Celebrities are taking social media by storm in their Halloween costumes this year. From Kim Kardashian who dressed up as an albino alligator to her daughter North West channeling singer H.E.R, the costumes are in full swing.
Lizzo showed us exactly why her face card never declines as she posed in front of Chanel in her face card costume, while Ciara embodied Naomi Campbell from her head down to her toes. CiCi wasn’t the only one tapping into character as Winnie Harlow looked exactly like the legendary Diana Ross during the 70’s.
In addition, Niecy Nash and her wife Jessica Betts allowed us to reminisce on one of our favorite movies “Coming to America” as they dressed up as Lisa McDowell and Prince Akin.

The 2024 CFDA fashion Awards presented by Amazon Fashion took place Monday evening at the American Museum of Natural History and this year they honored Miss Erykah Badu with the Fashion Icon award.
The singer, songwriter, producer and actress who has become well known for making a fashion statement over the years, arrived in a full getup. Donning a black and white Thom Browne ensemble, we couldn’t take our eyes off Badu whose face was bejeweled.
With a variety of crystals including malachite, onyx, and rose quartz, her dynamic headpiece reminded us of exactly why she was the perfect recipient of such a prestigious award.
Outkast member Andree 3000, who shares a child name Seven with Badu, presented the legendary artists with her CFDA award.
In addition to Erykah Badu being honored, other honorees of the evening included Michael Kors, Daniel Roseberry and Isabel Toledo.

Former City Girls member turned solo artist, JT is in her prime and she looked sizzling hot at the CFDA awards. As someone who’s known to step outside of the box and rock some of the most avant-garde designers, she opted for Guvanch. Edgy, with buckles wrapped around her from her bust down to her ankles, she looked like a bad A$$.
LaLa looked like the queen of the jungle in a zebra printed Jacquemus dress that subtly hung off her shoulders. Her dotted calf skin pumps added a nice contrast to her ensemble. When it came to her accessories, she wore layered chocker necklaces with statement earrings, and a black headband that showcased her fierce beat.
Leave it to Ciara to turn heads all throughout the night in a black and white Vera Wang look that was modern and appeasing to look at. Her skirt which folded at the hips was on trend, and her platform boots were the perfect shoe candy.
Winnie Harlow looked incredible and majestic in a Kate Barton gown that gave us fairytale vibes. Did anyone say Cinderella or Snow White? The model who’s know to slay a runway, didn’t disappoint , and the theatrics were on full display.
She is a chameleon in the entertainment and fashion world and her name is Teyana Taylor (as if you didn’t already know.) Taylor, opted for a sexy black LaQuan Smith bodycon dress that featured cutouts down the sides. We really got the chance to see her dancer body, and if anyone stole the show, it was certainly her in this hot number.
Also opting for a black LaQuan Smith dress was Victoria Monet, who was another stunner on the carpet. Based off of all the stunning looks she served this year alone, I think it’s safe to say that she can pull anything off. Absolutely exquisite!
We all know that Paris Hilton and her family loves an Oscar De La Renta dress and for the special evening, she wore exactly that. She arrived in a red 3D floral mini dress that was tailored to perfection. After all these years, Hilton still has that spark which makes her an Icon in the fashion world.
All white never looked so good, and Angel Reese looked angelic at the CFDA awards. Rocking a white halter style dress by designer Simkhai, with a white fur coat, she embodied royalty. Her platinum blond hair was a nice touch and we loved how she added contrast with her maroon colored heels. Talk about confidence!
We all know that Kylie Jenner isn’t afraid to take a risk and in this industry, that’s something to be admired. For the CFDA awards, the youngest sister of the Kardashian family looked spiked out in a black Jean Paul Gaultier dress. We loved the play on texture, and from her hair down to her shoes, her ensemble was impressive.
Representing for the young, talented and beautiful girls everywhere, Tyla posed in a black lace Gucci dress that she layered over lime green boy shorts. Her strappy heels add dimension to her ensemble that exuded ultra sex appeal.

