We’re ending this week with T Dot stylista, Melissa from Toronto:

She says, “I am a personal style blogger at lavie-amonavis.blogspot.com.”

“I wouldn’t say that I have a particular style, sometimes I like to be a bit edgy…”

“… and sometimes a bit more casual…”

” It all depends on my mood…”

“… but no matter what it’s always chic.”

” Now that it’s the fall/winter season, I can’t wait to add some chunky knits, cool jackets, and riding boots to my wardrobe.”

Gorgeous photography! Gimme that leather sleeve jacket!

  1. Her hair/wig/weave is way too distracting to get to the outfits. But when you eventually get there, nothing fashion bombshell worthy.

  2. It’s great to have some truly well-dressed people represent Toronto so thank you. I thought her looks were well put together and you can tell there was some thought behind each piece- however I didn’t aspects of personal style here.. but what do i know.

  3. Horrible hats and lifeless hair. I hate when women wear weave for the heck of it. That hair does not enhance her appearance and actually makes her look unkempt. No curl no body just a flat wig slapped on top of her head. Make an effort and her outfits aren’t great. She has some nice pieces but nothing looks good together or cohesive.

  4. Cute girl! There is still room for her to keep growing and improving but for some people that just comes with maturity and experience.

  5. when you have an international bombshell, i always know we are up for a treat. @loni take a sit honey and take note of fashion.

  6. @ Loni I immediately though Miss Celie with the hats

I’m just not sure. I like several pieces just not in love with how they’re put together. She needs some bracelets or something. Something is missing.

  7. Toronto in the house. I love that you capture the beautiful autumn season (been warm these last few days).

    It’s a nice casual style.

  8. ummm… i see where she wanted to go w/ this…unfortunately, she didn’t get very far! it’s not horrible though.

  9. These wigs are not good at all, her style is ok not horrible. But please stop with the hair it is not your friend baby girl.

  10. its true the purpose of a weave is to avoid heat damage or damage to your hair. you can curl itten times a day flat iron ten times a day and dont have to worry abut anything. But that weave looks like a tornado. Those curls looks like bird nest.

  11. Cute girl- I like the first two outfits a lot. I agree that the hair takes away from her beauty instead of adding to it. Perhaps a chic bob or natural look (depending on her tastes) would let her face and clothes do the talking. Unless she wants to hide behind her hair— some people do. Fly girl, nonetheless.

  12. I found myself far too distracted by many disheveled hairstyles to even be able to appreciate her looks. Much like the hair, her looks leave quite a bit to be desired and really are nothing inspiring or special.

  13. I loved her looks chic and simple… lets pay more attention to the positive. This not curlynikki.com why are we critiquing hair? #ImJusySayin

  14. Toronto? More like the GTA suburbs. Her style is cute, chic and Canadian (typified by the leather ‘fit on the trail). Sending Melissa love from Montreal.

  15. *sigh* super cute girl, cute outfits and accessories …………….. but when will ladies learn that sloppy, bad,or old weave, wig, lase front, or sew in will absolutely KILL the whole look……………. cute girl non the less

  16. Cute girl, pretty decent style, terrible hair. But I give her credit for her crisp, clean submission photos. After all that blurriness and Instagram hell we had to go through, this was a very pleasant change.

  17. Good to see Toronto in the building but unfortunately nothing real special about this look seen it all before moving on srry girl

  18. I think she’s cute and so is her style, but I must agree that the long weave must go. It could be worse though. It could be blonde. lol

  19. She needs a little polishing, her thoughts were good but didn’t come across well put together……. all in all she needs to pull it together a little bit neater.

  20. Nice to see a fellow T dot, blogger. I like how simple, and chic it is. However, continue to work on polishing your look further. Have a nice day everyone.

  21. meh. nothing attention grabbing, nothing horrible. like others have said, the hair is distracting.
