We’ve had weeks with nothing but DMV Bombshells, and this week it seems it’s all about the UK! Didi from Mancheter sent in a few flicks of her style for today’s feature:

She says, “I am a true lover of fashion…”

“…and celebrate being a woman.”

“… I would describe my style as girly, trendy…”

“…and cute.”

” I don’t tend to stick to one style for long.”

” I’m constantly reinventing my look.”

Cute as a button! What do you think?

Fashion Bombshell of the Day is a feature showcasing the singular style of Fashion Bomb Readers. Send your name, location, a description of your style, and your picture(s) to th************@gm***.com.

  1. here we go again….
Maxi dresses, belts and short-shorts does not a fashion bombshell make.
    sorry.

  2. I agree Claire- I do think she is as cute as a button and the style works for her.

  3. I agree as well as far as the fashions. Also, shes a beautiful girl but that wig detracts from it.

  4. umm once again your not stacey or clinton..this is not what not to wear her style is her style, it will not work for everyone, she is bombshell in her own right..agree with clair cute, casual style

  5. It always makes me shake my head when someone leaves a comment bashing the Fashion Bombshells for not being outrageous enough. Because Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers and Nurses and those in the Corporate World walk around like Rihanna right? I loved how this Fashion Bombshell embraced current trends and made them her own. Very cute and well put together.

  6. Hmm…cute girl, just not fashion bomb worthy. The way she put her clothes together is as unoriginal as you can get. She should try and experiment more with putting her pieces together.

  7. She’s as cute as a button in her maxi-dresses, but I’m not feeling the denim shorts. Finding high-waist shorts with a good fit can be tricky. Try making a pair out of old “mom jeans”. I promise they’ll look & fit much better than what’s sold in stores!

  8. Thank you Missb1203! I expect the usual comments when I come to the site and today is no different. Outrageous to some people who frequent this site is usually club wear mixed with other things. Fashion is supposed to fun and reflect your personality. It doesn’t always have to be about how outrageous you can look. Didi is adorable and style works for her!

  9. @missb..no one said she wasn’t outrageous enough. While we should also celebrate the more simpler styles, her style isn’t really that different from the majority of people out there.

  10. stop bashing her, she has her own unique fashion that works for her and thats why she was chosen to ba a bombshell. I personally think she looks great and she’s cute i would wear those clothes in jamaica. Its funny how the people with the negative comments have never sent pics to be a bombshell im sure..hmm i wonder why!

  11. Adorableness!! I love her in the pictures with the shorts! I have a ways to go before I can effectively pull off shorts with an outfit.

  12. I was trying to think of a nice way to say this, but now I dont have too. I agree with sun.kissed all day. Camels are a no no.

  13. not a bombshell. In addition to wearing pieces that she likes, she also needs to consider whether the items look good on her body. That is seriously missing here. Her not considering how the pieces look on her body. The shorts do not look great on her body at all and she needs to burn them no matter how much she likes them and find shorts that work for her body. The only piece that looks halfway decent is the black dress.

  14. People KILL me with this “stop bashing her”. who is bashing!? no one has said anything mean or hurtful. her shorts aren’t flattering! her style doesn’t stand out!
that isn’t hurtful its the truth!
when I check the bombshell of the day I look to be inspired, to covet the looks/ finds and makeup. Does she have to look like Beyonce in every picture, no. But do I expect more from the Bombshell of the day, yes. That’s what I sign up for when I log on. so please, miss me with that “your not Stacey or Clinton”
because its YOU’RE not your anyway.

  15. I like her style, she’s cute ( sans the wig) she just needs clothing that look good on her body type!!!!!!

  16. She is very cute. Her style is young and fun and I can appreciate that but her hair and camel toe are messing it up…Very cute girl none the less.

  17. Nope. Not even close. She should keep experimenting with more pieces, jewelry and silhouettes and ditch that horrible weave/wig pronto.

  18. Well said @Jae! NO ONE was even remotely bashing her. Most criticisms have actually been constructive.

  19. Such a pretty girl! Some outfits I loved, some not as much, but she’s great at picking out colors for her skin tone! And that last pink sweater is FAB!

