  1. Your style is nice….but I am more pleased with your confidence. You don’t hide you are even if some people want you too.

  2. yummy – I like! And I see you rocking that Micheal Kors bag…have had my eye on it for quite a while. It is clear that you are a lady who loves yourself and life and not afraid to dress/live fearlessly…

  3. Make up artist. Has a very bad attitude for some unknown reason?!! Tre she doesn’t hide anything, you should see what she wears for Halloween

  4. U kno what????? I like!! I do! Her personality come across in her fits. She takes trends that are out but makes them her own. She’s wearing the clothes, they don’t wear her..Just take those glasses off honey..

  5. Hmm. I’m on the fence about this. I love the look with the leopard dress/sequin skrit/bow tie and a few of the other looks. However, I don’t think the tight pants and leggings are flattering. It takes away from the look, longer skirts and skirts with tights suit you best.

  6. I love her use of color and love the shoes. Would love to know where the leopard mary jane is from. It reminds me of a show Michael Kors has out now.
I would love to see you w/a toned down hair color. I think this shade of blonde takes away from your beautiful face. I think a less straight pant would like awesome on her also.

  7. Wow I feel like I should hate this but I love it! Maybe like everybody said it’s the confidence and that smile of yours doesn’t hurt either.

  8. I like mostly all of your fits but when you take pics be mindful to show every angle and judging from these pics I see that you favor your left side. I would love to see the front of some of your outfits chick!!!

  9. She has a lot of trendy pieces. Cute girl tho. I would’ve liked to see a straight on photo…why are all her shots are from the side?

  10. Love it! Great confidence, it shines through in your pics. And love the pops of color and leopard.

  11. SHE’S WORKIN’ EACH AND EVERY LOOK… AS A CURVY GIRL MYSELF…I HAVE AND WOULD WEAR EVERY LOOK SHE HAS DISPLAYED…. I LOVE IT… ##CURVY & CONFIDENT!!! #DOUBLETROUBLE

  12. I tried to comment earlier let’s see if it works now!

I love her use of color and love the shoes. Would love to know where the leopard mary jane is from. It reminds me of a show Michael Kors has out now.

  13. meh. I’m not really a fan. I hate the jeggings. Also that leopard skirt is really short and those pink strappy shoes cut of the your legs.

  14. Iove her style and confidence..but amazes me that people are on here saying you should stick to longer skirts and tights fits best for her, how are you going tell somebody what best fits them.. People are so Harsh!!!

  15. I loving her confidence, but not feeling most of the outfits. The fits are not all flattering. I don’t like jeggings for one, but thin jeggings on curvy girls don’t do us justice. I think she trying to be really trendy which doesn’t help her pick her pick clothes that showcase her body and best of light. She a beautiful girl, but some of the outfits don’t do much for her.

  16. Very pretty face and decent weave game. However you are very bottom heavy, almost very awkwardly bottom heavy. It’s like youre a size 12 on top and a 18 on the bottom. It has been proven time and time again that ankle straps do not look on women who have heavy legs, it gives them this log leg look . All of your skirts should cover your knees because your legs are very heavy. Invest in some under garments for your bottom areas that can smooth out the lumps and bumps. You have trendy pieces, and yes it would help to drop a good 20 to 30 pounds so that your bottom would match the top half of your body. Very pretty face.

  17. The blond hair subtracts from her fashion style. I like the clothes but the hair color is no bueno.

  18. I did not like all the looks, but I think the majority of the time she looks darn good for a woman her size. I am sure she will be an inspiration for bigger girls who do not think they can have a fly style.

I will agree that because she is so bottom heavy jeggings are not her friend. Tailored trousers would be better suited to this body type. Otherwise, pretty woman with a very cool style. Keep it up!

  19. i agree with BIKROSE 100% preety lady. Girlfriend claims she knows her body and what works. i beg to differ, No Maam. For a stylist i am disappointed that she doesnt know her ABC of fashion. When you are bottom heavy A line skirts work better because they bring balance to the body and not emphasize on the heaviest part of your body. Legging , jeggings on bottom heavy girls do not work. Only a few women can carry off this trend, if the gym is not your friend dont bother putting them on unless if your shirt is long enough to cover your thighs and bums. So some outfit pieces were cute the tight unflattering bottoms took the wow out of this. girl invest in some quality pants. trust me stay away from these tights pants and skirts below the knees. cute girl though.

  20. Damn she is beautiful !!!!!! Style and swag is most def on point. Just 1 day of being featured is not enough…she deserves the whole week!!!!! My fav look is with the pink blazer. Houston stand up!!!

