  1. I think she is the cutest, I love her hair, makeup and the way she uses accessories. Her style is headed in the right direction but I would suggest that she tries wrap blouses and peplum blouses to accommodate her bosom

  2. Her clothes are not complimentary to her figure- she has a very large bosom and smaller bottom and it seems as though she’s trying to focus on the fact that her breasts are so large– I think if she styled herself differently it would be more appeasing-

  3. given your body type … you tried… however for the most part these selections relay you are not conscious of your body type …. But hey whatever floats your boat …(though it is sinking in reality)

meh…. A Line skirts appear to be fitting on you helps Evens out your Big Ole Breastess (No Shade! I am formerly a proud member of the G cup family) the maxi skirt was your best look … that green jacket ensemble… UGK! looks like you literally picked your clothes off floor and put it on.

  4. I think she looks cute! The fits are a little off, but I know it can be challenging when you’re a bit top heavy. Still, pretty good :)

  5. The looks with the leopard, orange & purple blazers suit her the best. Some of the other outfits don’t compliment her; maybe tops that accentuate her boobs opposed to putting the focus on them.

  6. I voted “Bombshell” because I like her style! I also like the fact that she had the courage to submit her pics!

  7. NOT a bombshell and its got nothing to do with her size. She’s just NOT stylish please let’s call a spade a spade… :-)

  8. Hello my fellow beautiful big breasted queen. I as well am fated to the inverted triangle shape (H chest)…and girl, don’t believe what they say! We can make it work! Some of your choices here were not ideal for our shape.

    Avoid horizontal stripes
Avoid belts right under the breast
Wider skirts are better for us
Brighter/ busier bottoms with toned down tops

I looove that denim, hooded throw in the last pic.

    Blessings

  9. Hmmm I’ll say this a fellow big bust girl….support is important and shapewear is too. I think if she had on a nice lifting bra her looks would appear more polished….

  10. No more tucking in shirts unless there’s a belt (like the polka dot skirt or high waisted maxi). I think just watching the fit of her tops would be helpful, especially for starting an apparel line where you model them (good for you, LaMirica) #BlackDollar

  11. ^ Didn’t mean to say the maxi had a belt…just put the closing bracket in the wrong place. The polka dot skirt fit was good because of the belt. And the high-waisted maxi skirt was good because, well, it was high-waisted.

  12. I like the denim and camo shirt with belt and shoes look.

he purple printed maxi skirt would look fab with a pale blue peplum.

I like the color story of the leopard boots look but something about the way shirt is tucked in gives an awkward silhouette.

The houndstooth blazer with purple blouse is a great professional look. Hair looked fab there too.

  13. Orange blazer Ooooooooo! I love that look!

Keep strutting your stuff and be unapologetic about your style! You look great!

And people… some of the other “bombshells” have professionally taken pictures. So don’t judge when someone doesn’t.. because the style is just as good.. just not the photo quality!

  14. The looks are a affordable take on trendy, which is no my cup of tea. I didn’t find anything in the pictures that screamed classic or original. You can also use some alterations to your clothing to assist with a more accommodating fit.
Over all, It’s an okay presentation. But, these pictures show nothing new than what I see girls from the south who come to NY do. Top bun, bright colors….Better luck next time.

  15. those poses are what is killing me ever so softly but she definitely put forth a great effort – I like the black leather skirt look.

  16. I think her most of her looks are cute….I think rocking more A-Line skirts would make her look more proportioned and bring balance. Over all not bad. It looks like

  17. NOPE: there’s something really off with her style. I also don’t think she dresses for her body type at all.

  18. There were some hits and some misses. Please don’t ever wear that ashy pink lipstick again. It’s horrible. You look great in a blazer and should try a different cut of pants sometime. A wide or straight leg jean would look good on you. Please don’t even wear a skinny belt again. That is a no-no. I think you could pull off a wider belt tho. Also, you look much better with your shirts untucked. Good luck :)

  19. kudos for submitting. it takes courage. i liked the purple look and the one with the matching booties and clutch. the rest were misses for me.

  20. After looking at her blog, I really want to change my vote to I’ll pass for all the duck lip photos she has on there. Yuck! LOL

  21. Oh no. She clearly doesn’t know how to dress her shape : top heavy. Just cause you can fit into cloths doesn’t always mean they would look right on your. The outfit with the skinny jeans? Seriously?