  20. Although she may be a cute girl, I don’t like her fashions at all. There is nothing unique about them. She looks like every young lady thats walking down the street today. Just because you take some descent pictures in some subpar outfits, does not make you fashion bomb worthy. I’m not saying this to bash her or hurt any feelings, it’s just my opinion. I think when we talk about fashion bombshells, we look to be inspired by a combination that they put together that we’ve never thought of, stretch our imagination a little, and honor true fashionistas. I think people who are submitted for the fashion bombshell of the day really need to bring the “tick tick boom.”

  21. She is a cute as button..cutest dimples.. great smile.. her style is ok.. a comfortable chic…just trash the lace front!!!

  22. Nice girl.,…me likes! Maybe I dunno what a camel toe is, cus I din see any *shrugs*

  23. The best thing about this blog is that it’s an open forum for discussion of fashion. People need to stop getting defensive if someone doesn’t agree with the pick. I guarantee that if you’re chosen to be a bombshell you know that not everyone is going to dig what you choose to wear. And this forum is so wide that your going to have different people from different walks of life commenting. So a 28year old lawyer is not going have the same tastes as a 19 year old college student. BTW homegirl is cute but a tad lackluster for my taste. I’m tired of the long hair headband.

  24. If your hair isn’t looking right it will throw an entire outfit off. I know when my hair isn’t done, no matter what I put on I just do not feel right.

    I can’t get past that wig/lace-front. Absolute no-no.

  25. Very cute girl. The black & orange dresses are ok, everything else is unflattering. Those hi waisted shorts are actually criminal.

The wig/weave is horrid and definitely ruins the cuteness..it looks too big, too dry and too fake.

  26. She is a beautiful girl..her style is cute..not very bombshell like..She’s unique..Love the black dress!

  27. She has a beautiful smile, I applaud her for submitting SN:I wouldn’t do it personally, so call me a punk, lol and just don’t find myself fashionable enough since I wear suits most of my work week and too tired on the weekends to dress up in anything

HOWEVER….I think her outfits are ill-fitting and not too flattering. Also that wig has got to go….to the trash/beautician<—only options.

  28. OMG this girl is gorgeous! To be honest, I think her style is cool and easy to put together, very chilled. Also love the hair, gives all the outfits a cool glam edge. Got a lot of inspiration from her :D

  29. English style is really different to American, so considering that, I think it’s great. Plus she’s from Manchester – they’re really hip there apparently and you can tell!

  30. This bit*h is the baddest bit*h i have seen on this site, she is absolutely beautiful. and i frigging love this apparent camel toe (if she can look this hot on holiday imagine how hot she looks naked)

  31. i can’t believe no one’s said anything about her shoes … HORRIBLE choices in all pictures where we can see them; they look extremely cheap & tacky. i think that’s where she went the most wrong…a shoe says a lot about a lady…

  32. No, no, and no *A la Ray J’s mom*. And hell to the no to the frizzy synthetic lacefront ! On a positive note: the black maxi dress look is nice.

  33. She has a cute girlie young style and obviously likes her own personal style enough to want to share it. As long as she loves what she wears than who am you to sit your ass at a computer screen and ‘criticise’ however your option is your option. If I was her I wouldn’t burn the wig nor the jean shorts because that is her swag…simply beautiful.

  34. What a pretty young woman. I love that she is confident. I am not feeling her shoes in any of the pictures. She has a pretty smile.

  35. Considering that all these pictures are clearly holiday pics, you can’t expect her to be wearing heels or boots. She looks amazing and her individual style really shines through. I Love IT!

  36. Fashion isn’t meant to be taken so seriously. Its a great way in which different people, of different ages and different styles can express themselves as individuals. Shes not taking herself so seriously and neither should anyone. Live and let live. She looks great. That is undeniable.

  37. Bombshell? I think that’s a bit much…she doesn’t do it for me and 2 thumbs down to the wig unless it’s for health reasons she should lose it.

  38. She is very cute … Love her looks .
I find that those who are not familiar with the the blogger world “Just don’t get it” Everyone is not going to like everyone’s style but take what you do like and talk about that… Thats the whole point of fashion shows, you dont have to like everything but you pick different pieces out of the show that you would pair with something else.

  39. The only piece I like is the cute black maxi dress…other than that, I find the other pieces to be mismatch for this girl’s body type…she doesn’t dress according to her body type and her selections look a little odd on her body…

  40. I could not even focus on the horrible fashion displayed here because I was too distracted by that horrible weave.
