  1. I feel like all the black bombshells featured have a similar look. Pattersns, scarfs, tons of accessories….sometimes it is just too much. I would like to see some clean, classic fashions from ethnic girls. Im over the “stuff” look.

  2. She just needs some fine tuning. At least one piece needs to be taken off in almost each look.

  3. Lizzy….i like it….way too much going on, but I still like…Are you a cancer…so many pieces and styles and prints and accessories. I have to talk myself down everytime I get dressed…do you ma…you seem like you are young and enjoy life. Headed to the blog.

  4. Acessories complete her looks..i would remove one here and there but she looks like a bombshell to me

  5. Thanks Claire for featuring me.. Hahaha… Y’all ripping me apart already… I BELIEVE IN OVER DRESSING – I love it – It’s what’s gotten me this far, established my client base and helped me style a few high profile clients…..I own it… lol…Happy Friday my loves.. God Bless

  6. I like over dressing too as long as it tells a story. Your telling a story Lizzy. If Rihanna or kim k did it, it would be ok.

  7. SMH…if she described herself as Nigerian , Yall would think she was the best thing since slice bread.

Go Lizzy…you have your own style…I see your OWN personality…you not trying to be any other person but YOU. Keep it FAB n UNIQUE

  8. I think she looks great. I too am a lover of leopard & to me there is no such thing as over-accessorized. Many people like to quote the old adage from Coco Chanel about taking off a piece if jewelry. Even if she wasn’t a known racist I’d pay that no mind. Fashion is about self expression so how is that so if people spend so much time paying attention to ‘rules’?

She looks great, her clothes fit & she feels good about herself. My kind of person

  9. It’s just way too much going on. I see what she is going for. But mix and matching is not a decent outfit make

  10. Claire, I think you meant “Dallas, Texas based bombshell” at the beginning of the post (not “Dallas, Houston based”). :-) Some hits and some misses for me but her personality shines through!

  11. Bombshell, but her style is not my cup of tea. Too much going on compared to my own personal style.

  12. I like it. Its a bit much for me but for some reason it works for her. And like she said…She owns it! Maybe that’s why it works. I like it bc although for my personal taste its to much but some of her looks i think i would wear just toned down to my more subdued personality.

  13. @kris …. you obviously haven’t been following the blog since 2010 to see that no, not all africans tie scarfs and wear the same thing.

@Wilona…aww are you bothered by Nigerians having bombshell status most times?? Toughen up & stop using it as an excuse to pity non-nigerians.

  14. Like everyone else said… she has a bit too much going on at times, but all in all she is a pretty woman.

Also, Dallas and Houston are damn near polar opps… please don’t lump the two. It’s equivalent to lumping NYC to DC. Both sets of cities are 4 hours away from each other and have totally different EVERYTHING.

  15. She’s pretty and I liked the majority of her looks. Bombshells come in different styles. If she’s not a bombshell, she’s close to it.

  16. Looool @wilona..for real???so much hate for my nigerian sisterz..we fiiiiiine girl and we always bring it..accept it and stfu k..psst!

  17. I want clean looks….less is more. I like her clothes but just not together…..many times i feel the women featured on here look border line ghetto

  18. Not my taste, waaaaay to much going on, too all over the place and personally i really want this mohawk phase to die…im over it, it’s boring, nothing new…

  19. Gave me some ideas: thank you, Bombshell. The yellow dress “hem bun” was nice as was the simple white tank under the sheer shirt. As I read over the comments, there’s mentions of “over accessorizing.” Oddly, I didn’t notice, as I took in her outfits not as a whole but in pieces.

  20. “Before leaving the house, a lady should stop, look in the mirror, and remove one piece of jewelry.” -Coco Chanel

  21. Oh my goodness @mo_sheri10 you read my mind! I had the same quote and variations of it floating thru my mind as I viewed this post.
A little editing would make a lot of these looks work for me, but Im not wearing them. She is and she seems to love being over the top (as she stated in her response to critics) so whatever floats her boat…

  22. She’s my kinda of fashionista , you have to do you ,I love a person that tells a story through her clothing choices. She’s an artist and personality driven dresser have fun & grow with it ! It’s all good !

  23. Fashion can be art. It is psychology, sociology, history, identity religion, sexuality, gender, politics, and commerce. It is the material of the everyday and a vehicle for profound human performance. Lady Lizzy is my definition of fashion. Do your thing Lady…… Boldly telling a story. …….love them all. XXX.

  24. I love your style Lizzy….you look great! Its different and thats what i like about it :)

  25. She has a lot of spunk! I Say bombshell. Awesome that her personality is able to translate through her style.

  26. idk. i like it lol.. i LOVE her hair…the first two pictures i really liked. but there is one there where she has earrings, necklace, bracelet AND rings…and fatigue and red. TOOO much accessorizing on that one

  27. Again someone said bomshells come in different forms. She is definitely a bomshell. Very HOT. It looks like it works for her. Most people don’t get gwen stefani (always say there’s too much stuff going on) but she’s a trend…literally………….

  28. this gal is definately the bom,,,,,, luv everything…lizzy bomshell. Dont worry about the over accessorizing,,,,, trending styles dont follow the norm,,,,,,be you

  29. I like your style but one major thing I have never had the courage to tell you- too many accessories in one sitting. Cut back and this make the whole picture look well put.

  30. Thank you all for the compliments and criticism…. I’m Living Life, Loving what I do, Learning New things and Laughing a lot while at it…. @Yussufswife… You asked if I was a Cancer… actually I am not, I am a LEO… Iol.. I like to think I have a lot of personality and totally full of life… I go all out on everything I do… haha… I over do everything, so my excess accessories are here to stay…. thank you all so much either way, I wish y’all a very blessed year ahead and remember to live your life to the fullest… it’s just too short to hold back, and have reservations… much love your Way… xoxo.. Lizzy :-) Thank you Claire for featuring me…

  31. I wouldnt recreate but I like it on her. It def grabs my attention. Shes different. I can dig it….
