2022 has been a year of major model moments. From Naomi Campbell’s ‘mommy and me,’ Vogue cover to Bella Hadid’s spray-on dress at the Coperni show, Supermodel vets and the newer girls have shown their talent, growth, and passion every time they’ve struck a pose.
Bella Hadid has shown immense growth since her first strut down the runway, and 2022 has been another year of being booked and busy. On top of owning Paris Fashion Week (with 11 shows in 9 days!), she starred in a dazzling Swarovski campaign and covered the April issue of Vogue.
Since the 90s, Naomi Campbell has dominated runways, magazine covers, and campaigns. She’s one of the most recognized models in the world, and even with her new step into motherhood, the supermodel’s reign has not let up. This year Campbell closed the Hugo Boss show alongside Future, starred in the Fendace campaign, and covered British Vogue with her baby girl.
From a cameo in a Beyonce music video to her dynamic walk for iconic houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Smalls’ career has been a joy to watch. Her strut commands attention and her gaze is one of the best in the biz. This year, Smalls was the star of the Anne Klein spring campaign, walked for Tom Ford and served a few sizzling red carpet moments.
Winnie Harlow stepped into her businesswoman bag this year with the launch of Cay Skin, the vegan and cruelty-free skincare line focused on sun protection. Harlow also utilized her voice during the REVOLT x Michelle Obama: The Cross Generational Conversation. She sat alongside former First Lady Michelle Obama, Kelly Rowland, H.E.R., and Tina Knowles-Lawson to discuss Obama’s book The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times.
This year, EmRata starred alongside Sydney Sweeney in the Miu Miu Fall 2022 campaign and struck a pose as the face of Michael Kors x Ellesse Ski 2022. Outside of her modeling, Ratajkowski launched her podcast High Low with EmRata.
Since being discovered at Howard’s homecoming in 2017, Yai has covered multiple international Vogue covers and became only the second Black model (after Naomi Campbell) to open a Prada show. Her rightly deserved rise to the top continued this year with a British Vogue cover in February and an editorial in December.
Precious Lee has been taking the industry by storm. A remarkable representation of a curvy body dominating a space that has, for years, kept curvy bodies out. This year Lee covered Elle, Vogue Portugal, Porter, and Stylist magazine.
This year marked the return of Ashley Graham after she gave birth to twin boys at the top of the year. The fierce mama went on a runway tour walking for Balmain, the amFAR charity gala, Tommy Hilfiger, and Boss.
Like Naomi, Iman is another model vet who still tops the industry. This year she covered British Vogue and launched her fragrance Love Memoire, a tribute to her late husband David Bowie.
King and Queen James were spotted late last week leaving gourmet restaurant Olivetta in West Hollywood after Rich Paul‘s 41st birthday dinner! The couple looked dashing, and Savannah was seen wearing what could be presumed as a steal from her NBA husband’s closet: a menswear duster coat checkered with green, red, black and white. The Louis Vuitton SS22 coat currently goes for $4,045 and is only available in-store at Selfridges. She wore it with a velvet black turtleneck dress, a feather clutch and black mesh pumps. Get the look below:

Yes, you read that right! This past weekend, the world was introduced to Rihanna and A$AP’s son in a surprise post to TikTok. Mama Riri joined TikTok (username @rihanna) to share her first upload to the platform: a never-before-seen video of the adorable little guy conversing in his carseat.
Moments prior, images of their baby boy given exclusively to Hollywood Unlocked circulated online and had the internet going absolutely gaga! From the looks of it, at the tender age of just 7 months old, he is already a fashion killa:
Photo: Hollywood UnlockedPhoto: Hollywood Unlocked
The photos were given exclusively to Hollywood Unlocked, a black media source, for their initial release to reportedly stop paparazzi from publishing unauthorized photos of the baby. While the couple have yet to reveal their child’s name, these photos will certainly keep us all occupied as we patiently await more details regarding their bundle of joy!
When Jenna Ortega takes on a role, she truly commits! With the involvement of her stylist Enrique Melendez, the 20-year-old actress has managed to channel Wednesday Addams’ gothic aesthetic in her off-screen style as well. Just take her recent interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, for instance, where Jenna wore a Dolce & Gabbana SS23, a mesh dress with an extended white collar, white cuffs and black satin tie cinched in by a gold corset!
It’s the perfect recipe for a gothcore look done in good taste: the darkness, the heavy metals and not to mention the pairing of $515 black patent leather Aminah Abdul Jillil platform heels! Not a single detail was left out. Get yourself a pair below!
And the Wednesday gothcore vibes didn’t start there! Back in November, for the Netflix premiere of her starring series, Jenna was a Versace bride! She wore look 55 from the SS23 collection, a lace-y number that incorporated something old and something new.

