Dark, gothic and edgy with a touch of avant-garde, the Dark Lord of fashion, Rick Owens has done it again with his elaborate display of high fashion grunge.
Attendees gathered around the customary stage at Palais de Tokyo with neon pink and yellow fog filling the sky as models walked around the garden in the most demonic and iconic silhouettes.

Inspired by Icelandic Artist, Björk who’s concert he attended earlier in September, Owen’s collection was a symbolism of hope.
We saw hope shine through with Owens advancement of color from dark to light throughout his collection, along with the flower pedals that fell from the sky.

From black on black ensembles paired with sheer face masks and motorcycles jackets that had over-exaggerated and pointed lapels, to soft pink blush asymmetrical dresses styled with bright mustard colored gloves, Owens crafted his LIDO collection with an architectural eye.

We saw Owens mix chiffon, sheer and leather fabrics into unconventional designs and when it came down to accessorizing, he introduced his latest platform heel with thick straps featured across the front that complimented his signature square toe.

Models got into full character with their eyes blacked out for an eerie and dramatic aesthetic to carry out the dark theme.
As the show progressed with ultra saturated shades, Owens was nonrestricted when it came to innovative and fresh shapes such as the silk voluminous parachute trains on various of his garments.
If you anyone was thinking outside of the box during Paris Fashion Week, it was certainly Rick Owens who allowed attendees into the evolution of his dark and mysterious fashion world.

The floral red scenery with a percussion ensemble (including a pianist, flute and drum player), set the tone for the fantastical show that took us on an artistic journey.
Inspired by the late textile, wallpaper and craft designer, Felice “Lizzi” Rix-Ueno, after coming across her work at the MAK Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, Kriemler chose to bring a spotlight to her artistry.
We definitely see hints of Rix-Ueno through the bold prints, and use of hand-painting exhibited throughout Akris Spring 2024 garments.

In addition to vibrant colors, we saw models in all white monochromatic ensembles including white embroidered jacket and skirt combos, and a white organza blazers. Metallics also made a peak-a-boo debut on the runway as Spring 2024 will be all about the silver futuristic hue.

Turning heads left and right with models sashaying in fringe dresses, skirts and even tank-tops, Akris added additional dimension with their various use of silk fringe.
Taking a closer look at the construction of each garment, you can certainly see Akris’s attention to detail with their double face stitching, and luxurious use of high quality fabrics.

Sitting front row next to Tracee Ellis Ross with her poker face on, Harvey looked on trend with a red turtleneck top that she layered with a red suede trench jacket. Not to mention her red pants that went below her ankles for an 80’s feel and complimented her red patent leather pumps.
Bringing contrast to her look with a pure white Ferragamo handbag, Lori’s outfit felt elevated and luxurious with a touch of beauty and glamour.

Opting to make a bold statement and rubbing shoulders with the infamous Anna Wintour, Usher wore a red polka-dot Marni suit that was adorned with embellished pins and accessorized with red leather gloves.
His colorful diamond necklaces and rings added more creative depth, and his black alien inspire shades added modernity.
Also taking part in the red trend was business mogul Kylie Jenner who could have been easily been mistaken for her older sister Kim Kardashian in an all red Acne Studio dress at Paris Fashion week on Wednesday.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder and youngest self-made billionaire sister served body in her long sleeve Acne Studio maxi dress that she paired with a red leather mini bag and silver and black oversized shades.
Perhaps it was the bangs that gave off the Kim mystique or the outlined gloss lips, one thing for sure is that Kris Jenner has dominant genes.

Repetition is reputation and is if anyone is bound to consistently push the envelope, it’s certainly Beyoncé who has showed us that she is in fact a style icon with her magnificent stage costumes through out her Renaissance tour.
In a recent photoshoot, Queen B looked comfortable and cozy in a rich opaque green Venus Prototype monochromatic latex ensemble that was vastly different and avant-garde.

Looking like the master piece that she is, Beyoncé latex dress had a hidden corset, underwire, and was characterized with a hood and fully gloved details.
It felt like perfect timing to see Bey holding the moon in her photoshoot as there’s a full moon on the rise tomorrow. After all, in ‘Black Parade’ she did say “she charges her crystals in a full moon,” and we’re definitely here for that energy.

