  1. Claire, the instagram name is not listed above. Please update :)

I love this submission. Very classy and colorful. I will be following her blog.

  2. Love her! Very stylish! I could see myself in some of these pieces and those shoes! I gasp! She reminds me of a modern day, “hipped” out Audrey Hepburn. Definitely a bombshell

  3. She kills!!! Been trying to get an interview with her for months! She NEVER responds to emails, but anyway great style! xoxo

  4. Aaaah I love her style!!! I definitely style stalk her, have been for a while lol. But I love how she wears high end but still makes it her own. She doesn’t just by what’s on the mannequin. Also her shoe game is ON POINT. Like I would die to see her closet!!! Absolute bombshell!!

  5. For the people who said not a bombshell, I would love to know who you consider to be a bombshell if not soraya? Just curious.

  6. She has been featured here before I thought. Maybe a couple of years ago. That’s how I found her

  7. I like her style, but I’ve never been in love it. You can still dress like a lady and not look older. Many of her looks don’t represent fresh and new, it’s very I’m trying to seem more older. Her shoe game is for the Gods, her bag game is top notch, and her eyewear is to be admired. I’m not feeling the mountainous amounts of weave she always wears on her head. She’s stylish, but she can dress a little more her age and keep it classy.

  8. I respect her style on’t love it. I agree that some of the looks are a little too matronly. Also, I really dislike seeing bundles and bundles of weave piled onto someones head. It’s so typical and expected. I love bombshells who have beautifully styled natural hair. Just a personal preference. I did vote bombshell though, none of the other options would have been fitting.

  9. She is fierce for her but I don’t like her HUGE WEAVE/WIG and I’m not a fan of most outfits while she does have something special it just doesn’t tickle my fancy.

  10. I voted bombshell. Lemme just add that I am sick this hairstyle. I call it the Kardashian.

  11. She is the baddest. She was featured here before as London Fashion Week style. Ever sine then I’ve been faithfully following her blog. I love it all.
    Blessings

  12. Hmmm….she is very polished (which I like)and seems to have a good eye for color, patterns and diversifying her looks. But, the majority of the looks are a bit “bulky” for my taste. It becomes “costume-y”. For example, that fierce peplum jacket would probably have paired better with tapered pants. The amethyst colored skirt is beautiful. But, I would be interested to see how bulky it looks by her wearing the coat along with it. And, the bubble sleeve dress with the denim jacket over it….Ummm, I don’t know. Basically, I like it, but don’t love it. She still looks cool though. :-)

  13. She looks AMAZING!! I have a question to FB and readers….how do you dress like this everyday? I just don’t get it. I want to look beautiful, but man the heels hurt my wider feet, the tight stuff is uncomfortable (especially in the heat), braids/weave itch so badly, I love luxe but i don’t have $600 + to drop on fly shoes, full makeup everyday breaks me out….am I just not invested enough.. am i doing something wrong :( …or am i reading too much into the fantasy…Alas…does anyone else feel it? IDK

lol…her photos are stunningly beautiful though!

  14. Now this is it..But her look isn’t for everyday wears..where do you go with all this dressed up? Some people really have time on their sleeve!

  15. Bombshell for the heels !
50/50 for the outfits & presentation.
Not a fan for the hair(less is better).
I love the energy around & within her,and that is 100% satisfaction !
The I dare you is there “IF” we are talking of vintage !

Her fashion sense is very hot & red but not for everybody.she tried.

  16. UK, STAND UP!! Soraya did the damn thing! Wicked, wicked, wicked!! I’m inspired and I rarely say that.

  17. *Takes in a sharp breathe* Oh my gosh….I live…. I LIVE!!! THIS is a bombshell! Um WILL be following, WILL be find inspiration!

  18. This chick is AMAZING….. Everything from a good face, to a great shoe, to a ova whole look. . . I really think it will be hard for the next bomb to enter. I will vote as of now for the FASHION BOMB SHELL OF THE YEAR…..BOMB! BOOM! I WANT TO PLAY IN HER CLOSET.

  19. ok how does a student afford this and dress like this everyday. something not right

  20. @MONI she is from Angola and if you know about Angola then you know about the war and those who profited from blood money. rumour has it her that her father or somebody in her family is connected to dirty blood money . hence all these expensive things at the expense of poor Angolans. The girl does not work , will not tell you what she does for a living but wears over $10 000 per outfit. go figures

  21. Ain’t nobody give a damn how she gets money to be able to afford the things she has. Please Chile we are here to dissect her fashion style. You morons are always concerned and worried about how folks get their things, who cares if her pop was involved in some blood diamond sh*t or what not. What interest us if her fashion game.

  22. To me her style screams spoilt rich girl. who goes to school or who dresses like this everyday. Dressed like this on a special day yes. sidenote i have always wondered what she does for a living .

