So the day before the NAACP awards, I spent 24 hours in Philly to host a screening of the latest episode of Ready to Love!
In case you don’t watch, the Bomb dating show’s current season takes place in the City of Brotherly Love! Resident fashionista and stylist Shani J tapped yours truly to bless the festivities and moderate a panel on dating, love, and relationships.
It seems the Philadelphia dating scene leaves a little to be desired, however I met several amazing and eligible hopefuls, including Tae, Husienn, Kiara, and Rose.
For the occasion, I wore a pink Alexandre Vauthier dress, Louboutin heels, and a stole from FGM Bespoke! By pure coincidence, I matched with the hostest with the mostest, who looked lovely in Boiscamp.
I had a fabulous time in Chilly Philly before getting on a flight right back to LA for the NAACP Image Awards!
My spring schedule is already filling up! To have me come to your city, email Book@clairesulmers.com.
Thank you to the Bombers and Bombshells of Philadelphia for your warm hospitality. You’re the bomb!
It’s been a great week for A$AP Rocky and Rihanna! For starters, the ‘Fashion Killa’ rapper was acquitted of all assault charges against former friend A$AP Relli inside a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday.
For his glorious victory, A$AP Rocky wore a dark grey Saint Laurent FW24 pinstripe suit that he layered over a blue and white button up shirt, and paired with a white sleek tie.
Rihanna who looked like she was relieved that it was all over, mirrored her beau in a light grey oversize pinstripe suit and top, with khaki trousers. She accessorized with a Dior leather bag and snakeskin boots.
In case you’re wondering if their ‘corporate’ looks were just for the courtroom, then think again. The latest trend on the horizon is “Office Core’and this upcoming Spring season we will see a multitude of womenswear with traditionally masculine elements. Think oversized and fitted suiting, tailored silhouettes, button-up shirts and polished loafers.”
Which is exactly why just 2 days after A$AP Rocky was found not guilty, Rihanna celebrated her 37th birthday donning a camel YSL suit from the brand’s Spring 2025 collection.
She was captured leaving dinner at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, with her camel blazer layered over a white collar shirt, and paired with a merlot pinstripe tie. With the upcoming MET Gala theme being, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” Rihanna and A$AP Rocky just may be getting a head start.
There is a gender-fluid shift happening in fashion and we will begin to see more women incorporating menswear elements into their wardrobe. We thought Rihanna and A$AP Rocky both look stylishly in love on both occasions, and they’re proving that if anyone can master the ‘office core’ trend, it’s undeniably these two!
With the ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour set to kick off in Los Angeles on Monday, April 28, we are bound to see Beyonce donning some of the hottest western inspired looks.
Queen B debuted her latest Levis collaboration on Tuesday, posing in a denim-on-denim look consisting of a blue medium wash denim vest, wide-leg jeans, and a denim paisley printed trench jacket. She opted for custom Amina Muaddi ‘Yigit’ platform heels with her initials featured on the bottom to complete her ensemble.
Last September if you recall, Beyonce left fans in awe with her initial Levis “REIMAGINE” campaign that was inspired by the brand’s classic 1986 “Launderette” ad. This campaign is a continuation of the brand’s REIMAGINE series, highlighting creativity, sustainability and embracing contemporary culture.
Bey looked absolutely flawless, and her glam had the right amount of radiance, definition and drama. Her long blonde platinum hair had soft curls, adding dimension and making her hair look full and luscious.
If this is a glimpse of the amazing western outfits to come, then we can’t way to see Beyonce in full swing during her ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour.
Rita Cynder once quoted, “Good girls are made of sugar and spice, cowgirls are made of whiskey on ice.” Did anyone say, SirDavis?
The event which celebrates and showcases black talent in the film and television industry brought out a slew of celebs including Tika Sumpter, Aaron Pierre and LisaRaye McCoy.
The Balmain Strapless Illusion Shirt gown that KeKe opted for looked impressive on the ‘Master of Me’ author. Apart of Olivier Rousteing’s Resort 2025 collection, the bustier dress bore a distinct resemblance to a classic white button up with a modern twist.
Her long-sleeve cotton dress had a poplin texture, and draping throughout for the perfect wrap silhouette. Her thigh-high slit added sex appeal, and showcased her black stilettos. We adored her gold bee pendent that matched with her gold button cuffs.
Our fashion bombers and bombshells were here for KeKe’s latest red carpet look. In a video of the actress posted to Fashion Bomb daily’s instagram page that has amassed 17K likes, fans shared their admiration for Hollywood’s leading lady.
@mor_of_nunu shared, “She constantly been on our necks and I love it,” while @famegeneration expressed, “This woman is one of the hardest young black female entertainment artist ever. Keke knows how to keep going and Hollywood loves her. 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 “
This Balmain dress was so glamorous on Keke Palmer and from her auburn hair down to her pumps, she literally ATE!
Sergio Hudson is revolutionizing the fashion industry with his ground-breaking designs, and he is reshaping American sportswear one design at a time.
The South Carolina native, who quickly gained popularity for his standout pieces, debuted his Fall/Winter ’25 collection at NeueHouse Madison Square in New York City and what a sight to behold.
Hudson, who launched his brand over a decade ago, continues to develop and expand his designs season after season. In addition to his signature tailored suiting that has become synonymous with his brand, Sergio introduced new textures and fabrications on the runway showing him to be a chameleon.
We saw a surplus of tweed and structured suiting, but we also saw some of the most opulent Mongolian furs, and suede trench coats, that exuded glamour and luxury.
Hudson showcased a variety of rich jewel tone palettes consisting of burgundy, hunter green and electric blue for the perfect fashion statement. He showed his ability to master a chic monochromatic look from head-to-toe.
In addition to all the fabulous garments, Sergio collaborated with Stuart Weitzman to design a custom capsule collection featuring stiletto boots, booties, and pumps.
The craftsmanship of his Fall/Winter ’25 line was spot-on, and seamless, and it was great to see Hudson introduce chunky knit sweaters for the first time– a proven timeless staple.
Just as remarkable as the womenswear line, was Sergio’s menswear collection which he presented for a second consecutive season during NYFW. From a cognac leather trench to the most luxurious grey fur coat, and a chocolate velvet suit, his menswear collection was well executed.
Hudson continues to surpass our expectations with his distinct creativity, originality and attention to detail. His designs are innovative and over-the-top , showing his commitment to the craft. If anyone has shown us that they can bring a concept to reality, it’s Sergio Hudson.

