This month has been all about travel. In the past 30 days, I’ve been to Brazil, back and forth to LA, and am headed to Trinidad and Tobago on Friday for their Fashion Week!
A few days ago found me on the West Coast for a Tea Time Brunch hosted by Breann Cook of Divas N Dolls.

The premise of the event is to network with like minded individuals over a meal, tea, and sweet treats and have a candid conversation about life, careers, and more.

Though I wasn’t expecting to make a speech, I went ahead and did it! My message: follow your passion. When I first started blogging I was working a 9-5 job, aching to break into fashion. With loads of sacrifice and hard work, I was able to accomplish my goals.
At any rate, it was great to meet and greet LA Bombshells, many of whom have great online boutiques (I’ll be featuring a few this week).

For the occasion, I wanted to go for my signature classic with a kick, so slipped on a skirt suit in all white.

I shopped my closet, and plucked a pencil skirt from Victoria’s Secret, a wrap top, and a Theory blazer I scored at TJ Maxx.

Versace sandals, a Saint Laurent clutch, and Moschino’s ‘Good Girl’ belt added gold accents.

What do you think?
Tonight I’m heading to a party with Common, then catching a flight to Trinidad and Tobago on Friday.
I’ll be keeping you updated;) Stay tuned to this space and TheBombLife.com for updates!

*I randomly ran into Lance Gross at the restaurant (it’s called Madera’s Kitchen, and is delicious!). He hadn’t planned to stop by, and was just grabbing brunch with his gorgeous wife and baby.

He says wassup, y’all!
