Happy Friday!
Last night I was invited by the kind folks at Versace to dine at their Soho store and take a look at their sneaker collection:

Sneakers are a new territory for the Italian house, so they gathered bloggers and editors together to talk about design and what we’d like to see on the ideal ‘Versace’ shoe.

The consensus was that people wanted a range of options: from the super flashy with a 3D Medusa head to something more subtle. I also thought it would be cool if they issued a Barocco print canvas sneaker, with a subtle Medusa head on the back sole.

Of course for a Versace event, I had to wear Versace! I unearthed a Vintage Barocco Blouse.
And because the shirt did enough on its own, I kept the rest of my look simple with All Saints Leather Pants and black pumps.
I was more than excited to be included in Versace’s latest effort. Can’t wait to see what sorts of goodies come down the pike in the forthcoming seasons.
See any sneakers you like?
