  6. I love the simplicity of her version of chic. I would have preferred to see a little more diversity though. But, she is working that silk top. And leave it wide open, honey. Buttoned up is for suckers! There’s nothing wrong with being sexy and bold.

    This is my beautiful Trinidadian & Jamaican (**BAP BAP**) friend from college. We lived together and I love the way her fashion has progressed throughout the years.

    She is hilarious and her fashion is just carefree, fun and sexy…
    I love the picture of you in my Favorite Pum Pum shorts.. Lol

  37. She’s reminds me of myself. Thin, wonderfully youthful skin, incredible locks and a pride for her God given assets, from ‘hair’ to toe! Collectively, we black women, need to redefine ourselves by redefining our vision of real beauty, which is beaming from Melanie. She (and Solange Knowles) is an inspiration to us all!
