Roman designer, Alessandro Michele has officially been announced the new Creative Director of Valentino, and will succeed Pierpaolo Piccioli, who lead the Italian fashion house for 25-years.
Formerly the Creative Director of Gucci, Michele brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Valentino and will be showcasing his first collection during September Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2025.
Over the years, he has developed a fan-base among celebs like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Billie Eillish, Harry Styles for his maximalist designs. Let’s just say, he has challenged the status quo in very avant-garde ways.
Considering that fashion is a very close-knit community, there is a saying that goes, “it’s not what you know, but rather who you know.” Michele has worked with iconic figures in the fashion industry such as Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, and Silvia Venturini Fendi.
In fact, Michele will be rejoining Valentino CEO, Jacopo Venturini who he worked alongside during his time at Gucci.

The legendary Diana Ross celebrated her 80th birthday alongside her children this week and everyone looked absolutely flawless.
From Rhonda, Tracee, Chudney, Ross and Evan to her grandchildren in tow, this birthday shoot was the ultimate family affair.
Of course, the Queen of Motown looked as beautiful as she did during her Supreme heydays. Perhaps you can recall some of their remarkable songs, like “Stop in the Name of Love,” or “Baby Love.”
Maybe you’re still singing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” or “I’m Coming Out” from Diana’s solo era– one thing for sure is that Mrs. Ross has taken us on soulful journey over the years.
Diana’s diamond embellished dress had Swarovski crystals and jewels from ‘Diamonds Eternal Jewellers’. Not to mention her custom coat that had a 20ft train, and was complimented with luxe fabrics, feather trim, and the most beautiful appliques.

Beyonce’s new country album Cowboy Carter dropped on Good Friday! She blessed the occasion with a press trip to Japan, where she shined in chocolate brown Atsuko Kudo Latex, styled by Shiona Turini:
She completed her look with a cowboy hat, Western style belt, and Femma La sandals.
She later slipped on a trench coat and Cartier shades.

Fashion Bomb Couple, Nelly and Ashanti attended the 25th Annual Mark Twain Prize red carpet Sunday evening at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
The event which honored comedian Kevin Hart with the American Humor award, included celebs like Tiffany Haddish, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld.
All eyes were on the hip-hop and R&B duo, Nelly and Ashanti as they arrived in matching black and white ensembles. Although many outlets have reported Ashanti allegedly being pregnant by the St. Louis tycoon, the couple has yet to drop the news or dispel the rumors.

Nonetheless, they look stronger than ever, and happily in love. For the event, Ashanti opted for a black $1,590 silk Balenciaga shirt that she wore as a dress. She layered her look with a long black and white mink coat from Daniel’s Leather, and accessorized with black snake skin boots. Her neck was iced out with Chanel, and we noticed a massive rock on her ring finger.

Nelly looked dapper a crisp white shirt that he layered with a black velvet vest. He paired his formal wear with black sequins embellished trousers and stayed true to his style. His nicely lined haircut, and signature oversize diamond studs framed his face exceptionally well.

“How Does It Feel” singer, Chloe Bailey was the first celebrity spotted in the glamorous purple dress during Beyonce’s Renaissance film premiere back in November at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
Bailey paired her ensemble with hoop earrings, silver bangles and metallic silver pumps. For her hair-doo, she opted for faux locs that looked neat and pristine against her lavender smokey eye make-up.

The Real Housewives of Potomac is coming to an iconic ending as they wrap of season 8 this Sunday and you know the reunion is bound to bring the heat, and set the Bravo stage ablaze.
From the ladies taking a trip to Austin and the Dominican Republic, to Mia Thornton and Ashley Darby opening up about their marital issues, and newbie Nneka Ihim causing mayhem in Wendy Osefo’s world, the drama was endless this season.
Of course we have a first look at the stunning ensembles that the Potomac ladies wore to the reunion filmed in New York last month. The theme was “Art Gallery,” and the ladies all wore black, and arrived in custom gowns that felt luxe and brought the sartorial elegance.
Ahead see the Bravolebrities, who put Potomac on the map, and made quite the entrance at the reunion.
Although this season, Gizelle Bryant tried to give newbie Nneka Ihim the ‘Grand Dame’ title, we all know that no one can uphold the title like Karen Huger. The OG who celebrated her triple twenties this season, arrived to the reunion in a meticulously crafted ‘Maticevski‘ gown that was characterized with a high slit.
The beautiful Gizelle Bryant has stepped her game up. For someone who has been criticized for her sense of fashion in the past, she has certainly evolved over the years. We loved how glamorous she looked in her black Versace dress that draped around her body like a glove.
When it comes down to Dr. Wendy Osefo, we all know that she doesn’t play. The Nigerian-American commentator looked incredible in a black Ann Usman dress that she paired with a cream Johnathan Kayne cape. Her embellished Ela Rose statement necklace exuded royalty, and prestige.
One would have perhaps thought that Mia Thornton arrived to the reunion in Indian designer Gaurav Gupta based on the sculptural detailing of her gown. However Mia actually wore an Atlanta based designer named, Nneka Alexander aka Brides by Nona. From the fit and construction of the gown, to the phenomenal techniques used on the sheer bodice of her dress-we give Mia 10’s across the board.
Who would Candace Dillard Bassett be if she didn’t have a mic in her hand? The reality-star turned songstress opted for a black lace gown by a Miami designer named Katya Suzdaleva. Mrs. Bassett looked like perfection, and for someone who’s only 5’3, she definitely carried the length of this dress exceptionally well.
Can anyone else tell that Ashley Boalch Darby isn’t letting any stress get to her? Since she moved on from her husband Michael Darby, she looks like a new and improved woman. The former Miss District of Columbia titleholder wore a custom strapless Riley Knoxx Couture gown that had a deep plunge neckline. The exceptional beading work on her dress made Ashley a standout sensation.
Newbie Nneka Ihim ruffled a few feathers this season (primarily Wendy’s) and couldn’t seem to make amends despite several efforts. The gorgeous Nigerian-American Lawyer stayed true to her roots, and wore a Nigerian clothing brand called Xtra Brides Lagos aka ‘XBL The Prestigious’ to the reunion. Nneka slayed this look and we admired her confidence.
Despite Juan’s alleged infidelity, Robyn Dixon chose to remain by her man’s side through thick and thin this season. For her reunion look, the hazel-eyed beauty opted for a designer called ‘DifferentRegard.’ Her asymmetrical dress felt very avant-garde with her black stiletto high-heel leggings, and her platinum blonde bob was so chic.

Showcasing her Houston, Texas roots, Bey posed on top of a white horse in a patriotic and western inspired red, white, and blue latex cowboy look that was paired with matching chaps, and made her look like a true equestrian.
Celebrity Stylist, Shiona Turini styled Beyoncé’s ensemble with white pointy toe boots, and a muted white cowboy hat. Yoncé’s hairstylist, Nakia Collin had her long platinum blonde 28-inch strands blowing in the wind.
Queen B also debuted a limited edition exclusive cover vinyl shot by Mason Poole that’s available on Shop.Beyonce.com. Posing completely nude, with a “act ii Beyoncé” sash wrapped around her body, and a burning cigar in hand, Beyoncé’ served ultra sex appeal. Her cornrows were characterized with red and white beads at the tips and felt very ‘Solange’ like.
We are living for these fierce cover images of Beyoncé, and if this is any indication of what’s to come with the Cowboy Carter visuals, then we are in for a treat!