Beyonce and Kelly Rowland showed their support for Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally in Houston, with Beyonce in a $1,650 Wardrobe NYC x RHW Blazer Dress , styled by Shiona Turini, and Kelly Rowland in a Fear of God Gray and White Striped Suit, styled by Wilford Lenov:
The rally focused on Reproductive Rights, and fittingly, Beyonce and Kelly showcased the power and range of women with masculine and feminine looks.
Designed in collaboration with Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Beyonce’s Italian wool blend dress has a sculptural silhouette with statement shoulders.
Kelly’s suit is from Fear of GOD’s Spring 2025 collection. She paired it with an Amiri shirt and tie.

Founder and Designer Anifa Mvuemba is blazing a new trail with her latest Fall/Winter 2024 ready-to-wear brand, Hanifa, and she is forging a new future in the fashion industry with her avant-garde designs.
Entitled “It Girl,” her latest collection consists of a variety of must-have pieces that are characterized with vibrant colors, bold prints and feminine silhouettes. In addition to her RTW collection, the Hanifa brand also offers stunning bridal wear and handbags.
Mvuemba, who originally launched her collection back in 2012 has come a long way, becoming highly sought after by celebrities and fashionista’s alike.
“Fashion Bomb Daily” was a huge part of Hanifa in the beginning because the platform that Claire Sulmers created put Haifa in the forefront of black woman who is our biggest customer base,” shared Mvuemba. “I always tell Claire, you don’t even know what you did for this brand, and we’ve had so many viral moments because of FBD which I hold that very dare to my heart.”
Inspired by New York City’s concrete jungle, Anifa wanted to center her collection around how diverse and wondrous New York is, which is reflective in her use of animal print and texture.
“Originally we were supposed to have a show for NYFW, but they didn’t give us a date on the calendar,” explained Mvuemba, “So I dead-ed that and decided to do my own thing off calendar and the vibe of the collection was “It-Girl” which speaks to myself as a black woman, and a designer in this difficult industry.”
Despite the lack of diversity and inclusivity at New York Fashion Week, that hasn’t stopped Anifa from making her dreams a reality. From Michelle Obama, and Beyonce to Sarah Jessica Parker and Cardi B, she has undoubtedly created a renowned brand despite the gate-keepers.
“Anifa wears a lot of hats and aside from being a creative, she’s an extraordinary business woman” said Yesmin Anthony, the COO of Hanifa. “That’s one thing I really admire that she’s able to do both really well.“
In the next 5-years, Anifa Mvuemba see’s herself owning a department store that is entirely dedicated to her lifestyle brand. “I want to be as big as a department store but Hanifa everything when you walk in,” she exclaimed. “My God is BIG so why would I think small?“

Channeling Cher with a long bone straight buss down, the ‘Dune‘ actress looked absolutely incredible as she stood behind Cher while she delivered her induction acceptance speech.
Originally from Bob Mackie’s ‘Foreign Intrigue’ collection, the Fall 2001 dress was complimented with a silk satin trench coat that had an exaggerated collar and cuffs.

Singer Ella Mai and Beyonce were spied in a black and white Retrofête suit on different occasions but they both styled the double breasted suit in their own individual way.
Queen Beyonce wore the Retrofête Fall 2024 runway collection to a horse racing event in California.
Opting for the full set, including the double breasted Lucina blazer, matching trench jacket and mini skirt, Bey looked so high fashion. Her black tights. pointy toe stilettos and platinum hair color added to her glamour appeal.
Contrary to the ‘Cowboy Carter’ singer, Ella Mai wore the matching set on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but chose not to wear the trench coat as a third layering piece.
She kept her hair pulled back in a bun showcasing her beautiful facial features, and instead of pointy stilettos she slayed the scene in black feather pumps.
Sheryl Lee Ralph and TV Host Tamron Hall were also spotted rocking the same look with minor styling adjustments. Both ladies wore a brown Ronny Kobo Amschel Houndstooth Cut-Out Jumpsuit that had a deep V-neck, notched lapels, and cutout details.
Ralph wore her jumpsuit to the Glsen Rise Up LA event while be honored with the Champion Award. She wore a dark brown cami underneath with a medium brown belt, and brown stilettos.
Hall, on the other hand, opted for a white button up shirt and tie under her Ronny Kobo jumpsuit while shooting her Tamara Hall show. Rather than a medium brown belt, she went for a skinny brown belt that stitched in her small frame.
