While we have lots of love for female style, we’ve got to showcase some of our male readers!
Today’s Fashion Bomber is Ian from New Jersey:

He says, “ My style is classic contemporary American…”

” though I take risks with sneakers (they’re my addiction)”

“I inherited my love for fashion from my Mom because she enjoyed keeping me dipped up from the day I was born…lol.”

” I then evolved into finding my own style.”

” I am a singer working on my second ep.”

“Check out my tumblr thereevolution.tumblr.com for updates on my fashion/music/life”

Loving your sneaker game! Cute!

  1. Some hits, some misses..The silver trench with the fatigue shirt is a no, the denim shirt with the elbow patches, yes. But his style is very American. Those sneakers (and maybe I’m showing my age but they are too much.)

  2. HE LOOKS GREAT!!! finally a bomber that doesn’t look overly “flamboyant”.. i got tired of seeing dudes here dressed in females clothes. This guys style is perfect! edgy enough to be a Bomber but not over the top. love it

  3. His style is cool!……nothing special. He look like every other dude walking around…..he just got a trench

  4. I agree that that trench must be burned….but I can get with everything else, especially the military jacket and blue blazer fits. He’s adorable…looks like one of my best friends ‘Te–who dresses well himself. Overall, I approve.

  5. You know what, I can tell he’s still evolving in his style. I like where he’s going. The gray trench will be sharp with the right shirt and dark black slacks.

KUDOS TO YOU BROTHA, FOR KEEPING IT MASCULINE!!!

  6. Ok, Ok, I likes (lil Warren G look-a-like)…I see you- lol
Very masculine indeed…..the inspector gadget trench…*covers eyes* but over all I like *clapping*

  7. It sucks a lot of peeps aren’t feeling his trench. It’s actually pretty dope, the flaw is in the execution. I can appreciate the attempt at juxtaposition he made, but that trench would have fared better with a suit and dress shoes.

  8. I like that he looks like a GUY instead of the previous ones rockin’ fitted jeans, skin tight harem pants and glitter covered sweaters *slaps forehead*… I wish it were more guys to submit.

  9. Is it wrong that I’m a dude who thinks he has really sexy lips?…I’m going to hell aren’t I…

  10. @ Savage, yes the comment does age you a bit cause his show/sneaker game is on point!
Like his evolving style….. you have to start somewhere….

  12. I agree with Bebe Jones. Today’s Fashion Bomb has an ok style imo, but I give him extra kudos for being a guy that is actually dressed like a guy. Painted on jeans, bedazzled tops, midriff exposed…if a guy chooses to dress like that its his prerogative, but I don’t see the fashion in that.

  13. @ Ian I never been to Jersey b4 but you are definetly everything I heard about Jersey dudes … I Like your style … HAUTE!!

  14. @ zimbabwechic i agree with you on execution && @ Ian once you execute its nothing but photographs after that but again HAUTE !!!

  15. I slighty understand his Fashion Approach…. but seriously FBB there has to be better first place winners!! Who’s responsible for selcting the “Bomber Of The Day”???? Fire them!!!

  16. @Sheba I guess 25 is too old to appreciate rediculous looking sneakers that don’t match with ur fit lol

  17. Hi everyone .. Thank you so much for the feedback. The Jacket is actually beige but the lighting of the pic made it appear gray. Thanks again though.

  18. With the exception of the trench ensemble, these looks fit him well. Like a few others said, I like that he dressed masculine…nothing against femininely dressed men, I personally see the masculine thing as more stylish :)

  19. Yeahhh Ian!! I love your Burberry trench bc it’s the key staple item anyone should own – man or woman! Thxs everyone for the feedback – good, bad or indifferent! xoxo

  20. He has good style overall. I like that he looks like an individual. I agree that the trench is nice, but that wasn’t the outfit to wear it with. The only look I can’t get with is the leather jacket.

  21. I’m w/you Savage. I really don’t that sneakers should be a staple for grown men, so juvenile…He could stand to refine the looks a tad as well. But, at least it looks like he shops in the men’s department. ;-)

  22. He have some nice pieces, but he is not well put together. I do like his trench and those leopard printed sneakers, but I didnt like how he wore em

  23. Heeeeey what a pleasant surprise! I never had the courage to submit my flicks, but seeing a familiar face makes me want to. This kid can really sing too check him out!

  24. Great looks! And it’s a bit of a change from what we often see from Fashion Bombers (not that the others haven’t looked good, too).

I think that trench would look great over a black tee and black pants so that it becomes the centre-piece of the outfit :)

  25. Everyone have their own style so you have to looks at a persona style on these three things; fit, color and appropriateness. So though his style isn’t avant garde he does have a knack for picking good tops. just need to work on sizing.

  26. Thanks again everyone.. I appreciate the constructive criticism. I do see where a lot of you kind people we’re coming from. Thanks for all feedback..positive and negative.

  27. style is dope!love the trench and sneaks are nice too!im from the nj area and dude is fly. Most jersey guys atill wearing oversized rocawear!! Also, id rather see Ian than lil wayne in leopard jeggings any day!

  28. Y am I not surprised he is a hit here? U guys are more happy with how ‘cute’ he is. Smh. Thirsty broads.

-anyways. Ilike the direction of the looks. But fit and completion are way off. C+ at most.

  29. Cute??? Babies are cute. This guy is straight-up HANDSOME!!! He’s got style that only fashion buffs appreciate. Lovin’ the way he sets the trend without saggy crap, skinny jeans, or overbearing bling. Nice!!

  30. Thirsty broads because we think he’s cute? @Hypocrites? Well pardon me. SLURP SLURP GULP SLURP.

  31. TTH: Trying Too Hard.

Style should appear (notice I didn’t say “be”) effortless. The whole wistfully looking off into the distance isn’t necessary.

The trench? Is that your moms?
The motorcycle that looks like it’s from F21: too shiny. Invest in real leather, it’ll last forever, and when it breaks down, it’ll look worn in and vintage-y.

    The cuffed jeans? I can’t.

The slumped shoulders…confused head-scratch– awkward poses.

But boy, you get hella kudos for trying. For putting effort into your style rather than just wearing whatever, or worse, copying what you see on your favorite rappers. Kudos for being a cutie. Just remember baby boy: less is more! Make one piece a standout and tone down the rest, and you shall go far.

  32. To the DCA who left the dumbest comment STFU!!!!!STFU!!!! Please!!!!! you fake as*s fashion critic trying to be an internet gangster I read your comments and know that you can only say this online, you are probably quite reserved in person. Get yourself together and give a simple answer on whether you like his style. Trying make fun of this man who probably look a million times better then you! Boo you weak, can stand half of the people who comment on, Ya’ll seem like ya’ll didn’t receive love as a child.

  33. Ehhhhhh….. He definitely has some nice individual pieces, but he could use some better execution or “styling”.
