We’re taking it back to the DMV today with Bombshell Dominique from DC:

She writes, “I started blogging (www.stilettoesq.com) about a month ago at the urge of some friends.”

“I’d describe my style as classic…”

“… with a twist of fun…”

“…I like to look effortlessly chic.”

” I hope to see my pics featured one day on fashionbombdaily!”

Well today’s your lucky day! I’d say you have more hits than misses. I’m not a huge fan of the cutoffs with tights, but I’m dying for your red pants and patterned pumps! That outfit is #boss.

  1. Lovely.. I would to know where you got the sweats in the first pic ( and the Top in the third ) but all pics (which is very rare) I like –

  2. A few very nice polished looks. Always great to dive into a new fashion blog. I’ll start to follow her and hopefully she will surprise me a little bit more in the future. Can’t wait to see…

  3. And i gotta say, CHECK HER BLOG! she has got so many nice outfits there, i love those ones even more then what i see here.

  4. another classic chic girly BOMB

F.Y.I stop looking for LABELS and look for original style not TRENDS !!!
    love it Dominque !!

  5. Its something about those DMV chics. They dress to kill. Every chic that i know from those states have darn near flawless style.

  6. That Vince Camuto top with the studded cuffs…to die for!!! I shoulda bought it when I saw it. Ugh!

She’s a winner. DC is doing it up this week!

  7. These classic bombshells are a breath of fresh air. I have to say I’m not a fan of cutoffs and tights either but on her they work. Verdict: Classically fab bombshell.

  8. Seriously I’m over the cut off shorts and tights looks!! EVERYONE IS DOING IT!!!!!!!! my goodness

Pretty girl…LOVE the red pants outfit and the sweats look

  9. I want to slap anyone who says “effortlessly chic” but I’ll forgive her because she looks good. Nice to see someone whose photos aren’t all Bebe club dresses.

  10. I really liked her style until I got to the cutoff shorts, tights and boots. Sooo tired of that look .

  11. Nice & classic. I
never ever like jean cutoffs with/without tights, that look is so bummy trailer park trash. I wish we could make it illegal!

Also kudos to a diva with NO WEAVE, NO WIGS and NO TURBANS!!!!

  12. The only thing that came to my mind was cute. very safe, but I like with each outfit she tries to do something a little different. Nice style, but not amazing.

  13. I like the outfit with the red pants. I checked out her blog and agree that the looks there are even better than those featured here!!

  14. Okay, I live in DC…aannnddd to me, she looks basic and boring as all heck! Mm…nothing special….like, at all!

  15. This to me is definitely reflective of DC style in terms of the young professional fashionista. polished with subtle flair; free restraint. I love her style. There’s the potential to do so much with each style, alot of versatility. I like :-) makes me miss DC.

  16. She’s polished and classic with a bit of surprise thrown in for interest. I think her looks is fab. The first picture, wow, I’m going to have to steal that look with the QUICKNESS–so, so cool. She nailed it.