Every New York Fashion Week, Christian Siriano is one of the most anticipated designers to debut his collection on the runway, and this season he didn’t disappoint.
The award-winning CFDA designer who has over a wealth of experience creating breathtaking garments, originally studied under the likes of Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Since creating his own eponymous collection in 2008, Christian Siriano has carved out a lane for himself in the fashion industry, setting RTW and couture ablaze.
“For the Fall/Winter 2025 season, I was really inspired by the idea of futurism and modern technology – namely the movement, lines and craftsmanship shared between fashion and auto design, and the innovation that comes with it,” shared Siriano in a press release.
The room was painted red, with beautiful red bouquet florals, and a Toyota Crown centered at the runway to bring Christian’s vision alive. Winnie Harlow opened the show in a black halter style dress that had a built-in corset, and red silk draping across the arm and skirt.
We saw bold hues, and tactile fabrics used to resemble the raw materials of a car such as steel, glass and leather. Siriano’s collection showcased a magnitude of different avant-garde silhouettes.
In collaboration with Hulu, he designed a custom red cloak inspired by the sixth and final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” returning this Spring. The model voluminous hood shed on the runway as a symbolic act of liberation and empowerment.
In addition to the captivating red and metallic palettes, Christian also incorporated royal purple into his collection. From a sequins two-piece set, to a sheer corset gown, and a spectacular sequins coat, the use of purple embodied femininity, and romanticism.
Christian Siriano did a wonderful job at curating a collection that felt progressive, modern, and technically driven. His exceptional use of color and shapes brought his collection to life, and it’s incredible to watch him evolve over the years.

Fashion is more than just clothing—it’s an art form, a statement, and for Tiara Peach, it’s a way of life. As the visionary behind FGM Bespoke, a standout fur brand based in St. Louis, Peach has carved out a space for herself in an industry where few Black women have had the opportunity to shine. “In this industry, there’s not a lot of women. Not a lot of Black women. It’s difficult, but I’m out here and I’m doing it!” she proudly states. And doing it, she is.
Born and raised in Chicago, Tiara Peach’s journey into fashion started early, influenced by her mother and grandmother, who taught her the art of quilting. From pinning together her own doll clothes as a child to attending Columbia College and Harper University in Illinois for fashion marketing and merchandising, Peach was always destined for design. However, her path took an unexpected turn when she initially pursued beauty school and became a traveling makeup artist. Then, the pandemic hit, she found herself falling deeply in love with the world of fur. Four years later, she’s dominating it.
FGM Bespoke, which stands for Furry Godmother Bespoke, was named in honor of a close friend who passed away. “She was a radio host and always supported us. She once told me, ‘You’re like the Furry Godmother.’ And the name just stuck.” Now, Peach is using her brand to empower women through bold, statement-making pieces that are as unique as the women who wear them. “The best customer is the Black woman. It’s one of their own who’s actually doing it. Supporting your own people. Trying to cater to all types of Black women. We’re vibrant. We love to be creative and different.”

