So you the readers have spoken, and Bombshells of the Day are back on!
Call me naïve, but I didn’t realize how many people love the feature and come here specifically for that! As I said, I still might not post every day. If we really don’t have anyone ‘bomb’ (or close to bomb), I’ll abstain for the day. But most days, yes, we will have a Bombshell.
Which brings us to today’s beauty: Mimi, a Manhattan transplant originally from ATL:

  4. Pretty girl/skin. She has a nice figure and seems to know what fits. Hair looks soft, bouncy and anti-wiggy, and is that a cosmetics bag with the purple dress moonlighting as a clutch ? Love it. IDK about the AA top, but the boobs are doing there thing and I ain’t mad ya.

  11. I think she is super cute! I also think that she’s done a great job with accessories.

    One question though, I like the sheer bodysuit but the lack of “support”….whats up with that?? I’ve seen several celebs wearing similar tops or certain dresses/tops where the girls need a little assistance.

  12. Us girls with bigger boobies need to put something under that american apparel sheer top. It still looks hot depending what you choose to wear under it for support.

    But other than that she has a nice classic style!!

I cannot STAND that AA top on ANYONE so it’s no surprise that I don’t like it in this pic however… it’s the only thing in her pics that I don’t like. she’s a gorgeous girl and she seems very comfortable with her style which is my fave thing. i’m gonna need those shoes in that last pic shipped to me ASAP! lol

    I apologize if my comment yesterday gave off the impression that I only visited your site for the daily Bombshell feature. In an attempt to convey my stance on your decision to limit the Bombshell to only a weekly feature, I truly downplayed everything else I love about your blog. I never wanted discredit nor fail to acknowledge all of the hard work you and your team put into making this blog such a huge success.

    My favorite aspect of the blog would have to be the industry interviews, cool online finds and the “What would you wear to…” Not to mention you respond to EVERY fashion inquiry email I have ever sent. You even respond to my twitter mentions. I know that “Claire’s Life” can be hectic, but you always find a way to make time for your readers. Your blog is very interactive, and that truly is the best part. The Bombshell submission just goes along with the interactive experience. With every submission I tell myself that one day I will get the courage to submit pictures of myself.

    Yes, the Fashion Bombshells are an important part of this blog, but they do not make it or break it – with or without I will remain a loyal reader and visit your blog for daily fashion and beauty inspiration.

    Now for the Bombshell, Great choice! The purple peplum dress is my favorite look.

  19. definitely some hits/some misses from me – beautiful and elegant with the red dress, and i like how she’s styled herself with the other dresses too. BUT it would have been great to see some more range (jeans? a suit? what do you wear to work? to the park?) so maybe a little one dimensional. i love how her beauty style is 100% on point – that first pic makes me want to get a fringe

  21. Cute dresses. I love the green bag (from what I can see) in the pic with the horrid AA bodysuit, that is the only look I can’t go-sign. However, the Michael Kors watch doesn’t go with everything, a bracelet would have been a better choice for the dress.

  22. Overall I like. She’s playing very safe for want of a better word in all her pieces except the black AA outfit (reminds me of myself). I dunno, I don’t hate the black top, but I wish there was something we could use to support us better in it. My favorite is the purple outfit :)

  34. Hello fabulous ones! This is Mimi, the Fashion Bombshell of the Day, and I want to say thank you to Claire for the exposure and thank you to everyone that commented. Speaking of “exposure”, I vow to be true to all of you and burn the AA top! Lol. It was fun for one night, but I haven’t worn it since. It was exciting to try and definitely an attention grabber but you guys are right about the thin line between support and show-stopping! I may have been a little too tipsy to care much that night. Lol! Duly noted ladies! Quick finder’s tips: red/orange dress-H&M, Plum dress-Betsey Johnson, black embossed handbag-Louis Vuitton, and the satin peep-toe mirrored platforms…Wild Pair for Bakers! Yeah! All make-up is by MAC (my fave is the plush lipglass called “Oversexed”) and all nail polish is OPI. Thanks again! Ciao babies.

  36. I love the air of sophistication to her. I can bet the stares she get as she walks down the street in Atlanta. Loves, loves, loves, a sophisticated woman; and she’s a dress girl makes me love her even more. Now on to some critiques, the only excuse for that bag in the pic with the purple dress is if it’s a makeup bag or feminine products bag. Not liking the see through black top, it makes you look like a copycat instead of an original.. Otherwise, you have great style and definitely a bombshell.

  40. BTW ladies&gents the clutch you guys see me holding is a Betsey Johnson cosmetics bag. Lol. I was headed to powder my nose during the Sarar show during NYC Fashion Week and this picture was taken. It was a small purse INSIDE of a larger bag. However, I like that it had purple, gold and red colors that popped off of my dress!

  41. She has nice style over all. Not really my thing, but the sheer jumpsuit is killing me. She has a great body but her boobs look to big for the top of the bodysuit. Other than that her style fits her well.

  43. With the exception of the AA top (which I hope Mimi burns it to pieces), the dresses are chic, sexy, and sophisticated. These are the dresses that must be paired with an evening bag because in the words of Junior Labeija of Paris is Burning fame:

    “It is a known fact that a woman do carry an evening bag at dinner time…You must carry something. No lady is sure at night.”

  46. By looking at mimi i can say she def. has style, the way she appears to carry her self in her pictures shows classiness, confidence as well as sexiness. The only thing i would have to say to mimi and any other future fashion bombs is show variety in your style. My fav. fashion bombs are the ones who can look great heading to the park, going to dinner, to the office, to church, as well as former events. Therefore, if you can look good in different aspects of life, thats truely an real life fashionista.

  52. One thing I love is class, and Mimi you excude alot of class and sophistication. Try adding some prints, color, and texture to your outfits, especially when you wear dresses that are one single color — I think it spices things up abit. Also, sometimes a skirt and blouse can give more personality to your look, then just a one-piece dress, yet give off that same lady-like look ur going for.

  55. i think she’s a pretty girl, with a chic and sophisticated looking style. i like all her outfits, except for the one with the aa top because her breasts are flattened and don’t have the proper support in the top.

  56. All the looks were chic. There is nothing wrong with black AA top. Her chest looks perfectly fine. I cant stand fake push up boobs anyway, she looks real.