  21. please invest in “spanx” or “shapers” for the lower half of your body. Invest in “A” line skirts because they will cover your thick ankles and legs. You have a flat stomach so you can still wear really pretty tops. Leggings are not your bestfriend unless they are black and can slim down your legs. If you don’t listen to anything I just said, just invest in a couple of good spanx please.

  22. I like but outfits need better fit. Blkrose’s comment was a little harsh but has a little truth in it.

  23. I love how everyone describes overweight women with the audacity to wear tight clothing that accentuates all negative aspects of their bodies as “confident”. The blonde hair is awful and PLEASE burn those jeggings!

  24. She looks a little like Evelyn Lozada in the face *giggles*
    Idk about them outfits though…

  25. Love the shoes. I voted some hits some misses. I think she should stay away from tight jeans. Cute girl nonetheless.

  26. Time and time again we always somehow get to the weight issue this is about fashion not weight, nobody needs to change anything. If u like the way u look then embarace it but make sure u respect yourself as well by wearing the proper clothing that flatter your body. It’s clear u love ur legs Noel and thats fine but don’t let the skirts get to tight and to short. :-)

  27. beautiful smile…love the confidence too. would have loved to see some variation in the look. maybe some looser fits as well.

  28. what a lovely smile :) you ooze positivity

and it shows in the bright colours that you like to wear

    werk!

for the rude people here. you have the right to not like her style.
but you attacking her is just nasty and mean.

i wish i had more positive people like noel around me instead of crass tarts like you

  29. Ok…I love the looks. She looks very much like a Miami Girl so she automatically has my vote. I must admit that I am going to steal that denim look. If you feel comfortable in your skin and clothes then work it out. Inquiry: Where did you get those red sandals?

  30. Pretty girl? Yes, but this is not about beauty. I hate when the focus is on looks/weight/skin tone. Her shoes are nice but she isn’t aware of her body. This is about “fashion and style” and great style is knowing what works for “you” and she doesn’t based on these photos.

  31. I just love this beautiful girl with a wonderful style.. You have a bright future in the fashion world

  32. thank u latanya!! people are focusing on beauty, these posts are about fashion.. not how “pretty” or “unpretty” this person is, yes, she’s beautiful imo, but if she wasn’t would that take away from what she’s wearing? cute pieces.. that is all.

  33. the shoe game is TIGHT… but some of those outfits are not flattering for someone of her size. I admire her confidence, but she should also know her limitations.

  34. I think you look great! It’s funny how everyone’s giving you suggestions on how to make your body shape look like what is “suppose” to be “ideal”. Truth is, everyone is not shaped the same, nor should you feel like you have to be. Who cares if you’re top heavy, bottom heavy or whatever, embrace it! Your figure and shape is just as relevant as the next chick’s.

  35. GRACE, I alsoTRIPLE Cosign on your comment. That bothers me all the time… Not fan of Voluptous woman in skin tight clad clothing. Either way Noel is beautiful! Leopard top outfit my fave.

  36. My mother is a big woman. During, her younger years she enjoyed a black tight dress. To pull it off she always put on the proper foundation and checked the hem line. Take note:)

  37. Now to all of the comments the good, the bad, and the DISGUSTING..firstly thanks for the comments and the hate secondly it is even an honor to be featured on this amazing website! So to those who made extremly awful comments it doesnt phase me because my face is on here and yours is hiding behind a computer screen…Let me address a couple of things Firstly this is a fashion blog yes everyone is entitled to their opinion and i dont expect everyone to understand my style if you like it great if you dont cool that i will forever be me..This is a FASHION BLOG so therefore my weight has absolutley nothing to do with this post so for those comments from individuals who decided to put i need to loose weight needs to find another hobby because this CURVACIOUS chick is staying true to who i am and its sad that we live in a society to where all people can say out of their mouths is garbage and not try to understand the fact that everyone isnt going to be a size 2,4,6 or 8,..and i take very good care of my body so my blonde hair wearing curvacious body having is here to STAY!!! To all of the fabulous individuals who showed appreciation i love you all and thank you for not being judgmental and go check out my Blog!! Luckily i have tough skin so this will do nothing but have me keep pushing to break barriers!!! Thanks again xoxo!!!

  38. It’s sad that you feel that you were attacked becaus eof your size, you were told to smooth out the lumps and bumps and get better fitting pants. The truth hurts, so of course you will walk around thinking your thick(not the case) and wear clothing that do not flatter the bottom half of your body.We all have flaws honey! and that is also for women who are smaller like myself. You can live in denial, but the bottom half of your body needs to slim down or wear a better pants and burns those leggings. It’s your body! so be our guest to walk around looking half way decent. Improve and stop living in la la land.

