Vuitton Says: What to Wear

Consider this as “Part II”  of  last week’s post on ridiculous fashion trends.  This time, I’m here to steer you in the right direction.

First up: Jeans

If you’re going to get jeans with embroidery on the back pockets, less is more.  A simple design with ONE subtle color makes them perfect for dressing them up or down.

Let’s talk patterns…

Ditch that bedazzled, skull-n-roses foolery for some chic patterns that are sure to get you noticed.  Go with the two P’s:  Plaid and Paisley

Who would’ve thought that paisley would make such a huge comeback?  This hot Forever 21 top can definitely attest to that.  And it looks like plaid is here to stay a little while longer…not that we’re complaining though.  But for the season, stick to light colored plaid shirts.  Check out the one above, here.

Next up is scarves for men…the right way.

This Tootal Exclusive scarf is nothing too fancy, and it doesn’t look like a cape worn backwards.  It’s also pretty lightweight, both on the neck and the wallet.  Perfect for a windy spring day!

Shoes:

Will Smith is usually on his P’s and Q’s when it comes to his dress shoes, so fellas should take notes!   A slightly pointed toe will get you everywhere flattery won’t.

…You can stunt in these Ben Sherman Tabloid loafers for about $125.

Bomb Chick Rih Rih gets the shoe game right with her Louboutins…

But who said that being chic had to come with a three-figure price tag?  Get the look with these shoes from Bakers for $60.

Nothing gaudy about these shoes, and a classic black pump should be a staple in any woman’s closet.

And although those sweatpants and Uggs maybe be comfortable when you head to class from rolling straight out of bed, in the afternoon it’s just not cute anymore.  Upgrade to some flat boots and denim with these options.

PS: Moccasins>Uggs anyday.

So, what’s your verdict?
