So I’m in Lagos, Nigeria!!
The kind folks at DZRPT Fashion brought Pierre and I over to visit boutiques, fabric markets, and learn more about the Nigerian Fashion Industry!
We flew in yesterday on Arik Air, and they lost my bag. They still haven’t found it. I want to cry.
Thankfully my girl Kanayo is in town, and has been finding me clothes to wear until Arik locates my rogue suitcase. For a night out, I wore a printed set by Eve & Tribe, a Nigerian brand with affordable separates. Some neon fuzzy sandals, and I was good to go!
I’m currently recovering from a night of too much champagne (!), but once I get rested again, I’ll be updating this site and TheBombLife.com with pix of my stylish Nigerian finds. I can’t wait!
So far, so great, however (minus the bag situation). Everyone is really welcoming, and the food is banging (I already love Joloff rice and peppered snails).
Stay tuned for more from Lasgidi!

*Thanks to Kunbi, Kanayo, and the folks at Shop Meidei for the threads.
*In the meantime does anyone have an ‘in’ at Arik Air? I really would love my bag back:)
