So as I mentioned, I had the distinct honor of meeting and chatting with the finalists of Bravo TV’s the Fashion Show today at the Bravo offices in New York!

I was running fashionably late, but Calvin, Jeffrey, and Dominique were all smiles and very welcoming!
A few things I learned: Calvin has no regrets about the way he acted during the show. He said, “I don’t regret anything. I was being myself what could I regret? I worked very hard and I think it showed very accurately what I went through as a designer and as a person.” Regarding designing clothes for larger sizes, they all said that they cater to all shapes and sizes, but that one particular episode featuring the Real Housewives was difficult because of the larger than life personalities in the room. Dominique is starting her own line this year. And Jeffrey hopes to show at New York Fashion Week one day!
They also divulged that there will be tons of surprises for tomorrow’s finale (featuring Mary J Blige)!
Make sure to tune in to Bravo tomorrow at 10pm to see who wins!
*And just for fun, a lil piece of artwork I saw in the hallways of the Bravo offices:

Cute, right?

  1. OMG CLAIRE!! I’m so jealous.

I am in love with Calvin. Yes, he is an asshole, but he is more hilarious than bitchy to me. I’m curious: Were you able to find out about his partner? I know on the show he said that he’s dying. How are they doing? I hope his partner is still well. :( :(

Jeffrey is awesome too. He’s too cute. Is he still a virgin? Haha.

Dominique is just eh to me. :\ She’s just bland.

I also loved Caesar. I wish they would have had a Top 4!

  2. I <3 Calvin too! he is absolutely hilarious!! Jeffrey is awesome too, he reminds me of Morris Day *swoons*

  3. lol @ lola. calvin is a b*tch of the highest order. sometimes i find him funny, but sometimes he’s just out of line, like when he refused to design a korean wedding gown for the gay couple and did some kind of version of a japanese kimono? that was beyond rude, it was culturally insensitive. as funny as i find him, i can’t root for someone who doesn’t know where and when to not cross the line, particuarly in work relationships… so i’m totally rooting for jeffrey. he has an interesting point of view, talented and doesn’t act like a complete ass about it. calvin needs anger managment.

  4. @ Esme

The episode where Calvin was disrespectful to the gay couple I did find Calvin was really rude.

I’m half Korean and the Korean jokes and him refusing to do the dress didn’t bother me (I still found the ‘Go to Chinatown!’ jabs hilarious) but it was the fact that Calvin genuinely did not want to do what THE CLIENT wanted that bugged me.
