I believe everyone’s fashion style is not the same but this can’t be the best, she is a pretty girl but she is all over the place! the spike shoes, with the t shirt. the white skates with the blue shirt and blazer … I’m not a fan

  21. i think her style is eccentric and interesting, and fits her. it’s weird but she can pull it off.

    and ppl who comment on what other people have to say don’t look so good themselves. we’re all adults here and everyone should be able to say what they think. if the person doesn’t like the possiblity of public scrutiny they shouldn’t send their pics in and if other ppl don’t like negative comments they should scroll past them.

  24. Why do posters get upset when other posters have less than flattering things to say about the fashion bomb? At the end of the post Claire ALWAYS says “what do you think about _____’s fashion?” Soooo, aren’t we supposed to give our honest opinions? It doesn’t say “if you LIKE ______ leave a coment”.

  27. Another one of the friends checking in. I’m laughing at some of the haters and their irrelevant opinions. I get it people hate what they do not understand and as my homie Kia Marie would say “this is high level not eye level” (courtesy of Jay-z) so the bashing is expected. The word haters will never be meaningless as long as hate exist and seeing as last time i checked hate has not been eliminated from the dictionary then the word still holds very strong meaning.   41. lmao, nice try yourself. but i don’t remember reading any commenter ever saying they HATED her style. hate is an extremely strong emotion. people may hate things like war, disease, and pedophiles, but i don’t think they hate your friend’s style. so: 1. get over yourself, because no one cares enough to hate your friend’s style. can they really be called “haters”? not really. 2. the word “hater” has become meaningless and it’s impact lessened because it’s overused in completely inappropriate situations like this one. 3. if you’re going to try insult people based on their lack of originality, try and find a new word that isn’t totally banal, pedestrian, and totally out of proportion with the situation.

    and my response was to people trying keep commenters from doing what we are literally encouraged to do: which is to say what we think about the person’s style. not comment about other people’s opinions. don’t know how that’s a contradiction.

    you on the other hand, were pretty hypocritical when you stated that people’s criticisms were irrelevent but went on to: 1. comment on their opinions anyway 2. called them lowbrow and unimaginative because they didn’t “understand” enough to like your friend’s style. how about they just didn’t like it, and that’s okay because we’re all grown?

    in short, if what other people say REALLY doesn’t matter to you, then let them say what they want.

  50. I had to comment again. 1, I agree with Esme about the hater issue. Its really played out.
    2., I think she could benefit from removing a few accessories from her final look and then she’d strike gold. Take the last picture for example, the dress is a bright floral print with a zipper and a ruffle in the front. Do you really need a chunky necklace competing with the dress’ ruffle? Remove the headpiece, necklace and ring and then I think the outfit works better. The turban outfit is another example. Its too much/too many trends at once. We’ve got a turban, slouchy tee, patterned tights, over-the-knee-socks, spiked glitzy shoes, pink shorts and a ton of bangles. Its all too much.

  54. sorry,I have to agree…it is actually not very”fresh” looks,that I haven’t seen before…very contrived,actually..she is a pretty girl though,so she would probably do well with classics with a twist,as her style is wearing her and it should be the opposite ..frame your beauty,these are dulling it down.. :) I like the choice of some of the items,just not all in one shot.

  57. The grey outfit is perfect but in every other outfit the accessorizing was way overdone, in my opinion. The outfit with the white blazer is overly preppy. I agree with others, some pieces are great but all together, it’s too much.

  59. I like the grey outfit…that’s about it. Pretty girl, but most of the outfits are overly accessorized. Take away a few pieces and the looks would definitely work. If I saw her in real life, I would probably think she was trying too hard.

    Oh and this is not HATE, just an honest opinion.

  61. Personally i wouldn’t wear anything like this and it does not inspire me, Too many things going on in one outfit. Just because you throw everything you can think of on it does not equal fashion. Let’s be serious, no one is going to leave there house looking like that, maybe they just don’t have that many people who submit themselves on here. It seems like whenever someone wears a cheap looking “forever21” type of outfit most readers are raving about how stylish the person is, but as soon as original ideas, vintage looks from 80’s or 90’s or anything unconventional pops up readers instantly leave negative comments. Fashion should not be taken so serious! It’s a artistic expression in my eyes so it should be accepted in any shape or form. I like her style it looks good on her and not everyone can pull it off which makes it interesting. Some of you are very closed minded.

  71. ok… is everyone in the world a “stylist” now? and if so… can i see some actual style and not just a mosh of different color/patterns that are gathered together and then called “bold”, “eccentric”, “original” or some other crap? really now… while the “fashion bomb” is a beautiful girl, her “style” leaves much to be desired. it seems as though putting on a bunch of different things that don’t work together is now called “style”… maybe i missed something but it’s not style to me. whomever would like to call me a hater… go ahead. i could really care less as i neither know you nor does your angst over my opinion make an iota of difference in my life.

  73. As soon as I saw that this post had 72 responses I knew something was wrong. Isn’t that sad?? I think she is adorable and definitely has her own sense of style. If its not hurting anyone and she feels good thats all that matters. This bickering back and forth is very unattractive and is the main reason why I stopped coming to this site as often as I use to. I hope Claire won’t have to put a stop to comments again but it looks like its might be heading in that direction because it never fails, people just can’t seem to respect others opinions whether good or bad.
