We’re ending this full week with Lauren from Nashville, Tennessee:

She says, “I am a graduate student currently working on my Masters in Nonprofit Leadership and working 2 jobs in that field because that is my true passion. “

“I would describe my style as not necessarily following fashion trends but just going for what I like.”

” Not all trends are made for everyone. I love seeing various fashions but I stick with what looks best for me personally. Stay true to your style, fashion can be defined in various ways.”

“I love bright colors particularly hot pink, orange, and yellow.”

“My style is very bold, loud, colorful, vivid, and girly.”

“I am into color blocking and pop lip color. My favorite lip pop color is Candy Yum-Yum (a very bright pink) and Morange lipsticks made by MAC.”

” I love diamonds and things that sparkle the most. The way I dress fits my personality bright, out-going, and glitzy.”

“The world is my run-way. I love planning outfits for upcoming events. I am very detailed so I always shop ahead. I love most dresses, high-heels, and bags.”

A girly girl after my own heart. I love dresses and high heels–and things that sparkle. Also, snaps for your recreation of Stacy Dash’s colorblock outfit from Single Ladies. You nailed it!
At any rate, what do you think of Ms. Lauren?

  1. You know how to work well with pastel/bright colors. You have an undertsanding on how to stand out, but not be tacky with it. You have similar blonde hair from that other fashion bomb, but yours looks much more natural. I would have like to see you in more diverse outfits like pants, because I get a club feel from most of your outfits. You’re shoe is cute! You just remind me of more refined version of the other big and blonde fashion bomb from a few days ago.

  2. OKAY SOROR!! You better WERK! Yes, I love it! Even though all of your pics but one, represent going out outfits, I still like your sense of style and color use. Fab!

  3. The best FASHION BOMB THIS WEEK! sorry! hands down! It was a mess this week. Everyone was aight or horrible! The only advise I would give is stay away from that orange and red lipstick you had with that pretty black and gold dress, makes you look older.

  4. Thank u! you ended this week with a BANG! a FASHION BOMB! the rest were either aight! or just HORRIBLE!

  5. Its all dresses and pumps! Where are the everyday looks?? I mean she looks cute but I thought to be a Fashion Bombshell you had to present STYLE in various settings not just club looks=/

  6. cute girl and cute dresses but this is just club wear. Can we see more of your style outside of skin-tight party dresses.

  7. I hear some people are screaming that she didn’t present her daytime outfits. let me see..people have presented diverse looks and still got thumbs down. You can tell when a woman has style, and I believe that she does. I don’t need to see her day looks, because I know they would also be cute. She is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better compared to what I saw this week. I agree with blk rose, she does work well with colors.

  8. i love itt!!! it takes real talent to wear such bright colors and not look tacky. shouts to the fab Laurens of the world lolol =)

  9. @Loneismyhometown, I really don’t understand the issue here. Why is it a problem that people want to see how she dresses outside of the club? She knows how to kill a dress and some heels but I wouldn’t mind seeing her everyday wear as well. All I’m seeing in this post is party dresses, are we asking for too much by requesting more variety in her attire?

  10. congrats my fellow NASHVILLIAN on making the blog! i’ve seen you around various times and you ALWAYS look decent. however i agree with some of the earlier comments… we would like to see more everyday wear. having style is more than a simple dresses, skirts/tops, and pumps.

  11. Cute stuff. And kudos to you for going after a masters in Non-Profit leadership! We NEEED more black folks to get into this arena.

  12. Where are the everyday outfits? Does she go to work in this stuff or to the mall in bodycon?

Not a fashionista but a cute girl.

  13. Well I have come to speak for myself. 1) Thanks bombshell you hit it right on my inspirtation was Stacy Dash in Single Ladies. I took a picture of the screen on my DVR. lol But to the rest of the comments I did submitt other daytime looks even my birthday dress that I had made but those photos were not picked. I sent a lot with 4 photos in one (iPhone app) but the selections were made and I am okay with what was picked. I am just appreciative I made the blog. I knew opinions would come we are all entitled to them. Thanks :-)

  14. Loves it! I’m feeling your blonde. Werq! Her style was perfect way to transition into the weekend. xoxo

  15. Not feeling the hair but you definitely have the figure for those dresses. That first dress is FIRE! Love the pink Sam Edelman heels too. Overall, great looks.

  16. Not a fashion bomb to me. Everyone looks good when they go out. It’s the everyday looks that I enjoy seeing.

  17. I love the houndstooth pea coat, I need to know how to find one. I agree with the hair, not liking it at all. Everything else is on point.

