Kristabel…what a lovely name! I have a reverence for women who can make flats look chic. You did it! Your mint sweater/silver brogues outfit is my favorite.

  1. Her looks are not my personal choice…but she has some very cute stand out pieces I like. I would just rock them my way!

Kudos for her being stylish and sporty in her own way!

    Loves it!

  2. Oh, I like her look. Trendy but she puts her personal stamp on it. Also, I love her crisp pics. Very nice.

  3. Try again. This is a hot ass mess.

Nothing wrong with shopping at the thrift stores but at least put a cute outfit together, perhaps run a brush through your hair. Just, ugh, unkempt.

Also, if you are going to wear red lips, a statement color, please put at least some powder and mascara on. She looks like a corpse.

She is right about one thing, this is DEFINITELY not everyone’s taste.

  4. Love her style! It’s very refreshing to see something other than the sometimes mundane chicks featured here. And I love her blog!

  5. her style is her own…and she owns it…not MY style…but i appreciated hers…and she hit the nail on the head, it is very european/londonesque. Her hair however…totally unkempt, it was very distracting. I enjoy the messy hair look…but her hair looks like it needs a wash and a trim. its a shame because otherwise she would have been spot on.

  6. Kristabel, you get props from me. I wore a similar outfit to your plaid skirt (mine is a tad longer and deeper in hue) with a denim blouse and boots (i opted for riding boots)

    CLEARLY GOOD TASTE.

  7. “She looks like a corpse”‘…. Sheesh… .Some of you women need to just kill yourselves. Your commentary comes across drenched in misery.

As for Kristabel I will never like doc martins I think they are just dreadful. I can tell u are “trying” to look effortlessly trendy… it looks forced.

  8. She’s from London so of course she’s better than most of the terrible ”bombshells” usually posted on here . Not a circus clown coloured body con dress in sight !!!!!!

  9. she def has a signature style and some nice peices. would be nice to see more femininity infused. not necessarily a bunch of heels/cleavage but less harsh makeup would be a start. the red lip works for many, but not all people overall, she looks ok… but something just feels like its missing.

actually just took anothe look. the clothes themselves are great but somehow on her its just looking frumpy (perhaps b/c of whats going on from the neck up). its like she may be trying to look unattractive or pursue a look not suited for her.

with a few minor syling tweaks she could be a bombshell

  10. I can’t actually believe how rude some of the comments here are, like a corpse?! Seriously? It stuns me how people can be so ridiculous when judging others unnecessarily. I absolutely adore Kristabels style, although I know I couldn’t work it all myself you can see the thought behind the outfit and heck, she looks happy and confident- so should anything else matter? This girl has serious style points- and if she’s on Susie Bubbles reading list she’s obviously on the right track (she definitely is)- this is London style at its babin-est. Plus she’s a complete babe and i would kill for skin that good. You go girl!

  11. It suits her. Not everyone has the same cookie cutter American style and she gets points for having the balls to wear what she wants regardless of what we think.

  12. Cute, but I would have liked to have seen some heels (even a kitten heel if high heels don’t suit u)! Also maybe you could have worn some of your knitwear designs? That would have been pretty cool…

  13. Kristabel – I agree, what a lovely name.

Firstly, you’re absolutely gorgeous and while everything you wear isn’t necessarily to my own personal taste, it doesn’t have to be for me to appreciate it.
You do you, and you do you well.

  14. I like your style. Forget the haters and debbie downers. I’m just happy someone is finally wearing something that fits them and isn’t trying to be a Lady Gaga or Rihanna clone.

  15. original style not my forte suits her its her own reminds me of the 9-5 girl ho just got off work and changed into her sneaks because her feet hurt but i love the first look with the riding skirt

  16. I like her style! Her style has personality, it’s pretty and it looks relaxed. When a style is relaxed it’s more natural, confident and easy to pull off for a reader if they need inspiration. That’s why I like it.