Her signature designs include neon cropped Kiki furs, candy cane pants, and red denim with fox swirls, each piece crafted with meticulous detail and Peach’s own personal touch. “I make it for myself first, and then I do it for everyone else,” she says with a laugh. Her favorite? A stunning leopard gown with fur trim , exuding luxury and drama.

Peach’s design process is far from conventional. She draws inspiration everywhere—shopping, streetwear, and even existing pieces she reimagines. “I’ll see something and think, ‘Hmm, I wonder how that would look with some fur on there.’” Whether it’s adding fur trims to denim, mixing textures, or designing from scratch, her approach is both innovative and personal. “Fur isn’t as easy as you think. You have to stretch it, nail it on a board, cut it with special tools—it’s a whole different process because it’s skin rather than fabric.”

Her work has garnered attention from style icons like Mary J. Blige, Latto, Brit Eady, and Claire Sulmers, all of whom embody the confidence and boldness that her designs represent. But beyond the glitz and glamour, Peach is dedicated to sustainability and legacy. She often works on heirloom projects, repurposing cherished fur pieces into pillows, blankets, vests, or even teddy bears. “Fur lasts forever,” she says. “It’s not just about fashion, it’s about creating something meaningful that can be passed down.”
For Tiara Peach, fur isn’t just about keeping warm—it’s about making a statement. “It’s not about the weather, it’s about the fashion,” she declares. And with a growing clientele, a devoted fan base, and an unwavering passion for her craft, there’s no doubt that Tiara Peach means fur business.
It’s always a celebration when Destiny Child links up and the trio’s latest reunion was in honor of Kelly Rowlands 44th birthday.
The dream team gathered for a special candlelit dinner surrounded by palm trees, and luxurious zebra-print seating. Kelly look joyful and elated while donning a deep purple Lena Berisha halter gown that fit her like a glove. Her signature bob hair cut, had subtle brown highlights, complimenting her smokey eyeshadow and bronze metallic lipstick.
While Beyonce was absent from the Superbowl on Sunday, she made sure to show up for her bestie’s birthday. Bey arrived in true fashion, turning heads in a black vintage Patrick Kelly dress that was adorned with gold buttons, styled by Shiona Turini.
Patrick Kelly was a former black American designer who rose to fame during the 80’s in France. He became the first American to be admitted to the prestigious governing body of the French ready-to-wear industry, Chambre syndicale du prêt-à-porter des couturiers et des créateurs de mode. In January 1990, Kelly died from complications with AIDS, but not without leaving behind a legacy of beautiful and timeless designs.
In addition to Kelly Rowland, and Beyonce exceptional looks, Michelle Williams looked sultry and glamorous in a custom red Gasanova crystal dress, styled by Wilford Lenov. Williams hair was pulled back into a single braid, showcasing her angelic features, and making her look like a true work of art.
We loved seeing Destiny Child reunite for Kelly’s birthday, and they all looked so fabulous! Hopefully this bomb trio will go on tour again for old times sake.
Strikingly beautiful and audacious, Kelly Rowland debuted her 44th birthday shoot on Instagram Tuesday, leaving people stunned by how spectacular the ‘Motivation’ singer looked.
Rowland who looks like she’s “Forever 21”, posed in a custom blue Pajtim Raci X Psychward Vision Studio bandeau and thong set, styled by Wilford Lenov. Both characterized with bows, and paired with matching metallic pumps, Kelly was wrapped to perfection.
Her glam was flawless, radiant and dreamy with velvety foundation, gold pigmented shadow, and a nude glossy lip.
The diamond necklace she wore enhanced her natural beauty, adding luxury, and elegance to her birthday outfit. Her statement balloon headpiece added a nice avant-garde touch to her ensemble.
On Kelly’s Instagram page, her celebrity friends wished her a happy birthday including Kim Kardashian, Ciara, and Solange Knowles among many.
Ciara shared, “Love you so much Kellz! Best Mommy, Sister, and Friend… and the most Beautiful Queen you are!🫅🎂,” while former Destiny Child member Letoya Luckett wrote, “It don’t make no daggone sense how gorgeous you are!!! 😩😍 Happy Burfday beautiful!! Love you!!”
Kelly Rowland is aging backwards, and she’s the perfect representation of the saying, “black don’t crack.” She looked absolutely incredible for her birthday shoot, and we’re waiting for her to divulge all her beauty secrets.
