As we know, boudoir-inspired fashion has re-surfaced as one of spring’s most risky (and questionable) trends. While some may feel that lace bodysuits and satin robes are only suitable for the bedroom, there are a few style mavens who are proving that these pieces can also double as wardrobe essentials. So, in this week’s Rock It! Or Knock It? feature, we’re focusing on the corset.

Rihanna layered her lilac corset over a matching ‘fit which features a flowy button-up, a mini skirt and Givenchy lace/leather mules. This sort of pairing makes the look a little unexpected yet fun.
Street style pro Kim Kardashian West gravitated towards a more neutral palette.
Laura Govan took a more creative approach by donning a basket weave corset. She added a pair of distressed denim, and a gorgeous pink coat by House of CB. Werk!
And Gigi Hadid slayed the look in a striped option by Rubin Singer.
