The Treena Marie Collection: A Dream Realized

Treena Marie Veal, the visionary designer behind The Treena Marie Collection (TMC), is set to showcase her flagship brand at The Bomb Fashion Show during New York Fashion Week. This marks the first time in over a decade that Treena is presenting a complete collection specifically for TMC. While she has created custom designs for friends and family over the years, this show holds special significance as it unveils designs that truly come from the heart.

“I hope to inspire other young fashion entrepreneurs who are just starting out in the industry. Building a brand takes time, but stay focused—hard work pays off. Never let go of your dreams. I’ve been on this journey for a while, and it’s more than just passion—it’s a dream realized,” says Treena. “Through my brands, I strive to bring out the best in others and encourage them to pursue their own dreams with confidence and determination.”

A Collection Rooted in Authenticity and Innovation**

Treena, an entrepreneur with a background in both fashion and home design, is becoming more known for her innovative approach to style. Her keen eye for detail and passion for creating adaptable, practical pieces are guiding the Treena Marie Collection toward establishing its place in the fashion industry. Developed with a focus on the needs of today’s professionals, the collection emphasizes her signature custom suits and introduces a work-play theme that resonates with the fast-paced lifestyles of her target audience.

A Journey of Growth and Dedication

This collection is more than just fashion; it reflects Treena’s journey as a Black-owned and funded designer bootstrapping her own company. After years of creating custom designs for friends and family, Treena is now unveiling a collection that emphasizes her commitment to quality, style, and sustainability. A standout feature of this collection is the inclusion of a signature sustainable fabric—a material she could not afford to use in the past but now proudly incorporates, symbolizing her growth and dedication to the fashion industry.

Beyond fashion, Treena has also made her mark in the world of home design. In her recent book *Renovate to Elevate*, she shares her eye for vision and detail, honed through years of remodeling and rehabilitating homes. This same attention to detail is reflected in her approach to fashion design, where she seamlessly blends aesthetics with functionality.

Innovative Sub-Brands Under the TMC Umbrella

Under the TMC umbrella, Treena has developed two specialty sub-brands, each offering a unique take on the fusion of work and athleisure. The first sub-brand is dedicated to headwear crafted from high-quality fabrics, featuring impeccable craftsmanship and innovative designs that allow for a seamless transition from the office to more relaxed settings. The second sub-brand focuses on stylish yet comfortable attire, such as sweatsuits and T-shirts, offering versatility and timeless style. These options complement the suits perfectly, embodying a balance of comfort and sophistication.

Honored to Be Part of a Platform that Celebrates Black Designers

Adding to the excitement, Treena is deeply honored to be part of an incredible platform for Black designers, created by the visionary Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily. Claire has been a trailblazer in uplifting and showcasing Black talent in the fashion industry.

Being involved with a platform that uplifts and showcases young Black talent in the fashion industry is not only an honor but also incredibly exciting to be a part of,” says Treena.

A Multifaceted Career Spanning Fashion and Design

In 2013, Treena relocated from Atlanta to Los Angeles, marking a new chapter in her career. However, she continues to maintain a bi-coastal lifestyle, living a dynamic triangle between Ohio, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, while spending time with her parents on the East Coast.

“A DREAM won’t let you rest,”  Treena reflects on her ongoing journey, a testament to her resilience, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her passions. The Treena Marie Collection is not just a brand—it’s a reflection of her life’s work and vision, combining the best of fashion, design, and entrepreneurial spirit.

FKA Twigs Struts in a Brown Leather Celine Look with Windowsen Boots While Promoting ‘The Crow’ in New York

British musician FKA Twigs was photographed in New York promoting ‘The Crow,’ and she looked as if she came out of the matrix in a chocolate leather Celine look paired with matching Windowsen boots.

With fall exactly one month away, stars are giving us a taste of textured co-ord sets. FKA Twigs Celine leather jacket and mini skirt gave us main character energy.

Her $1,073 Metal Dragon thigh high boots by Windowsen reminded us of Rick Owens leather platforms boots with the exception of the skinny heel.

This monochromatic ensemble on FKA Twigs felt luxe and elevated. Her black pony tail attached to her blonde bald head felt original and progressive.

We thought FKA Twigs definitely pulled this fierce and edgy look off!

Madam Vice President Kamala Harris wore a Tan Custom Chloe Suit to Day 1 of the 2024 Democratic National Committee

The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris made a spectacular appearance on Monday during day 1 of the Democratic National Committee in Chicago.

