We’re just gonna stay down south all week, cool? Today’s Bombshell is Nia from Atlanta:

The Georgia peach says, “I’m a graphic designer and newbie style blogger!

…You can say that I’m the “artsy-fartsy” type.”

I’m a LOVER of goodwill and thrift stores…I’m proud to say that 80% of my closet is from goodwill.”

“Being a girl that’s on a tight budget and also loves to shop…it works out pretty well!”

“I’m all about wearing color and mixing patterns/textures.”

” I love to make a BOLD statement in everything that I wear. Check out my blog here >> www.hand-pickedstyle.blogspot.com

Will do! You better work those colors, girl! I love it. It’s been a good week, no?

  1. I like her style..it’s clean and sophisticated, she also know how to work well with colors… Bombshell

  2. Bombshell! She mixes colors effortlessly and doesn’t seem like she’s “trying to be trendy”.

  3. Great style. I love how its classic but trendy with the colors and patterns. Well done.

  4. Unfortunately, I don’t really like any of the outfits except the denim shirt and skirt outfit, loved the pop of color and the hint of sophistication. Some of the pieces just scream cheap to me like the red shoes and the pleather jacket. She doesn’t wear much make-up which is cool, but I think she could refine her make-up routine or application a bit.

  5. Her clothes are surprisingly well fitted for someone who only shops at thrift stores. Usually people drown in their clothes when they thrift. Maybe she knows how to do alterations.

That denim shirt/black white maxi skirt was my fav. look

  6. Country…

And this is coming from a Southern lady who loves Thrift shopping… so NoHate, just MyOpinion.

  7. OK I see her! She def looks fitted for the thrift store. And I love her colors. Excellent choice of accessories, especially in the fourth set.

  8. (to add) looking at her blog she did not submit the best photos..b/c i went to her blog and this girl can really dress…she has a blue dress with a yellow belt that I love!!! I would do something different with the hair tho…

  9. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!

The colors, combinations, risk with sophistication make your style something the average can pull off.

    I love it!!!

  10. Some nice peices here and she appears to have a real eye. I would recommend that she work on her hair and make-up for a more polished look head to toe.

  11. Very nice and brave use of colors, patterns, and fabrics. Keep up the good work what’s more important is you just started fashion blogging and you’re already getting seen.

  12. She is her own person. That comes across in her entire look. Love it! Bombshell!

  13. I’m a fan. Love her use of bold colors and textures. And Ms. Lady knows she can accessorize! Interestingly enough, I’ve seen her on instagram. We have a few mutual friends, lol. She dresses dope and keeps dope company. I definitely dig her.

  14. A lovely bomb! Love the short do. Ignore the cheap comments, they don’t seem to be coming from a good place.

  15. THANK YOU to The Fashion Bomb for even posting my photos. Thank you to all of the compliments and I appreciate that you appreciate my style. For those of you who don’t like it so much and taking the time out of your day to say so…I’ll just say this…I can’t please everybody…but I DO LOVE ME and that’s all that matters. xoxo

  16. I liked her looks but as pp stated I think the hair and make-up needs improvement to complete the look.

  17. I really like her accessories…..I don’t how I feel about her style. I like her pieces SEPARATELY, but that’s just me. But even through the pictures, you can feel her swag and confidence and that’s not something clothes can do on their own.

  18. I like the shorts I have them in grey, I love the bright colors, but am I the only one that still buys my clothes brand new lol everybody is thrifting these days!

  19. I agree with @NYC polished hair and makeup would make these beautiful looks that much more impactful. That being said, I love her style and voted Bombshell.

  20. Love everything about this bombshell. You can definitely tell that she is into art. I love how she mixes colors and patterns. Everything seems so original and I love a girl who can actually turn thrift store clothing into chic looks.

  21. I love her photography….great pictures…going to check the blog. More than likely there are better outfit choices on there. She’s cute…great job working the thrifted pieces in because I can tell the thrifted pieces in the outfits.

  22. Pretty colors of summer! Like how you mix and match with the wardrobes. Can’t keep my eyes off from you tangerine shorts.

  23. Love all of her clutches and shoes in the last pic! She needs to offer up some thrifting tips because I don’t seem to have the eye that she has!

  24. Country? Just because she’s from the south? There’s nothing country here!

  25. I really like her use of color and mix of prints. However, it’s not executed well. I agree with the other commenters, if she polished up her look she’d look great.

  26. I loved the first two looks. The one w/the orange shorts and the one with the denim shirt. OMG-so dope, but it quickly went downhill (those polka dots-c’mon ma). The rest was just okay. Overall, not bad though.

  27. She mixes her colors so effortlessly! Also her clothes fit very well #bombshell

  28. Definite bombshell!!!! You have to work with what you have and she’s doing her thang! I agree that she should step up her hair and makeup but perhaps she’s not into that, and I think that’s just fine. Love her use of color, not everyone can mix brights like this.