  23. I like it a lot.. It’s something that can’t be duplicated. It seems as though she has truly thought about her personal style, and embraces it. She is original, and I appreciate that. BUT I read all of the comments, and if they are true then it’s very disturbing. As far as “not caring” about how someone gets their clothes and/or not giving a damn about ” blood diamonds” ummmm No. To care so much about clothes, that you don’t care if ppl were killed, starved, etc for it sounds ridiculous ex.those girls who were caught stealing weave. * getcholifeanonymous*

  24. I follow her on IG. I LOVE her style. I like the idea of being slightly overdressed everywhere you go. Call me obnoxious! Ha! The formal, fussy, fru fru is super fly and gives an “unbothered” appeal to wearing sky high heels. 2 things I’d change…she wears colored contacts every day and I think it’s a little tacky. I don’t mind the hair style like many others, but maybe 4 oz less hair would give it some subtlety.

  25. Why make someone else’s money your business? Let the girl and her coins be! After all….even if you had FULL disclosure on her finances, yours remain the same.

  26. What are you guys screaming about? She dresses like shes headed to a horse race or tea party. Unrealistic outfits and oversized clothing that swallows her. She has maybe 4 packs of weave piled on her head. I think her shoes are wonderful, but she looks like shes having tea with the queen everyday. All hype, please stop blowing up this womans head. Less is more might I add.

  27. @mmmmmmh if someones money is responsible for villages and innocent people to be hurt , i need to know. whats interest me more is the women behind the clothes , who is she as a person. i have followed her blog i do not find her authetic at all. All the glam bloggers that wear designers like glamurai , song of style even Claire they work hard all have jobs , businesses on the side and have disclosed their educational backgrounds. i am impressed by hardworking women that make their own money. This girl on the other hand is carrying a $16000 hermes bag, no job to be heard of. No schooling in sight though she claims to be a student, which i do not believe. lets all be honest any normal human being will start wondering what kind of business is she really in. And taking in consideration she is from Angola and living large in the Uk people from there will tell you stories of how these so called rich Angolans make their money. it will break your heart. so in other words in this modern day of human rights violations. Questions need to be asked. is it okay for another human being to suffer for a pair of red bottoms

  28. eh. i couldn’t get into her looks…. her dreadful hair aside….her looks were 50/50…some costumy

  29. Her style is really interesting , like a magazine shoot. for everyday wear not sure. So for all the people saying her money is her business maybe so but just google stories of the Angolans elite and how they got rich and read stories of everyday Angolans. Very sad.

  30. I have seen this young lady for a while as well and I’m willing to bet money that she has been featured somewhere on FBD. I find 99% of the Black bloggers I know from this site. As for bombshell status. I’m torn. On the one hand it’s an obvious win. She has all of the right trappings in all of the right places. She certainly has a unique flair and a polished eye for details. Yet, I have always had the same concerns as others here (1) the hair. Its kinda awful. I don’t think a sister *has* to be natural to be fly, but diversity is really important. A short bob, a long curly wig, hell even a ponytail every now and again would go a long way towards opening up her looks. (2) the excessive luxury items. Not only is the Angolan connection really hard to swallow. As someone else said – there is an air of ‘spoiled little rich girl’ here that is not accessible and reeks of pretentious shallow-ness.

Ultimately, you can’t NOT vote her Bombshell I guess because the other categories just don’t fit. But if there was a 6th option that said. ‘Kind of a bombshell, puts clothes together well, but has an air of pretentiousness and lack of diversity that overshadows her impeccable style in clothes” I’d SO vote that. ;-)

  31. I went through her blog and was amazed by how beautiful she is without make up when she did her free make up pics.

Girl pls drop the foundation you are using,Truth be told your make up makes you look HOPELESSLY UGLY & VERY OLD COMPARE TO THE PIC WITHOUT IT !
I WAS FORCED TO ASK MY FRIENDS IF THEY THINK YOU WERE THE SAME PERSON & THEIR ANSWER WAS “NO” !!!!!!
Pls stop abusing that very very beautiful face of yours with cement like foundation !
I can’t believe you are same person with your hair wrapped in white towel & the fresh face.that face without your whatever you use on it was BREATHE TAKING .So beautiful

    MY GOD !!!
    What were you thinking ?
    God have mercy !
Put that hair in ponytail, change your foundation, get clothes that are your size, pls pls & pls is time to fall out of love with that “HAT”,start cheating on the hat, drop your faithfulness & loyalty to d hat & move on,find something else as your signature wear.

Stop hiding your face with massive weave.
The foundation is not your match.

  32. Like a few others, I voted bombshell because no other category would fit. My issues: he hair’s tooooo much, and there’s absolutely no variety. And a couple of the outfits are too bulky.
    But hot individual pieces.

  33. She is a bombshell!!! Probably one if the best bombshells we have probably seen in a while. She is actually a student, she also works as a stylist and that’s how she makes her money. Would do you guys always have to say something negative? So just because she is Angolan she has to be connected with “blood money”? Why do you guys always have to give back handed compliments to someone you deep down deserves and meets all the requirements of what it is to be a bombshell? And then you guys want to talk about her hair like you guys don’t see the same weave or a hairstylist on instagram who does exactly the same style on one of their clients and leave comments like “OMG!! I want that hair or I need to book an appointment”. So please have several sits!!! If you don’t want to give credit where credit is due then shut the hell up. Passing judgements and ish. Why don’t you guys attempt to submit your own pictures? It’s her personal style and she looks FABULOUS from head to toe. WERK!!!