  18. She looks nice… Why do you want to see more styles?? She didn’t say she was a runway model. And everyone doesn’t look nice when they go out… : )

  19. I agree with everyone that says you can tell if someone has style from the their outfits day or night. I loved everything she did. Everything was on point form hair, makeup, shoes and accessories. Nothing was over the top. Like some mailbombs who go way over for fashion and it just doesn’t work. She was good the best one this week.

  20. was it me or did she wear the same thing in each pic….. YAWN !
this is fashion not party gurl club gear 24/7

  21. Very cute girl, just too many club looks for my taste. I’d like to see her work/before 5PM attire.

  22. I could never hate on a soror. SKEE WEE Lauren, I wore my version of that pink/green outfit to Homecoming at FAMU this year! And those Sam Edelmans are GORGEOUS! One suggestion though: Indique Indian Hair. The weave is looking a little thin, and Indian hair has more volume, more swing, less shed, and looks fab! One time for all the pretty girls!!!! BA SPR ’07 #32 “Apocalypse”

  23. I don’t see the big deal, even though she does’t have any everyday looks all her looks she presented were still cute and well put together.

  24. Same dresses with different colors. She knows what works for her, but it’s also her down fall. Her hem lines never onces changed. Her style is cute though. I believe she is teh best we had all week.

  25. Hmm cute girl but I’d like to see more versatility in her looks. Anyone can put on a cute dress, some heels, and a necklace :)

  26. @Sticky-n-Sweet Thanks so much Soror! I know a few from your chapter. Far as the suggestion this is my REAL hair. I am bi-racial so that may be the reason it appears thin to you however there is not much I can do about that this is the hair I was born with I just changed the color. Thanks though. :-)

  27. @Sticky-n-Sweet Thanks so much Soror! I know a few Sorors from your chapter. As far as the advice I am biracial so this is my REAL hair so that may be why it appears thin to you but there is nothing I can do about that this the hair I was born with only thing I did was change the color. Thanks though.

  28. I agree with most comments on here. It would of been nice to look at her everyday styles, but a lot of her “club ware” is cute. I love the colors specially the multi color coat, my favorite.

  29. Finally a Bombshell w. my body type and sense of style! Please tell me this girl has a blog/website?

  30. She has great style but I think she should wear more accessories. A few of her looks could have been ten times better if she added a statement necklace or a hot pair of earrings.

  31. Pause I didn’t mean it in an offensive way I was just speaking on my hair is not thick to the advice of getting better weave. So before you get it twisted “anonymous” slow your roll. I thought it was obvious that’s my real hair. But take it how you want. I set myself up for this judgement. I hope everyone commenting negatively has been featured on here for everyone to judge you as well. I said in my description stick to your style, fashion can be defined in various ways. What works for one may not work for the next. I stay in my own lane and do what I think feel is right to me hate it or love it! Thanks for love & comments.

  32. @Lauren Elise

Your hair DOES NOT look thin. Don’t even address that BULL! Gorgeous girl though! You remind me of my friend Jilly.

  33. She’s wonderful, she’s fab, and she’s from Nashville! Nashville in the HOUSE representing :) I’m from “out E-ssst” myself. :)

  34. Very pretty,i like ur hair,it looks nice. Loving the blue and orange dresses! Ur shape is nice ,u look very polished!

  35. Wack her sorors hyping her style up. It’s basic nothing bombshell about it. Cute for eh eh eh around the club but yes what does her everyday consist of? Mad women look good in dress and heels

  36. She definitely knows what works for her and she pulls it off well. Like the bomb earlier in the week she’s so pretty, darkening the hair would really do her justice. I may be biased, but ethnic women w/blonde hair always reminds of BAPS sorry! And I don’t think her hair looks thin, ppl just are used to see the extra bulk of weave, and forgot how flat natural hair lays to the head.

  37. The body is the best accessory! Nothing too unique about her look, but at least its put together and worn very well! I didn’t care too much for the knock-off Poparazzi earrings. I’ve seen them popping up everywhere!

  38. I like her looks because I am partial to my dress loving ladies. She reminds me so much of Lynn Whitfield.

  39. Not hating at all but it’s just a common look. Nothing really super spectacular about it. If that is her style though then that’s her style, it’s just not for me. However, I would take the hair a shade or 2 darker. That blonde is a little to harsh, especially with the winter months coming up. It needs to be a little richer. The color now kind of washes her out. Overall I give her a C. She is a pretty girl but I wish she would step into her own style…I know that is trying to be different but it really is the same as what everyone else is doing.

