So I gotta admit: I’m suffering from a bit of Fashion Week ennui.
While I want to go to shows (fun!), going takes me away from blogging. I’ll learn to strike a balance, but for now, I’m happy as a clam to be home, typing away!
At any rate, the weekend allows for a bit more flexibility, and on Sunday, I hit up LaQuan Smith’s presentation (wasn’t it fabulous?).

I kept my look casual and somewhat comfortable in a Neil Barret Modernist Sweatshirt and a Peter Pilotto skirt.

My feet have been in lots of pain with the Louboutins, so I wore my Giuseppe Zanotti lace ups, and kept the red going with a Carbon Showroom perspex clutch.

Red lips and I was ready to take in some shows!

At any rate, I’ll get back on the horse tomorrow! Until then, I’ll be blogging away and continuing to tweak the site.

  1. Claire, I beg of you….PLEASE change this layout. I know you’ve been seeing the comments about it being confusing, slow and cluttered. There’s so much going on and readers don’t know where to focus their attention. I’m a big fan and I would hate for you to lose fans behind this change. I understand you want something new and innovative but this isn’t working. Love this outfit by the way! lol

  2. It is crazy to me that this outfit is comprised of separates from two different designers! Very nice blend.

  3. You look great, Claire! Definitely one of your best looks, for me!
As for the site…Yes, it takes some getting use to, but I like it! It has a Luxe feel compared to the old site. Everyone else needs to take a deep breath and get over it. A few tweaks here and there..maybe, but I certainly would not go back to the old format simply because people are too lazy to figure out something new and adjust to change. You all sound like my grandma! Lol

  4. @monica J and @Freedom Lee ditto! I love this look! Those Giuseppe lace-ups are my FAVE!!

As for the site, I’m feeling it. Since you’ve replaced the subsections and put everything into the blog section, it’s definitely gotten rid of the confusing element for me. The site feels fresh and up-to-date! Great work, Claire! <3

  5. Sorry…the red is a bit too much for every piece…skirt, top, purse. I also feel that a different top would be more flattering to your physique. On the flip side, your face and hair are always flawless!

  6. The fact that you matched that sweatshirt and that skirt together to the point that it looks like it’s a full on suit, shows just how much of a fashion expert you are! Amazing look!

  7. hey claire,
great look! how did you get your calves so toned and scuplted? and do you use a certain skin regime? your skin is so flawless!

    thanks in advance!
