’s been very tough as of late…. No jobs, Sandy, etc etc. People are just happy to be with their families & possibly still hold up the tradition of exchanging gifts. It’s funny my family was actually thinking about doing very practical gifts like in this post. :o)