  40. All of her looks were dresses. Dont get me wrong they were cute but where is the diversity? Anyone can wear a cute dress but how does that make her stylish?

  41. Do THAT Soror! I’ve been transplanted to Nashville and rarely see such cute style out! Get it chic, I love everything! Cute shape but not overly revealing or tight!

  42. Like other people, I see a really cute girl in really cute dresses (loves the coat!) but I don’t get a sense of her style or individuality per se. I love being inspired by the bombshells but this is the standard going out look in Houston that 40 other girls rock. Since she commented that she submitted more pics, maybe her style was more apparent in the other pics not selected? *shrugs*

  43. She definitely was a bombshell. Matter of fact she was super duper bombshellic. Loved your style Lauren!

  44. Soror, I meant no shade. IF that was a weave, it would have been a thin one, but when its your actual hair, of course there is a difference. I think your looks are fab!

  45. Cute yet very basic. Everyone wears bodycon dresses and heels so I can’t really tell if she has style..that color blocking outfit looks so basic to me. Wouldve looked better with nude pumps. I don’t like being matchy matchy but that’s just me…

  46. @Omgeezy!
When your’re familiar with a brand you can point out subtle nuances. In this case the nuances are so subtle. I can’t see what appears to be amburr alert earrings clear enough to call it, but the others are definitely questionable.

  47. Pretty woman, nice style, but something is very mono about her look. It seems like just one look, no variety!

  48. She looks very ordinary to me. There are thousands of other girls everywhere that dress just like her. There is nothing unique and fashion forward about her style. She looks cute but that’s just it…cute.

  49. @mimi who cares? those poparazzi earrings are so overpriced what’s the point of paying 60 dollars for the same exact thing? they’re not even real gold/silver

  50. Let me start off by saying Skee-Wee soror!!! Very PRETTY GIRL had some hits and misses. I think what some people are saying about anyone can throw on a dress is true and the pictures that were selected I think don’t do her “style” justice you can’t really see it from the dresses. But as stated she did not get to pick the pictures that were used. The studded dress was cute but the overall look was over done the studs on the dress were an accesory alone so the bracelet was not needed nor the red lipstick(please don’t do that again) and the hair should have ben pulled back or up. I like the two pictures towards the end with the one shoulder strap dresses it was simple and complimented her shape. The pink tube was very cute all the others ehhh not so much a compliment to her shape. And I think darker color hair would look great on her, that blonde is not flattering! You win some you loose some but def still some cute looks!

  51. comment section taken over by the sorors.
How is this “not necessarily following fashion trends”?
She looks good but this is just a series of tight dresses and one example of color-blocking. Anyone could have done that.

  52. Wow…lol she must be the ish in the lil town she lives in. All her outfits are blah it’s been done. I don’t see any personality or personal style in any of the outfits, anyone can throw on a dress and heels. Shrugs…next

  53. @Milla if you think $50-$60 is expensive for fashion earrings, child I’d hate for to find out how much REAL GOLD hoop earrings cost. I hope you don’t think its anywhere near 50 bucks!

  54. @knowitall you really DONT know it all. Poparazzi IS overpriced pointblankperiod. They use cheap 5 dollar hoops and 10 dollar beads. If the quality is the same as someone on etsy making them for 25 there’s no point of paying more. Common sense. It’s not like it’s a designer handbag or something. It’s fake fashion jewelry thats trendy NOW.

  55. Now unique fashion jewelry like melody ehsani is worth the money IMO..her stuff is not as easy to duplicate.

  56. VERY BASIC NOTHING NEW OR UNSEEN. CAN WE PLEASE GET SOME INSPIRATIONAL STYLE ON HERE. ALL I SEE IS SAMPLED BASKETBALL WIFE EVELYN, WANNABE BEYONCE 2009 AT GRAMMYS, STACEY DASH KNOCKOFFS. AND NO1 SHOULD BE THE SAME COLOR AS THEIR HAIR! AND COME ON PINK AND ORANGE! IS THAT ALL?! WHERE ARE ALL THE OTHER BRIGHT AND GLITZY COLORS IN THE COLOR SPECTRUM?!?!?!!?!? IS PINK AND GREEN THE ONLY THING?! HOW CLICHE #SOROR SKEEEEEWEEEEEEEE!