Iced out in diamonds with a choker necklace and diamond embellished green shades, Beyoncé looked like perfection.
If anyone set the tone this year with her Renaissance World Tour, it was Queen B who came with the incredible vocals, unimaginable stage costumes, and exquisite beauty.
Beyoncé has set the bar high and has exceeded all of our expectations, and we couldn’t be more proud to have such a talented representation of black excellence apart of our culture.

After a lush Italia wedding, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are welcoming their first child together, aw!
During a Blink-182 show in June, Kardashian revealed the big news with a sign reading ‘TRAVIS, I’M PREGNANT’ a throwback to the visuals of the band’s 90’s hit All The Small Things.
The celebrity couple announced that they are expecting a baby boy this fall, and much like their wedding, their baby shower was nothing short of magical. Inspired by “the happiest place on earth,” the shower was Disneyland-themed with a Baby Barker sign resembling the park’s It’s A Small World attraction.

While Kourtney clothed her baby bump in a snake print jumpsuit, she accessorized on theme with Mickey Mouse ears. However, with a family full of fashion icons, this sentimental event was one of celebration and style.
Kourtney’s younger sister Kim and ––budding style icon–– niece North West, pulled up in vintage Chanel.

In an epic mommy and me moment, Kim and North coordinated in cropped Chanel cardigans from the brand’s Spring 1995 collection and leather mini skirts. While Kim finished her look with open-toe platform sandals, North went the way of knee-high boots.

What better way to celebrate the expansion of your family than in style?
It’s been a little over a week since Nicki Minaj hosted the VMA awards, and she’s already back in studio ready to make new music.
Minaj, 40, who has proven time and again that she is an unapologetic lyricist and rap tycoon, is on the brink of releasing her fifth album, “Pink Friday 2” which will release on November 17th.
When it came down to her shoe candy, the Harajuku Barbie opted for multicolored embossed mesh and leather-trimmed sneakers that retails for $790.

In addition, Minaj accessorized with a multicolored Louis Vuitton Takashi Murakami collection handbag that had LV’s signature monogram print, and was characterized with gold hardware.

Nicki Minaj’s sporty chic ensemble was the perfect studio look to lay down some bars in the studio and we know the “Barbz” can’t wait for “Pink Friday 2” to release so that the Queen of Rap can go on tour and put her competition to rest.
Beyoncé’s critically-acclaimed Renaissance World Tour is coming to an end on October 1st, and what would her tour be without her original cast members making a debut over the weekend to show their support?
It still would be fabulous of course, but perhaps seeing Latoya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Kelly Rowland who Beyoncé initially started Destiny Child with was a full circle ah-ha moment for the Queen who went solo in 2003 with her studio album, Dangerously in Love.
The group who reached massive success in such a short period of time ended up departing ways in 2000, with Roberson expressing to People magazine that she was in fact dismissed from the group. She discovered she was no longer in the group after the “Say My Name” video released and she and Luckett were replaced with singers Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.
As we all know there’s 3 sides to a story, each person’s side and then the actual truth but it looks like they have let bygones be bygones.
Luckett stayed on trend with her silver corset and black cowgirl hat, while Roberson wore a black lace embellished catsuit with dangling diamond earrings.

In addition to Luckett, Roberson and Beyoncé’s sister Kelly, Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams also made a pitstop at the Renaissance tour to see Bey perform in all her glory.
Although Franklin only lasted in the group for a few months before personally choosing to depart, she arrived all smiles in a black two piece crystal corset and pants combo, while Williams wore a black crop top that had rhinestone fringe and was layered with a silver sequins blazer.
Rowland, who never disappoints opted for her bedazzling silver top that shined brighter then a midnight star.

