The fur hat and black boots are calling my name. Great eye. I couldnt wear most of the pieces she has, but THAT’s what makes individual style.

I’ve been following Karen’s blog for about a year. Love her. We don’t really have the same style so I don’t pull much from her looks but I still love checking in on her fabulosity!

@Vee & @Jamie Sometimes we feature known bloggers as Bombshells of the Day. We’ve had Demetria Lucas aka A Belle in BK, Inny Vinny, Marie Denee of the Curvy Fashionista and more. This feature is about profiling stylish Fashion Bomb readers, whether well known or obscure.
And Jamie, I nominated her as I thought it was ridic she hadn’t been featured as a Bombshell before (though we did write about her site as a Cool Online Find http://fashionbombdaily.com/2010/02/25/cool-online-find-where-did-u-get-that/ ).
The only rules to be a Bombshell is to be a reader and have a unique style.

Shes one of my favorite bloggers so I was excited to see her as Fashion Bombshell of the day.
I love how daring she is with her clothes.
Its beginning to not be about the specific item someone is wearing but more so how they’re wearing that item and shes doing it all correct I love it.

I’m interested to see how the results may have been different if it was not stated that she is a personal friend of the site owner.
I love the outfit with the pink trousers but i’m not crazy about the other outfits.
she’s very pretty, reminds me of Lala V. in the photo with the black boots and fur(?) hat.

I absolutely love the hot pink sweater/short/glitter flats… totally my style right there. I like the last pic as well although I couldn’t pull that hat off, my head is big enough by itself, yo. LOL

I love her but C’MON! she is totally already a famous blogger. That’s like having Karla Deras, Susie Bubble or the Man Repeller up in here. I think having her as a spotlight would be better. She’s obviously miles beyond your average bombshell (although the basic haters here will be scared by her more wild looks)

oh i just saw Claire’s response. Although I’m definitely not against nominating any blogger it doesn’t seem as organic having the site owner nominate very well known folk :) for something that is typically just people taking self portraits on their $2.99 3.2 mpx camera.

i like Karen…great photos on her blog, and unapologetic personal style (my fav thing about her)…but dang, really? She’s totally already the shit and I think the votes could be swayed!

Well I love karen’s Blog and I feel a need to get defensive for her sake, it seems like everytime a Bombshell is posted people break down everything to the last thread, instead of being openminded. I’m not saying that you have to like it, but I think that people need to be open minded, and second, a ton of fashion bomb shells that make it don’t even have blogs. Is there anything wrong with putting a well known blogger with great style up here so that people know who she is, and maybe goes to her blog and becomes a fan? I don’t think so. I think sometimes the people on here need to loosen up a bit, which is why I NEVER would link my site on here, or my identity, the energy on here is so bleh sometimes. The couple of time i did link my site i got unwanted, negative energy from people saying they found me through this blog.
questioning her because she put this girl up here, it’s her blog. I think she delivers enough content about celebs and those who aren’t famous, and by chance of her doing a photoshoot with Karen she featured her, so it’s not a big deal. Karen is a well known blogger, but she still is a fashion blogger at the end of the day like some of the Bombshells that are featured on here.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE! Definitely my favorite in a LONG time. The pink ribbed sweater, the floral blazer, the fur hat(s), the glitter loafers! Agh! I’d buy it all. That last picture, with the boots, the fur hat, and the studded bag…that look is a million bucks. I can see why this girl is a successful blogger, she, like Claire, has impeccable taste!

If you read her blog religiously (as I do), you will see there is no competition between Karen and the other potential bombshells of the year. There are only two others that I can think of that can give her competition. One of those two is Taye, from Stuffshelikes.net.

GIRL SHE IS TRULY EVERYTHING, Can’t say that I know any other as memorable. I actually remember stumbling upon her post where she rocked the flower print. She spoke of rocking a flower printed pant with the flower print top. I actually thought that would have been a bit much. But this is A true FASHIONISTA!

I’m so confused. I guess its just not my style because it just looks like she found the most non-matching random pieces she could possibly find and threw them all on: sequins, tribal print, 2-3 different animal prints, fur, etc all at once. Clearly people love her style so I’m not knockin it, but I think when we look at blogs all day sometimes its easy to lose sight of what’s really fashionable versus just different.
