  8. I’m not feeling her look either. She is cute no doubt, but she’s not at the level of a fashion bombshell, just my humble opinion.

  9. Sometimes she seems wrinkled and just a little frumpy. There are a few cute outfits I see on there that I like, but I think her style is normal.

  10. I like her style and think she has more variety than the bombshell from yesterday. I love her jacket with the purple dress!

  12. OFFICE CUTE! she has casual pieces that she can mix. Kinda reminds of Jcrew or bananna Republic.That absically means she can wear her clothing for years to come. I wouldn’t try the first look again.

  20. I love her style and her!!!!! She takes risks and is not afraid to step out of the normal bores of day to day fashions. Not to mention she has a great attitude and smile to go with her styling sense. U betta work girl!!!!!!!! Did I forget to mention she’s also a member of the illustrious national service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega!!!! High Fashion styling while giving back to the community gets no better than this!

  25. I swear some people commenting are some big haters. I’m pretty sure all of you guys aren’t the most stylish people on earth like some of you seem to think…smh…anyway her style is nice, and I like it.

  29. @ Esha I think the caption at the end of the pictorial was “What do you guys thinks of Shannon’s style?”, and I answered the question. Mature individuals know that most ppl have differing opinions on the same subject. I wrote nothing offensive about this woman as a person, so I do not see why my answer should offend anyone.

  30. Pretty face. I liked the cobalt shirt look but not much else and agree w/most other posters. Also agree w/Starla (graceful answer) it was “What do you guys think of Shannon’s style?” The FB put herself out there to be critiqued, some liked it some didn’t and everyone has stated their opinion w/o being crass. Do critics have to constantly be ‘jumped’ and cursed out by FB friends for negative reviews?

  32. Starla is respectfully sharing her opinion, this is a public forum. Cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

    With that being said, shes not my cup of tea. Cute girl, loving the hair cut. But each outfit seems costume-y and doesnt seem to be coming naturally. Shes almost there, but not quite.

  33. Hmm…I’m not quite feeling it. Something seems off here. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Perhaps everything is too forced and doesn’t seem effortless? Like the fuzzy vest and jumpsuit outfit. That’s way too many trends at once. Turban, fuzzy vest, statement clutch and jumpsuit. Its way too much. Then the black mini skirt and jacket outfit. She looks country to me there. The jacket is ill fitting and where did the gold heels and hat come in at? The best look was the blue shirt and khaki like pants.

  35. @ Ashley and Starla, just like you are expressing your opinions, I am expressing mine, which is that many of you seem to enjoy offering harsh instead of constructive criticism. Am I offended? Slightly because I think we as women of color shouldn’t be so quick to be nasty to each other. But that is just my opinion, which I am entitled to as you are to yours. So I repeat: Why don’t you submit some of your pics so we can all see what a fashion bombshell looks like ;-)

  37. I think her overall look is cute and fun. She definitely has some great pieces in her wardrobe and I like how she uses accessories such as the fedora, turban, and bold necklaces to punch up her looks. You can tell she is a girl who loves fashion. If you saw her on the street in one of these looks you definitely would be like, oh, she looks real cute.

  38. Maybe we need a lesson on how to offer constructive criticism without sounding like a hater:
    Hate: I dont think you’re on the level of a fashion bombshell
    Critique: Shannon you are obviously a cute girl with some nice pieces, but I think you could amp up your style by….

    Surely we can see the difference.

  39. Wow! why can’t we just accept the fact that her style is kinda cute, but it’s not the fashion bomb. At the end of the day I can walk out the house with a green polka dot shirt,mc hammer pants, and some spong bob slippers and not give two snaps and a twist what anyone of you guys think about me. When you send your pic on here you are open to whatever, even rude comments. I wear what I want, could care less if everyone thought I had bad style.Do you, and let everyone else do them.

  40. If you know fashion then you know that these pieces are cute and can be worn with lots of other pieces!!!
