Hey Guys!
This week’s second Bombshell and next contestant to enter our J Brand Bombshell Jeans Giveaway is Sydney from Brooklyn:

The student at Wesleyan University describes herself as, “A self-proclaimed adventuress, seeker of meaning, and world traveler.”

“…I have always tried to dress simply, chicly and sweetly…”

“… utilizing style accents from around the globe.”

This is Sydney’s second turn as a Bombshell. She participated in the feature as a high school senior two years ago (wow, we’ve been doing Bombshells for two years?!?). See her style evolution by clicking here. She also has a tumblr at www.wildyounghearttt.tumblr.com . Check her out and let us know what you think!

Fashion Bombshell of the Day is a feature that showcases the singular style of Fashion Bomb Readers. Send your name, location, a description of your style, and your picture(s) to th************@gm***.com.

  1. i love it….i loved her before and i still do…very cute…simple? yes, but far from boring:-)

  2. She described her style to a “T”. Simple, Sweet and Chic. I like her stlye. Simple but not boring..she still shows that she has some style to her. Cute Looks!

  3. I love it. I think the florals are too cute and perfect for the Spring. The floral dress and blazer are a winning combo. I appreciate the fact that your look is not oversexed but still something that would catch one’s attention. Your hair is beautiful and your look is classic.

  4. I think she looks absolutely fab. Her style seems to speak to an eclectic array of girls and that is so key in maintaining a realistic and chic sense of style. I think that she looks far from basic, generic, and is absolutely gorgeous. I mean, c’mon, who would pair the femininity of that dress with the business-like nature of that blazer!
You go girl. Work it, you’re beautiful and keep doing what you’re doing!

  5. Cute, but after looking at her old photos her style hasn’t evolved at all. I like the floral pieces, but there’s no variety here.

  6. I really like this bombshell, and I think these new pictures show that her style has matured and will continue to develop as she matures. Go Brooklyn! :)

  7. The partial updo in the jeans pic is very Ronnie Spector – awesome! The black heels are a gorgeous and interesting design, mind giving up the maker? The cut and print on the black dress is chic and sexy and I heart the frilly sleeve and love the addition of the skinny belt (or am I blind?).

You’re a beautiful bombshell, just no fashion bombshell in my humble opinion. These pics showcase more a decently styled, average person on the street, though your print selections are pretty and even more so as blousy sheers. Nothing comes off as mass-produced, overly trendy or hideously mismatched though the brown belt with the dress was an awful idea, the jacket however was a nice, crisp contrast. Very pretty smile. Thx FB!

  8. Only four pics? That’s really not enough to tell about her style. Very cute girl, though–reminds me of Kerry Washington :D

  9. Not impressive. She looks like she buys everything at F21. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with that but I feel like to be a bombshell you need to bring unique elements to your style.
