We’re taking our Bombshell feature down south with Kimberlee from Raleigh, North Carolina:

She says, “I’m a curvy girl [and] a lover of all things fashion and beauty.”

“… I would describe my style as “classic with an edge.””

” I love my clothing to have a tailored and polished look, but I like to add an “edge” by incorporating embellishments, color, or prints.”

” I started my blog and YouTube channel as a way to document my style evolution.”

“… I enjoy finding ways to add a fashionable touch to my overall simple looks.”

” I am always open to new concepts, as long as I remain true to my personal sense of style, and of course, have fun.”

“Please check out my blog at www.thenaturalfashionista.blogspot.com.”

“Thanks for your consideration.”

You’re cute as a button, and I love your hair! I also appreciate your use of color and accessories.

  1. Claire you took the words right out of my mouth, she as cute as a button indeed and i love the hair…..Love the outfit with the MK belt, my face :)

  2. I think the word curvy should really be retired because it is almost always used incorrectly as is the case here.

  3. she reeeallly knows how to dress her body! the only outfit I didn’t love was the shorts..maybe it was the pose but they look a little ill fitting. Other than that love love love!!

  4. Love. She is a beautiful curvy woman with style. Her clothes fit her nicely. This is the way it should be done!

  5. Love. She is a beautiful curvy woman with style. Her clothes fit her nicely. This is the way it should be done!

  6. I love her style and natural hair! I follow her blog and she’s always so effortlessly chic! Great pick, Claire! My fav of the submitted looks would be the green and black look.. but I love them all!

    Roni

  7. @shoes-R-not this bombshell is big AND curvy. Some fat people have no waistlines- this girl carries almost all of her weight on the bottom half. I think curvy is good enough description of her

Her style is fantastic. I will be borrow some things.

  8. Shoes R Hot, baby why are you even typing…this is a FASHION blog, has nothing to do with weight.

Now to the fashion bomb, honey you better WERK, love love the sequence shirt and jeans, simple but chic on a Friday night.

  9. I love her. I follow her blog and she dresses her behind off. Simple, chic and always figure flattering.

    You betta werk Kim!

  10. I don’t like the shorts at all. And the big azz bow with the green top comes across as kitschy… it looks very “getup-ish”. Other than those two, I like everything else.

  11. Idk what happen to my last comment but I love Kim’s style and her blog! You look great girl :-)

    ~Nic

  12. She know what flatters her. That hair, that face…beautiful! Definately a bombshell.

  13. she’s definitely a bombshell! The only outfit i don’t like is the shorts, but as someone said i’m sure it’s just the picture because i actually love the blazer!

  14. Very Nicely put together outfits- I didn’t particularly care for the shorts, but loved that blazer! She does know how to dress appropriately for her shape-

    Kudos Darling!!! ;)

  15. I love her use of color and chic/polished looks! She dresses will for her body type, an art that is difficult for many of us to master :-) I may have to cop one of those Michael Kors belts…

  16. I absolutely love her style !! Her clothes fit well and I love her color palette.

Erica B could take some tips from this bombshell.

Keep doing your thing Girl !!

  17. I loved most of it. I really enjoyed the black and green ensemble. You know what works for your body and what doesn’t. For that alone I applaud you

  18. ps. not that other woman can not take note either, but she is a true testament of how fashion transcends across all body shapes. Kudos to her! Boom!

  19. are you guys drunk?,cause this doesnt look bombshell to me.the first and last outfit look really cheap.i love her hair and the other outfits look cute though.i thinks its because she big,she getting a pass.just because her clothes fit her,she a bombshell.wtf

  20. She is gorgeous!!! I love everything about her, the hair, the style, the grace…keep it up hunni!!

  21. out of one of these makeup looks i will try to mimic for my graduation, flawless! and the style is great

  22. Oh yay I went to school in Raleigh. Love that town. Anyway I love all of the looks ‘cept them shorts!! :-( No ma’am. Very cute girl though.

  23. Love the tailored and polished look myself. I’m not down with the bow on the green shirt but everything else works. She looks a lot like Claire in the last pic. Do you see it Claire?

  24. Curvy/big girls you don’t have to lead off by stating that you are such. Lol, we see you. Skinny girls don’t do it.

She is so fly. Love her. She knows how to dress her figure. I like how she tries different looks but still comes off as having a genuine sense of style.

  25. I like how she tries so many different styles and everything fits her nicely, my favourite must be the jeans and the sequined top, i’m a sucker for an all black outfit!

  26. This woman is a fashion bombshell for sure. She knows how to accentuate her body and she puts her outfits together well. It is great to see that she is educated as well…Bomb!!