At the Critics Choice Awards, Jenna opted for grungy mesh once again in an asymmetrical YSL dress. It’s the one glove one the sleeved side of the gown for us!

This Thom Browne moment lives rent free in our minds as it incorporates gothic elements but makes a slight nod to legends like Janet Jackson and Missy Elliot who have done the look their own way once before.

Givenchy
2022 will forever be known as the year of the Shark Lock boot. First created by Ricardo Tisci back in 2012, the Shark Lock boot has a pant-over-boot design complete with a gold or silver padlock with the brand’s GG logo.
Since its’ conception, these boots have become an icon of the Givenchy family and in 2022 it has been redesigned using new mediums such as summertime perfect raffia, raunchy leopard print and trending metallics. A two-toned black and white version was even featured in the Disney’s 101 Dalmatians x Givenchy collection that released in July of this year.
Jessica Rich
Jessica Rich first launched her brand online in 2017 with the iconic Fantasy stiletto, a clear PVC pump to wear with any (and all) outfits – a Bombshell’s dream!
With celebrity clientele including Ciara, Normai, JLo and Saweetie to name a few, the brand quickly expanded and introduced satin platforms, mesh sandals and chained T-strap designs. Now, 5 years later, Rich has not only opened her own bricks and mortar store in LA (in 2019) but you can also find her designs in Nordstorm, Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s.
Tom Ford
You can’t talk shoes without mentioning Tom Ford. The epitome of sexy heels, Tom Ford’s Naked sandals have become an essential piece in a Bombshell’s wardrobe. Available in a variety of colors, prints and materials (such as metallics, denim and velvet), the barely-there sandals come complete with a metal heel and matching signature padlock. The simple yet elegant design is the key, adding the right amount of glam to almost any outfit.
Of course, Tom Ford must-haves go way further than just hot sandals. With Boss Lady pumps, chic slingbacks, disco-ready platforms and everyday sneakers, it’s clear why we had to include TF in our nominee’s for Shoe Designer of the Year!

Just one amazing year later and Hanifa’s footwear line features 5 trendy styles including boots, mules and sandals with a mix of metallics, embellishments, luxurious leathers and furs.

I am Jennifer Le
Can Miss Jennifer Le make it a winning hattrick? Winner of the Faby’s Shoe Designer of Year in 2020 and 2021, Jennifer Le is a firm favourite.
In 2022, we have seen more extravagant designs with embellishments, fur and metallics. With an endless list of celebrity fans including Mary J Blige, Remy Ma, Kelly Rowland, Ashanti, Xscape, Karrueche, Latto, Draya to name a few (and that’s those spotted rocking designs THIS year) this Canadian brand that started in 2014 has grown from strength to strength. 2022 was an history making year for the brand with the grand opening their first flagship store in Ontario.
Ice Queen Designs
A first-time Faby’s nominee from Europe is Polish brand Ice Queen Designs. Known for their furry winter-ready creations, the brand certainly lives up to its’ Ice Queen name. Think heeled boots lined with fur, snow boots with sheepskin, stylish flat boots with lace-up, zip or chunky gold chain details.
But it’s not all winter only styles, Ice Queen designs also have furry slides, fun floral summer sandals and party ready heels.
Every week we highlight a stylish member of the Fashion Bomb Men community. Like our Fashion Bombshell of the Week feature, we send a special shout out to the fashion-forward guys who make Fashion Bomb Daily great.
This year, we received tons of submissions from Bombers all over the world. From impressively sleek tailoring to impactful minimalism, the guys have kept us locked in each week.
However, at the end of the year there can only be one style king supreme. Check out of the nominees for 2022’s Fashion Bomber of the Year:
Rolland’s appreciation for designer shades and short shorts is a case in sleek Cali style. He serves every ounce of sex with a heavy helping of elegance.
Bruce Brown’s fearless approach to fashion is what makes him one-to-watch. With a wardrobe full of statement accessories and the skill to texture block, his style is a treat for the eyes.
No color is too brigh, nor pattern too bold, for model and content creator David-King Fadd. His dynamic style is as attention-grabbing as it is saturated.
Jamauhl mixes minimalism with maximalism. Instead of dressing himself in every color or pattern, Jamauhl styles around his statement pieces to create an impactful look.
Pascal Douglas refuses to limit his style and it’s that confidence and passion that feeds it. Versatile like most style icons, Douglas’ looks offer an outstanding range from fine suiting to patchwork dresses.
Mauricio’s refers to his looks as an extension of his mood. Though, no matter how this style king feels, his emotion-driven fashion sense is told through a cultural lens.
Radley Glaude is a man of many hats. Not only because of his several talents but because the essential accessory plays a major role in his style. Whether in a wide-brim fedora or a sporty baseball cap, you’ll find that he’s rarely fully dressed without a hat.
Two years after the allegedly shooting, today marked day one in the court proceedings between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez. Meg took the stand in a Los Angeles courtroom wearing a purple suit from Sergio Hudson‘s Fall 2022 Collection 10. The color choice in itself made a mega statement as purple represents domestic violence awareness.

