  1. Yeah the 6 times comment seemed like shade. Anyways her style is ok, she looks like she may be in high school or college and these looks seem age appropriate and fun.

  2. that was some definte shade but I see why it was tried 6 times her style is not gelling to well.

  3. She was clearly VERY anxious to be on FBD, for what reason…the world will never know…

  4. She’s all over the place. I think the best submissions are when the fashion isn’t forced. I think many of these young ladies are still finding themselves and it shows.

  5. She is not standing out in Hong Kong, those girls know fashion. My brother is station out there, I was so impressed by their fashion trend.

  6. Well why not be constructive for the child, then? I liked the last two pics but this the pics shown mid-submission weren’t the most flattering on her frame (like the midi/bermuda shorts)

  7. I do like the 3rd outfit (white dress)…

Cool that she is out there seeing the world, I’ve always wanted to visit HK!

  8. The women in HK aren’t playing, a lot of Asians with money can dress their butts off

  9. Inasmuch as I love this site, some of the comments by the staff seems off-handed and a little rude. She was obviously eager to be featured and the fact, that you shaded her like that is insensitive to a reader who probably loves this site.

  10. That did seem like shadeeee lol but I am fine with that! And yes for inquiring minds I am a 22yr old college student …. I love my style and can really care less who doesn’t. Not everyone is going to like it and not everyone should but whether I sent my submission 1-100 times I still got a feature :-) and I am SURE that I am not the only girl that has sent more than 1 submission to this blog so obviously she saw something she liked because I could have been ignored forever just like some you may be. So until you can make it on the blog don’t be so negative :-) thanks again ! :-*

  11. brave girl to even send pics in – but when you send in your pics – YOU WILL BE CRITICIZED. thats life.

i say just tone the pieces down and focus on one statement item. i want to focus on you wearing the clothes…not the clothes and accessories wearing you.

  12. I didn’t read the 6 times comment as shade at all. It just shows her eagerness, when you want something, go for it. I feel that her style is evolving right now and in time she’ll get into her own personal style.
    Blessings

  13. This is what I subjected to living in (Atlanta) Georgia. This attempt at doing the most, but results in sub par fashion.

  14. This makes me sad…..6 times. It makes me wish that fashion did not become the spectator turned participant sport that it has become.

  15. I have nothing negative to say about the young lady, however these two comments right here are what kills me about ATL and the fashion scene in general! I just got my whole life when I read them because I moved down from the DMV to ATL for a little while back in 02 and was blown in the worst way by the styling. And yes they are very fashion savvy in asia I’ve been to korea and japan.

“This is what I subjected to living in (Atlanta) Georgia. This attempt at doing the most, but results in sub par fashion”

“Doing the most while achieving the least”

  16. That’s not a NO but a HELL no. Girl, go bathe and get to your classes. Wasting everybody’s time. Atrocious!

  17. Im shocked at how mean-spirited and childish some of these comments are. Not opinions or feedback…. Just nasty, shyt-talking! And im convinced many of these posters would be eaten alive if ever they came out from behind their computer screens. Ijs

  18. I liked her cream ensemble with the fur vest. I can not really tell what it is from her positioning, but it looks cute. Her style is a little young for me, but she’s 22 so it works for her. I won’t even go into Atlanta fashion but Ilike2smize pretty much sums it up. Give the young lady a break, persistence pays off. She got fearuted and that was her goal. I am not mad at her.