  27. I will say this, I hate being referred to as ‘cute” with these curves, and I think it was kinda rude to make a comment about her using the term curvy like a reader did, she has a great shape for a plus woman, in fact I’d give anything to be bottom heavy, then top heavy like I am, the struggle with buttons and stretching out shirts is “tired” lolol! Anyway I love her style, and i love that she isn’t letting it stop her from dressing and expressing herself! She looks great, and I’m glad I found a new blog today!

  28. YES! I absolutely love this woman! She is beautiful and her looks are fantastic. She is sexy, stylish, classy and she knows how to work her body.

  29. You are half right, Shoes r Hot. The term IS often misused, but in this case it’s accurate. She is very curvy

  30. I like her style. I just discovered her blog yesterday so it’s cool that she’s on here. I think, like yesterday’s bombshell, she has a pretty simple and accessible style. I wouldn’t say fashionista but definitely stylish.

On a side note, why does everyone oppose skinny and curvy? One can be both.

  31. Raleigh!!! Ahh I miss my college years. I’ll be back Raleigh lol anyway!!!!-I love her hair (braids, natural, whatever…LOVED it) and I think her clothes look wonderful on her. I love the wet black top #swoons. Her items show off her body yet are still pretty forgiving.

  32. Now…she dresses fabulous for her figure!!…I’m “CURVY” too and it can be a hit or mess if you don’t pay attention to detail. Going to check out her blog now!

  33. @monroe

there nothing for me to hate on,the last outfit look horrible and she only getting a pass because she big.skinny or fat some of these outfits are cute at best.she pretty and her clothes fit,i guess that good enough for a “curvy” woman.im not trying to be mean, but if yall really think that last outfit is hot then…………………………………..claires a lil smaller then her and i would consider her a curvy fashionbomb.

  34. The only one I’m not fond of, is the orange shirt/orange print jacket combo. Everything else I really like. Her hair is awesome.

  35. For a big girl she is doing a good job, I give her that. many thin women don’t realize how difficult it is find cute size clothing once you are over a 14. You either spend loads of money on cute items or get stuck in grandma clothing. I Love the jumper outfit with the MK belt, that was classic and would look good on any body type. I am against you showing your legs, they need allot of work, which means hit the gym or walk. You may want to start wearing sheer pantyhose to smooth out the lumps and bumps. The black outfit with the see through shirt really flattered your figure . You seem to have a pretty fat stomach, and that does your to your advantage, but work on those legs. Keep rocking different colors. You’re on the right path.

  36. What I really like about her is that she found a way to give her body shape. She doesn’t look sloppy and I think she has a great fashion sense. Not just for “curvy” girls but in general because honestly it’s some skinny girls that don’t know how to give themselves shape or highlight the areas that they should…..

  37. her style is not bad the green blouse with a bow tie , no thanks very costumey. As for the shorts a big no no, there are only emphasizing your flaws and i am sure you know that they need a lot of work to be short worthy. A couple lunges, stair master will do the trick. otherwise your style is not bad at all.

  38. I would advise that you work on your arms and legs. It would help balance out your body and your clothing would look better on you. I agree that your style is nice for a plus size woman. Keep doing you! but please put health first.

  39. I love this woman. She is so beautiful, confident and sweet. I think she has great style and dresses according to her shape which is the bomb! The green with the polka dot tied scarf is one of my faves. You go girl!

  40. makeeasweet… did you say Claire is a lil smaller than her? you’re clearly letting your ignorance run amuck tonight

I am loving the jumpsuit with the Michael Kors belt.. you werked that…I also loved the pencil skirt with the striped shirt and skinny belt… and the last pic is just all kinds of sexy…love the hair and the outfit

  41. I had the opportunity to work with this woman, and her style is fantastic. Working in the school system, you get caught in certain trends but not her. Everyday is a fashion show. Her colors, style, and confidence make her a bombshell. Big, small, or in between, we can all take away a few ideas from this diva

  42. Cute girl & nice hair but the only outfit I liked was the red trousers with the animal print top.

  43. WTF this is not a health blog. Somebody said put health first as a comment -__- this is NOT web MD. And this is coming from a size 4. For all you know she could have lost a lot if weight and even if she didn’t and wants to stay the exact same size that ain’t got a dang thing to do with her clothes. Either her clothes look good or they don’t. I think she’s pretty fly honestly. And the fit of most of her garments are on point.

  44. She looks amazing! Representing for full figured women! And to all the haters, you’re MAD because you never thought a plus size girl could LOOK BETTER, DRESS BETTER, AND HAVE MORE CONFIDENCE than YOU. #BOOYA

  45. There is a difference between curves and being BIG girl and she is a BIG girl, I hate it when people refer to anyone who is plus size as being curvy, nice round thighs, hips and boobs are curves but when the waste is small, that’s what makes you see the curves lol, when you’re a round circle then you’re not curvy any more.. Sorry just keeping it real. Now about her fashion choice don’t like it and has nothing to do with her shape.
