Hey Hey!
Today island girl Julesia from St. Vincent courageously submitted her Fashion Bombshell worthy photos:

In her short e-mail she said she was a fashion designer, but didn’t include a link to her website or include pictures of her garments.

Perhaps we can assume she’s wearing her own designs?
Who knows.
Julesia leave a comment and tell us more!
Until then, what do you think of her style?

  1. I always have a hard time critiquing the island gals because there are so few options available (i.e. vintage, designer, forever 21) to make a killer wardrobe. The salmon and blue dress is my favorite. Kudos to her if she made any of the pieces featured.

  2. The pink and purple dress with the dramatic ponytail and green nails looks nice. I also like the ponytail in the 2nd pic with the side part…assuming that’s a braid hanging down the side and not a purse strap. The 3rd pic…is that a wristlette? The 3rd and 4th pics :(
I will say I admire her bravery/confidence to send her pics in, as I do all fashion bombshells!

  3. I like the coral and purple dress with the slicked back ponytail, everything else not so much.

  4. im assuming its quite warm over there. i live in a cold area so this is a nice que to what i could wear on vaycay!

    go girl

fashion bomb doesnt mean just haute, i think it can also apply to makin the most of what you have and putting an effort in. theres room for oll. categorize people, categorize!

  5. @ the truth… the internet is worldwide hun so trust, Island girls don’t have “limited” choices for fashion. expand your horizons hunny.

as for the fashion bomb, she looks cute. i like the purple dress a lot but the rest of the fashions are pretty much mediocre to me. keep doing your thing though.

  6. Cute! I love that she wears clothing that flatter her shape & she is not afraid of color! Some of her pieces aren’t exactly my style, but she does wear what she has on well! And nobody can hate on her for that!

  7. STOP SAYING ISLANDERS HAVE LIMITED CHOICES! PLZ STOP IT!

MANY OF US TRAVEL AND BEST BELIEVE THAT F21 CLOTHES ARE SOLD IN STORES IN PLACES SUCH AS JAMAICA. PEOPLE BRING THE CLOTHES AND SELL THEM HERE. EVEN FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT TRAVEL THEY CAN BUY CLOTHES AND MAKE IT THEIR OWN STYLE.

THIS GIRL IS JUST ONE OF MILLIONS OF ISLAND GIRLS AND THIS IS AN AMERICAN WEBSITE SO MANY OF THE FASHIONABLE PEOPLE MAY NOT EVEN BE AWARE OF THIS SITE AS YET OR HAVE NOT SENT IN PICS THAT SHOW A WIDER VARIETY OF FASHION THAT IS WORN IN THE ISLANDS….

    ON TO THE PICS….

I like the pieces individually and she looks cute however her style is very simple. She should try taking more risk with her approach to putting her outfits together.

  8. big ups to st vincent my home country
this girl is rocking what she has on well u already know the island girls do da damn thang
    go girl

  9. Heyyyyyyy my island of St. Vincent =)
Shoo…now I have to send in some photos of the wonderful ladies in my family.

  10. and i agree, all island women shouldn’t be stereotyped because of the few that lack style.

  11. Julesia looks wonderful. I wouldn’t be surprised if she made those outfits. Most high schools in the islands require students to learn sewing, knitting, and designing. I think it’s a stereotype that “island girls” have limited choices in terms of fashion. There are plenty of fashionable boutiques available on most islands with a variety of clothing from name brand to local designers.

  12. *yawns 5x*
    Shes a fashion designer =/
    I expected alot more
you might want to reconsider your major honey

  13. Just because she lives in st.vincent doesn’t mean she has a limited amount of clothes! Just because there isn’t a forever21 or an american eagle or whatever doesn’t mean there’s nothing to wear! It’s a little rude to say there’s nothing good to find in the islands to wear! Style is style not based on the amount of designer clothing in your closet. you can have $1 in your pocket and still have style!! Does that make sense? hmmm…

  14. Her style anything I have’nt seen before, I do like a few of her outfits like that Coral and Purple dress and the dress she’s wearing in the last picture.

  15. wow this is my first time reading the comments on this type of post and I must say some of you find it so easy to judge. Let’s see you send in pictures of what you wear and see if you like the comments other people make about you.
She is a beautiful girl who looks nice. So what if you don’t like it or would not wear it. Don’t be so damn cruel when speaking of someone who probably read what is written.

  16. I’m not a fan of the 3rd and 4th outfit but everything else gets a pass. Love the coral & purple dress. Good to finally see someone repping from my home country ;) Keep doing your thing.