  22. There is way to give your opinion or tips without being an ass. I swear most of you would not have the balls to be this cruel to someone’s face. This is actually sad.

  23. Positives first: I give her props for submitting her pics and for being a self-starting business owner. KUDOS! Courageous…I really like the orange blazer look, its the most eye-catching in a positive way, although you should have chosen a less fitting top to go under the blazer.

As a top heavy, inverted triangled shaped, plus sized woman I understand your struggle. However, we must wear things that compliment our best assests while balancing the rest with clothing that gives us the appearance of an hourglass.

Look into tops that are v-necked and have minimal detailing in the bust area (no more ruffles). Choose bottoms that will balance your top- patterned and wider legged (sorry, skinnys aren’t for everyone). Blazers work, if done appropriately.

You have a decent eye for clothing pieces, just do a bit more research on your body style and stick to what works for your body (not necessarily what everyone is wearing).

  24. Is this a joke? This submission has to be a joke.
There is no fashion here, just someone that can match.
She needs better undergarments and to elevate her style to the next level by realizing that FIT is just as much a part of your outfit, as is the color combination.

  25. For all of you jealous females who think she needs to do better, how about you save some of your hard earned money and buy her some clothes. I don’t see anything wrong with her style. Just because God didn’t bless you in the breast department doesn’t give you the authority to try and downgrade her. Take a good look in a full framed mirror before you talk about somebody else. Like I said, how about you save some of your money and buy her a new outfit since y’all think something is wrong with her apparel. Haters are like roaches; annoying and comes in a large number.

  26. Fit, Fit, Fit! And also no one said you have to try all the trendy accessories at one time with one outfit. But overall cute.

  27. I personally think you look great in most of the pictures. I love your style and I think you did a great job overall.

  28. Lets try to be Postive – it takes a brave woman to submit pics … Well done … Your purple maxi skirt look was the best look .. For the rest they weren’t really working in my opinion.. Take hints from other larger ladies who have been bombshells in the past and polish up you look. All the best.

  29. The best looks were the orange blazer and the grey blazer with the ruffled shirt… those two outfits actually looked styled. The rest were ok…but they just look regular to me. I like the last blazer because I have it too…LOL… but I def would’ve dressed it up more…

  30. I agree about understanding fit and if your going to tuck in shirts go up a pants size. Your beautiful and I think there’s potential with minor tweaking here or there

  31. I swear I can’t ever figure out what people on this site like lol I wasn’t expecting for so many people to say that they liked this submission (based on the reactions past submissions got)

There are a few looks that were cool…not really feeling the majority of them though

I do love the makeup and hair in the last pic

  32. Disagreeing with an outfit or fit of clothing doesn’t equal jealousy.

IMO- her clothes do not flatter her shape. Everything is not for everybody, tucking her shirts in and using belts on her non-existent waist makes her look that much more like a triangle.

Kudos to her, having a goal and going for it.

  33. not polished or well fitting at all…but i like that she sets goals and follows through.

    i need to do that.

  34. To the few people that mentioned the word ‘jealousy’…I cannot help but disagree. For the first time in along while, I actually see more comments being contructive critique, as opposed to just being mean and demoralising.

To LaMirica, like a few people have stated before me, you need to be aware of body type. In your case, you are an inverted triangle (ie. top heavy with wide shoulders and a big bust, and you get narrower as one goes down your body).
With such a body type, it is crucial that you avoid anything that further narrows your hip/ thigh arrear.

DONTs: Stay away from pencil skirts, skinny jeans and fitted bottoms.

DOs: A line skirts, fuller skirts, pleated skirts, wrap dresses, dresses with full skirts (ie.skater dresses), trousers with wider legs.

In relation to the bust arrear, avoid high neck tops. People pay to have big boobs. You have the, naturally, so it is only right that you do them justice by dressing them up properly.

DONTs: Avoid crew necklines, high collared necklines, pussy-bow tops, skinny belts underneath the boobs, anything with embellished or exaggerated shoulders

DOs: cross over tops, tasteful plunging necklines, v necks

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS: Avoid poses with you crossing one leg in front of the other. [eg. The pix with you in the orange blazer]. It further narrows your bottom half.
Also avoid posing with both hands extended onto your waist. It further widens your already broader shoulders. [eg. The pix with you in the navy blazer].

On that note, the only outfit I liked was the one with the black/white polka dot skirt. It would have been 100% with a lower neckline and different lipstick.

Good luck with your style transformation. Xo
