Are you tired of my Style Diaries yet?
Well this one will be short and sweet;)
Last night, before heading to see Da Banda perform at Savannah Beach Club (a must visit for spectacular sunsets), I decided to try the gladiator trend on for size for a walk by the ocean.

My footwear of choice? Stuart Weitzman knee high flats, which I paired with a Diane von Furstenberg snake print dress and white blazer (I literally have had this dress forever. Here’s a pic of Christina Milian wearing it back in 2007).

I shielded the rays in a pair of old school inspired Cazal sunglasses.

Then headed to Savannah to enjoy the night’s festivities.

  1. Wow, Claire you look awesome! The whole outfit is banging girl! LOVE the gladiators…

  2. I’ve been reading these posts from the dull UK, the fact that the sun is so bright it fades out your pictures just makes me want to cry. So yes in that sense I am tired of them! but otherwise Ibiza looks amazing.

  3. Claire you are all types of disrespectful. Everyday you post a picture of your fly yourself, end up taking my life from me and never apologize lol. You look all types of fab and I need to drink whatever you are drinking.

  4. For those on a budget- the Aldo “Canada” gladiator sandal for $150 is a great way to try the trend without breaking the bank. I bought them in black and have received a few compliments so far…stylish and comfy- can’t beat that!

  5. Lovely look on you. Love the shoes. Need the heeled version on them shoes. Hope you have some serious SPF on cos the tan marks from them!!!

  6. Claire always kills it! The rest of the Fashion Bomb staff should post style diaries too.

  7. You are so FAT. Lose some weight.

You keep putting your face on here like you are cute. It is so embarrassing. I cringe every time I see you come up on this site.

Enough already, you are not a celebrity, as hard as you try to be

  8. Anony Mouse must not be aware that this is Claire’s blog. Don’t feed the troll.

Love the gladiator sandals though Claire!! Will look over @ Aldo for a similar sandal.

  9. @ Anony Mouse…..You are such a vile and vindictive person. How can a post about something so lighthearted and fun spew such venom is beyond reason. Some hate mongers sling weapons, some sling dirt….same difference.

You are so pathetic that you can’t even enjoy the scenery!!!

Anyhooo, Claire you look fabulous, are those sandals true to size? sometimes I find that SW runs a half size too small.

  10. This look is crazy cute head to toe.. Ur last look to the “castle” banged.. Those shoes were super hottt.. The first look didnt work for me.. Too matchy mayb.. The shoes didnt work well for me…
But THIISSS … I can c me allllll in this.. Great job girlie!!!!!!

  11. Something’s a little off, maybe the fit of the dress. Otherwise, it’s a cute outfit.

  12. Claire, This look is a fashion risk…you took the risk and I applaud your gaul but its not flattering.

The sandals are heinous but the dress is cute just not together.

  13. Anony Mouse is indeed being true to their name, as their manner is indeed rodent like in nature. It’s sad that it seems that you are using Claire to displace your anger at being made the suck on the crumbs of the big cheese that Claire has left behind. Perhaps it is time that you go back to consuming your own crap, as rats commonly do, instead of spewing it on the comment section. Claire, continue to shine and ignore the rodents as they will eventually be eaten away by the poison that they ingest.

  14. I think the dress is too short and gives you a paunch. But,the sandals are hot, everything else is a 10.You look like an amazing person,I like you lol

  15. What’s going on with your locks? I don’t wear them but I noticed that they appear to be extensions of some sort. Should they be so thin at the root or is that the start of new growth? I’m asking because I’m genuinely curious and have noticed that is several pics…… You look beautiful btw :)

  16. On what planet does she need to lose weight!? Get your eyes checked! You look fab Claire! The outfit, hair and makeup are flawless. WORK!

  17. lol@gleb talking about the mouse. I think the mouse has to be talking about Claires boobs in terms of the weight she’s holding. Jealous much?

Im not here for the outfit but I like it on Claire. She carries it very well.

  18. @steph and @D thanks for the gladiator alternatives. It’s hard to find them this high without heels. Claire, keep it going: it’s a great way to go “haute” at the beach.

  19. You look absolutely lovely, my dear!

Not to speak for Claire, but as a loc wearer for over 12 years, when your roots are freshly twisted, they are thinner than the rest of your locs. Your hair naturally ‘swells’ once it has loc’d. New growth has not had the opportunity to go through that process.

Consider a rope, tie it…the untied ends are thinner than the knot of the rope = locs.

  20. But AA (trini saying) i thought this was @Claire’s Blog??? Anywho am loving those sandals Claire. Keep posting!!!

  21. Claire what lipstick are you wearing, looking for a similar shade for my holiday, thanks in advance

  22. I love your outfit. I am also loving the gladiator sandals. I was worried about wearing the gladiator trend. I have some that I bought from free people that i wore to a festival and I loved them. I want to buy more!

  23. Thank you @Soul Touch for that explanation. Although I am natural, I do not understand everything in terms of how natural hair textures behave. I noticed that her locks (pre-platinum) were much thinner from root to tip and then they became thin at the root and super puffy at the ends. Although her updos are BEAUTIFUL, it’s definitely more noticeable when her roots are exposed. Almost appearing to be thinning or falling out. It seems like just about all of the FBD staff are natural and they take pride in their hair. I really wish either they or their stylists (specifically Claire’s) would explain some things to us. Thanks again :) :) :)

  24. @Tish Tash

My pleasure and I totally understand. It also depends on the size of your locs, the thicker they are the more apparent the thinner roots. My locs are not as apparent because they are somewhat small/thinner, but not as small/thin as sister locs (where it’s not apparent at all).

    Stay blessed.