Styled by Law Roach and tailored by Matthew Reisman, the rapper wore her wide-legged suit with a $10,400 Chanel multi-color rainbow bag and black Christian Louboutin pumps. Her asymmetrical bob was styled by Kollen Deryck with makeup by Alejandra Garcia.
We love an outfit with a positive message behind it! What do you think?
In our everlasting pursuit to bring you the freshest, most unique and luxe brands at an accessible price point without compromising on design and A1 quality, in today’s boutique spotlight we are introducing you bombshells to Chéri the label. This young brand founded in 2020 by Miss Sierra Leone Adama Chérif will become your new obsession as quickly as it became our’s at Fashion Bomb Daily. Discover her catalogue, get to know the brand and the designer behind it all as we dive into her diverse background and stylistic point of view!
Fashion Bomb Daily: Hi Adama! Thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. I read in a blog that even though you are a designer by nature, your start was in finance by trade?
Adama Chérif: I have a strong accounting background and that’s where my love for managing my own business came from. I actually started off modelling since I was 16, I’ve been in a lot of fashion shows at NY and Philly fashion week, and I also have a background in pageantry with Miss Sierra Leone. A lot of those things introduced me to the fashion world and I was introduced to a lot of designers, specifically in the NY area which developed by interest in wanting to pursuit fashion. Every time I’d walk in a show I’d love it, but sometimes I would think to myself “Oh but if they were to do something like this instead, it could be even better!”, so I was like how about I create my own brand with my background in accounting. It was a two in one kind of thing with both of my passions.

FBD: As you know, we’re big fans of your label Chéri! For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
AC: The sole purpose of Chéri is to redefine fashion, redefine style by allowing everyone to express themselves through fashion. And what I mean is I believe everyone should have the freedom to express themselves whether its through fashion or any way, shape or form. For me it’s fashion, that’s how I’m able to walk into a room and be like “Yes, I’m that girl.”
So our brand is focused on body positivity and we don’t conform to any stereotypes. I want everyone, including tall girls, to be comfortable enough to wear anything and not feel like we have to adjust something such as our pants not being long enough. Or for being thicker women, not feeling comfortable in their clothes because of the way it may fit them. I listen to the Chéri Babes, when they comment under something. I’ll see people say “could you go for bigger sizes”, and one of the most important things for me was tall woman, because I’m tall myself. I found it very hard to find pants that fit right or a shirt, with long sleeve that fit too short. And so I was like, you know, I think we need more tall things for people like me, which is where it started. Then I dived into thicker women to expand my horizons a little more. Right now we cater to 5’6 +, leaving enough excess at the bottom to extend the hem, and we’re expanding up to a size XXL.
FBD: What are some of your design influences and inspirations?
AC: I create some of my designs and I wholesale some. If I can’t find it in the wholesale world, I’ll make it myself! I have a thing for monochromatic colors, that’s how I came up with the Viola Set.
FBD: Tell us about the ‘Rabi’ collection and what this line of accessories signifies to you.
AC: My mission with that was to promote racial equality, that’s how I started with the black, white and brown. My circle is very diverse, yet I’ve been in situations as a young professional where I was the one who got picked at, so the influence behind ‘Rabi’ was to celebrate those differences and not have to feel like we’re an outcast in those situations. I want my brand to also have a statement and purpose behind it. We launched ‘Rabi’ earlier this year launch, and the name comes from my middle name. Rabi was the one name I was made fun of some reason! So, I was like okay, since you think it’s funny, I’ll make this the name for what I create!
FBD: How has fashion changed in your point of view since you started Chéri?
AC: Fashion is very fast. Things can go in and out of style in a minute which is why I’m kind of diving into making timeless fashion so you can wear it years from now. With things opening back up since launching in 2020, I am also planning on diving into more statement pieces, things people can wear to events.
FBD: Where do you see Chéri in 5 to 10 years from now?
AC: In the next couple years, I’d like to get more pop-up shops out there and 5 years from now, I’d consider doing a major fashion show. With my experience in the international pageantry world, I want to also put more emphasis there with the pageant girls too! I definitely see Chéri being a more international brand down the line!
Here are some of our absolute favorite pieces, available exclusively at Chéri!
