  1. i bet i know what your favorite pair of shoes are ;)

not too bad though, very cute girl. congrats girl, im sure you will make a great criminal prosecutor :D

  2. I see where she is going but I don’t think she got there! She is very pretty though and I love the headband!

  3. So I like the bits and pieces of each outfit, but I don’t think I would have made the same ensemble choices. Sometimes less is more. I’m really feeling the jade color necklace in the last pic and the pink nails. I would have to agree, congrats on the career.

  4. I like her looks but there’s always something not right like in the last pic those boots and maybe the necklace. I also love that headband. My favorite look is the one with the long striped skirt(?) though I think it would be better if the blouse was buttoned up. Pretty smile!

  5. Whatever works for you!! We say there are no rules to fashion but we are quick to say how awful something is!!! Not something I would rock but do you honey. Kudos for being bold!

  6. I think she’s super pretty, I like some of the outfits, others not so much. Overall though, unique style!

  7. Oh no no no. She needs to redefine her look a.s.a.p. I can’t believe she’s in law school looking like this. And I wouldn’t take her seriously as a prosecutor with this look. She has too many trends going on at the same time. And her choice of accessories (necklaces, headgear…) isn’t helping her looks. She could benefit from removing a few items before leaving the house.

  8. I Really like her looks, i think it’s got its own flare. Unlike most of what I’ve seen. Plus, congrats on beng super-smart on top of it all!

  9. Oh, and I don’t think she would wear this into court, these looks are prob just an expression of her personal style. That should definitley be obvious to anyone who knows anything about the legal profession!

  10. I like most of her looks, although I don’t think all of them are my cup of tea. The accessories are on point though.

  11. Very pretty smile! My least favorite look is the last one, but I love that headband and bow, girl! Do you!!

  12. Thank you @Cardelle. Anyone who knows anything would know you dress to suit the occasion. You go girl!!!

  13. @Cardelle, with her being a law student, I don’t believe dressing like this to class or school related functions could be appropriate or helpful to furthering her career. And how do you know how she would dress as a prosecutor? She described her style as “conservative with a twist” and then presented a bunch of looks that aren’t good at all. If she thinks this is “conservative with a twist,” then I don’t know what she would wear in the courtroom.
I’m need y’all to back up with the “anyone who knows anything” digs. You can disagree without attempting to insult my intelligence.

  14. At Brittany L. It seems your intelligence may need to be insulted seeing as 1) You don’t know the girl, nor have you ever met her to make the conclusion about what she would wear in court AND 2) You are just way to fired up it seems about being “real.” Relax hunny, this is fashion-blog, not a bitchin blog. LOL

  15. I agree with @LOL. You can state your point of view about fashion, without being rude about matters you don’t know about. Now….Back to the Style…I like her looks, although it isnt quite my style. I wish I could be so bold in my looks. and will challenge myself in this aspect! Kudos to you!

  16. I like most of her looks. Not everyone can pull that off, and she does somehow. Loving the headband in the last pic, or is that a scarf tied as a bow? Love it.

  17. I have to laugh. Yeah Brittany L. you’re tripping on this one. Comment on the fashion that is presented, without making assumptions about the poor girl. Can she pass the bar first?! Geesh!

  18. I’m sorry when was I rude about matters I don’t know about? I stated my opinion about what I thought of her looks and why I felt that way.
Then in my next response I said y’all needed to cool it with the digs.
None of this was rudeness, being fired up or keeping it “real”–whatever that means.
And I don’t need to know the bombshell personally to know what she should and shouldn’t wear in court. That’s just silly.
I love how you guys are responding to me like I’m trippin’ or something when I’m not. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised seeing as how you guys like the looks she presented. For all I know, LOL, Janae, Cardelle and llehsal are all extensions of one commenter.

  19. I Love it! Very Eclectic. She looks comfortable and friendly…LOL. Maybe it’s the smile!

  20. Checked out the Blog, lovin the concept of beauty and Christianity tied into one. Keep up the great work :-)

  21. i think her looks are kind of disjointed. it’s like she had great pieces but didn’t put them together in a way that compliment each other. she is pretty, with great skin, and i really like her hair, though.

  22. Since it would be in poor taste for her to respond directly, let me do it for her.
Good discussion regarding her look can’t please everybody. This is my little sister you guys are discussing, and the comments on whether or not she would wear this in a court room is NOT!!! This is one of the few ways in which she gets to express herself. Law school sucks you dry of any self-expression, during the week she’s a drone, and on vacation and rare weekends this is what she do…

  23. Just read the comments. I was going to say, as a fellow law student, how awesome it is that you have time to really style yourself while in school. I usually just throw on a pair of tights and a tee for class. As far as @BritannyL, I doubt she dresses like this in court. In fact, I’ll change that doubt to I’m sure. I’ve never seen a prosecutor (especially a new prosecutor) in court wearing a striped skirt or jeans. duh. While you’re in law school, you should totally take advantage and dress however you want since in practice fashion rules are different.

  24. As our Miss Coco would say ”When accessorizing, always take off the last thing you put on.”

I really like the looks in general but there’s always some elements that are too much or ” de trop” as we say in french. Really like the stripe skirt ensemble!!!

  25. I know Patrecia and she has great sense of personal style. Style is about taking your own risks and how she does it is great for her. Love it!

  26. I actually like her looks…especially the wide-leg seer sucker pants with the fedora and floral top… that’s something I would never have thought to do!!!!

  27. I like the look, everyone has their own style and it works for her, keep up the great work and good luck with law school! fellow bombshell

  28. I just have to start off by saying I all the responses from my fellow law students! I actually think her style does look conservative from the mere fact that she’s not showing tons of skin & she’s not OVERLY accessorized. The last dress could actually be transition into the court room if she added a blazer and a nice pump. I’m sure in a climate like FL attorneys are always decked out in heavy suits!
    Keep it up counselor!!!

  29. Stunningly beautiful woman. Her style is cutting edge and everyone will be jocking her trend with in a year or two … and no I don’t know her personally so this is not a solicited comment. I am however a fashion editor for a prestigious fashion magazine and I know a taste maker when I see one. Congratulations to her also on on working towards a career in law. Perfect combination of beauty, style, brains and ambition.

  30. She’s confident, she’s cute and her unique style is not the same fabricated style I see on everyone else!

  31. I love the wide-leg pants!!! All of these law school/lawyer comments. Her sister Lisa said it best, “law school sucks you dry”. (I graduated law school in 2008 and passed bar in 2009) Law school can make you a drone, and suck all sense of individuality out of you. I think its the strategy of law school. Any who, my point is give the girl a break. Her weekend style probably doesn’t reflect her professional style.

  32. Hi Everyone, thanks so much for the comments and feedback! I’m always growing, and my style is always evolving. I believe my style reflects who I am, not what I see, so that I am proud of.

And Re: me actually dressing like this in my professional life, i..e in the courtroom, that is absurd! lol Thanks to those who have clearly pointed that out.

Be sure to check out the blog giftofgifts.blogspot.com!
    Peace & Love

  33. I’m not feeling many of the looks but i think it’s more because there are too many themes in some of the outfits. not horrible though, just now my style. she’s absolutely gorgeous though and her smile is killer. congrats on the career, it’s good to see a sister doing her thing!
