Hey Hey!
Today’s Bombshell is Addi from Brooklyn, New York:

She says, “I would describe my style as eclectic.”

” Sometimes it’s kicks and jeans, sometimes one-of-a-kind vintage pieces and sometimes it’s tailored suits and stand-out shoes and accessories.”

” But no matter what, it’s always a chic and playful nod to my truly varied city and ever-evolving style.”

Cute style and great hair. What’s your secret??

  5. now that’s a stylish lady!!! great clothing, figure flattering, awesome attention to detail, cool elements like the shoulders….I really dig it!

  6. I like it. I lik that she knows her body and knows what compliments her figure. My fav is the polka dot with blush jacket:)

  7. That blazer! Your “non-pose” pose? I love it all! Im so posing like that in all my pics!

  8. Hello Fellow Bombshelles!

You guys are being so kind-THANK YOU!

I saw a couple questions and wanted to be sure to answer–

The black and blue dresses are Monif C.
The grey dress and the blush-colored blazer are both ASOS Curve– sadly, the dress is long gone, but the blazer is still there

Yes, that loud : ) blazer is indeed vintage. I LOVE vintage shopping but do most of it at Re/Dress, which is a plus size vintage shop in BK. Even though they are BK-based, I know they often take their show on the road from time to time. They are super-responsive so, If you want them in your city, you should connect with them on twitter @redressnyc

PS. My hair secret is two-strand twist braids. If you have natural hair, they are an amazingly protective style and you can do SO much with them!

PPS. You know, some of my best pics are mistakes. Either I moved at the wrong moment or what I actually photographed looked very different on camera than they did in my head, lol. I say, ‘Embrace the mistakes!’

  9. Cute pieces, but most importantly she knows what looks good on her. I lovw thw multicolored and the pink blazer. She looks confident as well. Thumbs up.

  10. I absolutely love!!! Great pieces and she knows how to work her figure! Get it get it!! And that blazer is on point! Who want what?! LOL

  11. CUTE! You are rocking your style very well, love the pink cardi and multi color blazer

  12. I don’t think your style is eccletic. I would describe it as classic, feminine and sophisticated.

  13. one word… HAWT! love her style and how she works it with her shape.i’m LOVING the blazer, it’s just loud enough to attract and yet it works so well with the muted dress. Love it! work it chickadee!!

  14. Okay, Addi is definitely going to become a Blogger BFF in my Head!!! Love her style and she is definitely doing us curvy curly girlies in Brooklyn PROUD!!

  15. As we say down home, MAIWE ZVANGU!! The hauteness is killing me, three snaps for stylish full figure sisats. I LOOOOVE!

  16. My complaints are the lack of makeup (at least visible) including nail color to accentuate some of those looks and the marmish hairstyle w/the black cocktail dress. I’m a natural too and love pin-ups but don’t think that style came off as well as it could – at least in the photo.

I love your fit and silhouette in these looks. Even though the grey dress is styled amazingly w/the jacket and those brilliant fuchsia pumps, my fave look has to be the rose-toned(?) oxfords. The femme jacket and shirt were such an awesome contrast to the rolled up jeans and the shoes – perfect colors, prints, textures and hair. Very smart. Thx FB!

  17. your style says, IM A CONFIDENT CURVY WOMAN AND IM LOVING IT!!!!!!! just amazing i luv every look and thank u for rep. for us curvy woman all over the world size 12- and up lol keep doing your thang

  18. No offense at all, but the big girls on these BOTD REPRESENT!!! They rep harder than these skinny girls and its way more fashion for them!!

  19. She looks great. I love that her style is personal and she knows what works for her. Her wardrobe is current/fresh and not a walking billboard. Loves it! Tres chic. Boom Boom Pow! LOL! Werrk!

  20. Love her style! So unique and well put together. Will definitely check out her blog.

  21. I know I’m late but I had to comment-she looks SO cute. Love those dresses. And yes, if she could kindly submit BOTH those blazers to me nobody would have to get hurt, lol.