  39. @blkrose ha your so funny again your opinion is irrelevant to me such hate fathems me sooo again i will continue to be me and all the other sits to the side.. and the funny thing is you dont know me nor my lifestyle so therefore its funny that u think i have an issue or have a reason to be in denial but again thanks for speaking of me! so funny im not even going to take the time to go back and forth with you, not worth my time hunny so therefore im not going to take advice from someone whos main focus is to put someone down do something better with your energy hunny find a hobby!!

  40. I think your look works for you, and coming from another plus sized diva, I think you wear your clothes well. You are gorgeous and very fashionable. Kudos to you!

  41. I love Noel’s sense of confidence!
I was a plus size teen, and I never had this kind of confidence back then, sad to say.

Noel’s confidence is what makes her stand out! Oh, and the leopard collection? absolutely gorgeous!

  42. I’ve posted this girl on my tumblr countless number of times. and everytime she has gotten so much love. I absolutely adore her style. Her shoe game is fabulous, and her style as a whole I love. so Noel my dear…*2 snaps*

  43. There is nothing wrong with being in love with your curves, but there is something wrong when your clothing doesn’t fit you properly. I have mixed feelings about her style, but she does seem to rock it with confidence. I wouldn’t be caught dead in what she wears, but it does make her happy. fashion bomb? nope!

  44. Umm, seriously .. What is wrong with your “bottom half?” Because all I see curves. Curves, that plenty of “skinny or thin” people get butt shots, butt pads, and several surgeries to achieve. Girlll, you better work and don’t worry about these other people who love to bring people down. FASHION, isn’t about always dressing for your size. It’s about taking risks & there will be some hits or misses in other peoples opinion. But you still give them respect for being theirselves & staying true to who they are. And with that, I’m done!

  45. HAHA! Do these people not read? She said she LIKES defying what “standards” people think plus-size women should adhere to! If we were all so concerned about flattering, we’d never take fashion risks! I *personally* agree that flattering your shape is important, but nowhere is she looking inappropriate. And believe it or NOT, *some* men absolutely love a woman her size in some tight skinnies. All my ex-bfs have preferred leggings than jeans on me.

*Disclaimer: I am plus size myself, so this advice is coming from a place of understanding and goodwill*
As a 16/18, who is bottom heavy (as someone said, “awkwardly” so- ha!), I would advise: yes, the thinner the pant, the more imperfections you will expose. That is up to you, but they will detract from the smooth look jeggings aim for. Shop Lane Bryant for gorgeous skinny twill pants. They feel like sweats but fit like a superthick legging or a sturdy yet soft skinny jean. I get NOTHING but compliments on them, they come in at the waist so no awkward gap effect, and they are very slimming.

The problem with the poofy miniskirt is that it obscures your shape. *If* showing off your shape is important to you, take note: the short skirt shoes off your legs but it obscures your hips, butt and thighs. Because it poofs all the way out, it makes you appear wider than you are. I would suggest, when going for the poof, either go very A-line a la Carrie Bradshaw, or a very very fine tulle that hangs more.

Shoes are proper- forget the naysayers- shoes are PROPER.

I personally would love a slightly cropped blazer on you. Structures the entire body, draws eyes toward your shapely curves without exposing them all. If you have a cute bustier underneath it will show off your bust and small waist.

And to the loser who suggested losing weight– this is about her CURRENT look and current style. So what, should she hide in the house in A-line skirts (seriously?) and trousers all the time? She’s young and skinny jeans are in. Would you tell an extremely thin person to wear a lot of rosette and drapery and ruching to create the illusion of curves? Uhh- I think not.

Sorry this came off so rantey but commenters on this site can be so unnecessarily harsh and unrealistic. Do your thing, girl!

  46. I totally agree with you smiless, this lady is stylish and has a very sweet smile:)
i love your style, thanks Clair for always chosing different shapes and sizes of fashion loving people, it just shows that we should celebrate people and not look at the negatives because u need a whole lot of energy to get to a good place with negative people around, so big up to u sweet face for being u and celebrating u.

  47. I see alot of hater who are U.W.S. (Unhappy with self)on this site! Go Head GIRL! WERK!!! Most of the ppl with negative comments are the main ones taken note of your style and probably wearing one of your outfits as we speak! THUNK!!!

  48. I think she’s absolutely gorgeous and i love her fashion. Curves are beautiful and she has them in all the right spots , and of course men love them , lol . Keep doing you hun : )

  49. There is nothing wrong with being curvy, but there is something wrong with being lumpy. Black people need to stop worshiping fat. I think she dresses okay, but i do get a stripper feel from her.

  50. I like it & everyone who has something to say how about u submit some photos! Instead of sitting at home judging everyone else!! Don’t be a HATER all your life!!
