I’m from Mississippi and I don’t need to be inspired by East Coast people on how to look great. I lived in Harlem for a while and I saw hits and missies there just like everywhere else. Stop the ignorance. Everyone up there is not all that, either.

I do apologize for the poor quality (iPhone pics). I love fashion & vintage is my first love. I read Fashion Bomb Daily often but I never thought about seeing myself or any of my pics on here. Most pictures were taken in a mirror at my small store in Mississippi. I thank you guys for all of your feedback (positive & negative). I needed the boost to take my love for fashion to the next level. I will definitely submit better photos if I decide to submit photos again. Thank you so much, Claire. You are truly an inspiration. This was my first blog experience and it was great.

She looks great!!! She actually has some originality to her style which is great. I don’t think you need east coast or nyc influence to be fly but I will say that it’s probably easier to find stuff or see people you’re inspired by when you live in a major city. (Although that is getting easier now with the Internet). I give her even more props for being from ms…it means she has a good eye and inspires herself. My only recco would be to change up some of the shoes. I’m over round toe platform pumps.

Love your style Christy. Selfies or not, you still look good. May I suggest you purchase a tripod and a good quality camera (nothing too expensive) to take your pics with next time. I do this and my pics always come out looking great. You just have to learn to play with the camera settings.