It was great to see all the cast members of Destiny Child show up to the Houston leg of the Renaissance tour to show their support and admiration for Beyonce, and who knows a few years from now if like SWV and Xscape there will be a reunion.
Only time shall tell, and just in case, we may want to start saving our coins for a reunion tour.
Calling all hotties to the front! Megan Thee Stallion is back and serving beauty look per usual.
The Houston Texas rapper joined alongside Beyonce for her well anticipated Renaissance tour in Houston,Texas last night.
Representing for their city, the Houston natives both served looks and performed a good show, however Megan’s glam is still the talk of social media.
But are we shocked? Glam has always been a natural talent for Megan, and in fact her latest collaboration with cosmetic beauty brand Revlon shows that not only does the rapper have a talent in music, but an eye for beauty as well.
Backstage wearing a Dion Lee SS24 runway look for the ‘gram, Megan Thee Stallion posed pretty in a gold shimmer eyeshadow smokey eye, with an ombre nude lip topped with a gloss, and flawless matte skin finish face.
Without a pore in sight, Megan paired her glam with a jet black part down the middle with curls hairstyle styled by Kellon Deryck. Since making her first performance appearance at the 2023 VMA’s alongside hip-hop artist Cardi B, the rapper has been on a hiatus.
Whether she’s putting in work in the gym, working on music in the studio, or attending events front row and looking fabulous, Megan Thee Stallion’s presence was missed and her audience let that be known during her comeback.
Body goals, knee goals, and beauty goals, is there anything that ‘Thee Stallion’ can’t do?
Bombshells, thoughts on Megan Thee Stallion’s beauty look? Hot? Or hmm?
If you don’t know about BoisCamp , then you’re missing out. As seen on, Kash Doll, the Clermont Twins, Jayda Cheaves, and many more, fashion designer Kevon has made it his duty to create clothing specifically for the ‘It Girls.’
From skirts, custom gowns, swimwear, and so much more, Bois Camp is making their mark on the fashion industry as a custom fashion brand with a mix of vintage, luxury and high sex-appeal.
Born and raised in the inner city of Trenton, New Jersey, Kevon discovered his passion for fashion at a young age. He began his journey at just 16, studying fashion at VoTec High School, and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Marketing Management — laying the foundation for what would become his own creative path.
Now 27, Kevon has become known for his daring, conversation-starting designs — including the viral “butt cleavage” silhouette — that showcase his fearless approach to fashion. Unafraid to take risks, he continues to evolve with each collection, proving that Bois Camp isn’t just a brand, but a movement destined to grow stronger with time.
Inspired by trailblazing designers like Ye, Jean Paul Gaultier, Mowalola, and Roberto Cavalli, Kevon admires creatives who break boundaries and redefine fashion on their own terms. “I love and am inspired by how they continue to evolve and get even better as designers,” he said.
With high hopes of one day collaborating with Jean Paul Gaultier or Mugler, the New Jersey designer believes such a partnership would be unforgettable. “I think together, we could change the world — one look at a time,” Kevon expressed.

With big dreams for the future of his brand, Kevon is focused on creating collections that empower the “It Girls” of today to feel sexy, confident, and free. Through his bold designs, Bois Camp has become a safe space for women to embrace their individuality and express their sensuality without apology — a spirit that was fully embodied in his latest collection.
“My most recent collection was inspired by The Weeknd,” said Kevon. “I’m unorthodox — sometimes there’s deep meaning behind a collection, and sometimes it’s just about fun and the art of it all. This time, I really had fun creating each piece.”
It is no surprise that Bois Camp is Kevon’s most greatest possession. With 3 years under his belt, since launching Bois Camp in 2020, the brand has took off and it’s all due to the hard work, dedication, and consistency behind the brand.
“My brand is really my baby, not to sound cliche but my brand is teaching me how to be the best me in any situation,” said Kevon.
In five years, BoisCamp aims to become the go-to brand for individuals confident in their identity and fearless in expressing it through fashion.
“In 5 years, Boiscamp will be the go to brand for the people who get it, because they get it and as for me I see myself being a CFDA member. We are not letting up,” said Kevon. Looking ahead, men may soon have a reason to celebrate — the New Jersey–based designer plans to introduce menswear and unisex pieces designed to make everyone feel sexy, empowered, and unapologetically themselves.
As a Black man in the fashion industry, Kevon’s message is one of perseverance and unity. “My advice for Black male designers is that you got this, and it’s room for all of us!” he said, encouraging others to stay committed to their vision and never give up on their dreams.