  34. All types of amazing, I heard ya, I have no critiques at all . Love everything I see. Even the shoes! Shoegame’s on! I voted Bombshell!!

  35. OMG!!!!! BOMBSHELL!!! Her pictures seriously looks like they could be out of a fashion magazine. Great photography. So inspiring!!! It’s been a while since I have seen a Bombshell feature that tickled me soooooo good. Her style is classic and very inspiring. Her hair and shoes are Fab!! This just goes to show you that ladies don’t have to expose everything to look sexy!!! AMAZING!!

  36. Why are some of you saying her clothes are too big? Unless some of you are blind, her clothes fit her perfectly. Clothes do not always have to be that bodycon fit in order for it to fit. I love that she lives like she is on some invisible runway. Lol. And she carries herself very well. Comfortable in her own skin and her own style. You guys do not necessarily have to gravitate towards all her outfits but all these extra negative comments you guys are putting up be doing the most. You are featured on here to show your personal style. Get it!!??!!! Ya’ll know she is a bombshell though. Ya’ll just hating *flips hair on her behalf* She is so glamorous. Bombshell yes indeed!!!!

  37. Black women are so jealous of each other, they refuse to give credit where credit is due. And we’re so used to being broke/fly on a dime/champagne taste on a beer budget/always looking for knockoffs, that when you see someone who can afford runway, you have to start counting her coins or making wild accusations (blood money, really?).
Why can’t we just be like…she’s dope? Yeah, I wish I had her shoes. Maybe I’ll work hard to get some myself instead of constantly crying broke or getting mad at her for having them. Let’s do better.
Oh, and she’s dope. NO question.

  38. I love her mix of style. It is indeed fashionable. People today need to realize fashion does not necessarily revolve around Lycra. Beautiful and well pulled together lady.

  39. take it or leave it. soaraya is not only a bombshell but bombshell of the year. we should learn to give credit where its due. judging is for the lord, stop the hate.

  40. I hardly comment on this site, but I had to today. Its OBVIOUS that some people who commented have some serious HATE( I loathe this word but its apt in this case) for this girl. So because she comes from Angola she has to be linked to human rights violations? Do we investigate the bombshells featured to find out their means of livelihood? This is so sad that we need to pull down people just to feel good about ourselves. Soraya pls don’t let some of the comments faze you. Keep on doing you.

  42. 100% Bombshell. I follow her blog, and she’s completely overdone and overdressed, but its done so effortlessly that i can’t help but love it.

  43. i usually just read the comments and dont comment anymore… but I must say @2 Cents… well said!!!! u said counting coins… lol this is sooo true. but on her style note.. not my cup of tea

  44. how people always turn fashion conversations into gossips and hate always puzzles me.soraya’s style is the bomb.com very unique and edgy just the way we like it.I would also love less hair on her as well.her shoe game is always winning.voted bombshell, duh!!

  45. The outfits just don’t seem like everyday wear. She should have submit clothing when she’s heading to school, hanging out, and going to events. I feel like she was doing a photo shoot for a magazine, it just didn’t seem realistic. I like her style, but it doesn’t seem affordable or realistic for everyday wear. She’s not the fashion bomb in my book, but she’s still stylish. Everyone’s talking about her hair and I must agree that it is a little too much, and the blue contacts gotta go. I’m disturbed by how some of us want to know how she makes money to buy luxury items, but I really feel it’s not our business. She’s fly,but not my kind of fly.

  46. I kinda love her style. She very the June Ambrose of the UK. June ,dresses like Soraya, basically everyday and I never hear or read people complain about how June can pull her looks off on the daily.

And just because we don’t know the intimate details of this young ladies life, are we to assume that she got/gets to live this lifestyle because of negativity? Ya’ll are late as dog shit for that one!!

You heathens need a long ass nap!!

Let people live their lives…she is not harming anyone by having the finer things in life. Until you have FACTS about her doing the things you all are accusing her of….#Blah go lay down.

Let people live their lives…she is not harming anyone by having the finer things in life. Until you have FACTS about her doing the things you all are accusing her of….#Blah go lay down.

  48. WOW let us pray for some of the people in the comments smh she looks well put together all the way around and yall still find something to spew hate about. Not everyone wants to be natural and not everyone wants to shop at thrift stores. Let her be an individual, her style and your style doesn’t have to be the same for her to a bombshell.

  49. I’ve been following @styleismything on instagram for a long time now.Her style is FABULOUS! her looks are so put together and she layers well. I have NEVER ever thought about what she does and how she makes her money, because it is NONE of my business. This is a fashion blog, not a place for you to dig for her source of income. Either appreciate or keep it moving.

The ignorance of people is also so amazing, so every rich affluent Angolan must be connected to blood money? really?

Work hard for your own money and stop worrying about how other people make theirs

  50. yaass hunty she did that ! all pieces were on point loved her incorporation of prints, textures and bold colours. She also added classic pieces eg: chambray and lady-like pumps ..u go girl