Dressed to the nines, in a custom tan Chloe suit by the French luxury brand Creative Director Chemena Kamali, Harris was the breakout star of the evening.

In her structured and tailor suit while exuding power and professionalism, the VP gave a special thanks to President Joe Biden with a proper farewell.

Harris stated, “Joe, thank you for your historic leadership, for your lifetime of service to our nation and for all you will continue to do. We are forever grateful to you.”

Her tan single breasted Chloe suit was complimented with a white charmeuse blouse, and wide leg trousers. For cohesion, she opted for matching tan stilettos that tied her ensemble together, and left a lasting impression on social media.

Many people on social media complimented VP Harris tan suit, while others made a distinct comparison to the tan suit that former President Obama wore in August 2014 designed by the late tailor Georges de Paris.

Whether Vice President Kamala Harris was inspired by the former President or not, it great to see her blossoming as she embarks on the US Presidential role, and we look forward to seeing more of her marvelous outfit choices during the DNC.

Fashion Bomb Couple: Letoya Luckett Wore a Gold $425 Patbo Top and $895 Skirt with Her Hubby Taleo Coles at Martha’s Vineyard (Shop Here!)

“You ask, we answer! @_missgrant says, : Can we get the details on Toya’s ️‍🔥 outfit?”

Letoya Luckett and Taleo Coles tied the knot last month, and over the weekend the love birds were captured embarking on a family getaway at Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

The former Destiny Child member was glowing as she basked in the sunlight wearing a gold Patbo set. Her $425 metallic fringe bralette, and $895 fringe maxi skirt was the ultimate summer look to turn heads.

Complimented with crocheted metallic trim, and layers of metallic fringe, both her top and skirt offered movement as she sashayed around the vineyard. Luckett opted for clear open-toe heels, while accessorizing with Sister Love gold hoop earrings, and Chrome Hearts shades.

Her husband and entrepreneur bae, Taleo Coles kept things preppy with an urban appeal. The private businessman who enjoys staying under the radar, wore a white Dior button up shirt , with distress blue jeans. He kept things fresh with multicolor sneakers and a white vineyard cap.

Letoya appeared to be happy as she posed alongside her family and girlfriends including Mielle Organics founder Monique Rodriguez. In fact, Letoya’s Patbo and Monique’s Louis Vuitton outfits coordinated exceptionally well for their quaint escapade.

We adored this Patbo metallic set on Letoya Luckett and we love seeing her and her hubby in their honey moon phase!

Sha’Carri Richardson Debuted Custom Embellished Nails During the 2024 Olympics By Nail Extraordinaire Kelly Phan

Could Sha’Carri Richardson be the next Flo-Jo with her record-setting athleticism and unique sense of style? Possibly, and during the 2024 Olympics, her fashion-forward themed nails were on full display.

The track & field sprinter who is known for her flashy manicures, showcased her patriotism with coffin and stiletto nails, custom made by New York nail artist Kelly Phan.

Pham, who has been featured in Vogue Magazine, New York Magazine Harper’s Bazaar, and Allure, was specially sought out by Richardson to create a variety of press-on nail sets.

For the first set that Jacqueline created for the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, she used the national colors red, white and blue to exhibit American pride. “I highlighted the set with an American flag, embellished french tips, and jewels” explained Phan.

In addition to coordinating with the US team, the nail extraordinaire also catered to Richardson’s personal style with a bright neon and colorful stiletto set for her 100M semi final. Her bedazzled out nails included handpicked beads and gemstones to reflect a mosaic design.

Kelly Phan’s passion for manicuring is quite evident through her whimsical and brilliant designs. Contrary to the second set that she made for Richardson, for her third set she kept things more understated with purple and lavender hues.

Richardson was captured with prayer hands before winning the silver medal in the 100M final, and her nail designs harmonized perfectly with USA’s track and field uniform colors.

For the last nail set that Phan custom made for Richardson, she went golden with a tiger like tip design that had gold studs outlining the nude base. The inspiration behind her final nail set was for Sha’Carri to win a gold medal which she did in the Women’s 4x100m Relay.

The gold medalist wore her fourth set at the Men’s Basketball Olympic Games Final between France and Team USA while sitting alongside Jimmy Fallon and Carmelo Anthony.

Kelly Phan has proven that she is an exceptional manicurist who is a force to be reckoned with. Each of the bejeweled nail design sets that she created for Sha’Carri Richardson were architectural, iconic and unlike anything we’ve seen before.

See more of her work on Instagram here.
