Fashion Bomb Couple Alert: Common Wears a Polka Dot Marni Sweatshirt Courtside with Jennifer Hudson

Should we call it a “Chi Town” love affair?

There’s a new Fashion Bomb couple on scene, and based on how cozy EGOT winner, Jennifer Hudson and Common looked at the Chicago Bulls Basketball game last Saturday, they just may be our new favorite couple.

Although there has been speculations that the duo have been a pair since early last year, the syndicated talk show host confirmed on CBS Mornings with Gayle King that she was happily involved and seeing someone back in November.

Common solidified the statement over the weekend by sitting intimately next to Hudson in the front row. He represented for fashion bomb men everywhere in his Marni polkadot hoodie.

His hoodie which currently retails for $597, was apart of the brand’s AW 23 ‘Anti Futility’ collection and designed by Marni’s Creative Director, Francesco Risso. We saw numerous celebrities in Marni’s polka-dot themed ensembles last year including Usher, Gabrielle Union, and Quavo.

.

Zealously smiling next to her beau, Hudson looked winter ready in a black Moncler coat that she layered over a turtle neck, with coated leggings. Matching the fur trim of her coat, she sported furry lace-up boots that looked comfy chic.

We absolutely love the blissful state that these love birds are in, and you’ll be excited to know that they both star in a movie called “Breathe,” expected to debut later this year.

Stay tune because this Fashion Bomb couple will definitely be on our style watch!

Fashion Designer Wayne Cooper Charged With Domestic Violence

Fashion designer Wayne Cooper was charged with domestic violence today after allegedly pushing ex-wife Sarah Marsh. At court today, 45-year-old Cooper was given a two-year good behaviour bond while stalking and intimidation charges were dismissed.

Fashion designer Wayne Cooper was charged with domestic violence today after allegedly pushing ex-wife Sarah Marsh. At court today, 45-year-old Cooper was given a two-year good behaviour bond while stalking and intimidation charges were dismissed.

Recordings played before the court showed an exchange filled with expletives between Ms Marsh and her former partner, during which Ms Marsh claims she suffered bruises from their fight.

Charges

Charges Domestic violence (DV) refers tо any pattern оf abusive behaviors directed at one partner within an intimate partner relationship, including physical, sexual and emotional abuse as well as economic, psychological and/or social manipulation. Domestic violence may occur across age ranges, races, genders and religions and can even involve perpetrators from all оf these categories.

Fashion designer Wayne Cooper іs facing charges for domestic violence after allegedly assaulting Sarah Marsh during an argument at their Tamarama home іn Sydney’s eastern suburbs. He will appear before Waverley Local Court later today charged with common assault and breaching an apprehended violence order.

Mr Cooper rose tо fame during the 90s through his fashion labels Brave and Wayne Cooper which sold at boutiques and Myer department stores. Additionally, his collections were showcased at Australian Fashion Week, as well as оn reality show Australia’s Next Top Model. Mr Cooper applied tо have both his name and that оf his family suppressed. The charges against Mr. Cooper include domestic violence offenses, specifically common assault and breach оf an AVO. These charges are serious and can carry significant penalties іf convicted. It’s important tо note that domestic violence іs never acceptable and that those who commit such acts must face the legal consequences.

Bail

Fashion designer Wayne Cooper will appear at Waverley Local Court in Sydney’s east next Tuesday and be judged for domestic violence-related assault against Sarah Marsh, his estranged wife. A judge will then make their ruling regarding bail release or not.

Two-time reality TV star claims that Cooper pushed her during an emotional outburst shortly after she underwent gall bladder cancer surgery last June, leading them into legal battle over their Tamarama home.

Former model Stephanie Cooper testified that he caused bruises and scratches following an incident during which he threw his clothes into a pool while taking advantage of doing laundry and grabbed him by both arms to push her against a glass door, according to testimony presented at a hearing on November 21, 2014.

At Friday’s court appearance, a judge will make their determination regarding bail for fashion designer Yohan Khayal. Each bond process varies based on the severity of charges brought against a defendant and may include factors like danger to society, flight risk or any history of violence that should be taken into consideration by them.

Appearance in court

Designer Wayne Cooper pleaded not guilty today in Waverley Local Court to charges of assault causing actual physical harm, common assault and intimidation. Through his lawyer he attempted to have his name suppressed from court records.

Cooper is expected to go on trial within months. A former model himself, Cooper gained prominence during the 90s with fashion labels Brave and Wayne Cooper sold at two boutiques and Myer department stores. Additionally, he hosted Australian Fashion Week shows featuring Linda Evangelista, Alek Wek and Eva Herzigova and was featured in cycles three, four, five of Australia’s Next Top Model.

Under police bail conditions, he cannot return to his Tamarama residence without being accompanied by police and can only contact Sarah Marsh through legal representatives of both parties. An interim apprehended violence order has also been issued against him.

Defence

Fashion designer Christopher Reis will learn today whether a magistrate will permit him to return home without police escort and contact estranged partner Sarah Marsh or their children other than through legal representatives as part of his bail conditions.

Cooper is one of Australia’s premier designers. His BRAVE and WAYNE labels can be found at boutiques and Myer department stores nationwide, while he appeared on cycles three, four and five of reality show Australia’s Next Top Model on television.

Ian McClintock, his client’s attorney, informed the court of Marsh’s admission to having hostile intent from both sides and an assault, occurring just days after undergoing cancer surgery. After receiving this information from both sides, two-year good behaviour bond and apprehended domestic violence order orders were issued against Marsh; his appearance before Waverley Local Court will take place Friday.

Rihanna Posed with Kyle Richards and Family in a $4,500 Cream YSL Blazer, a $3,500 Grey Bottega Cashmere Hoodie, $855 Light Washed Balenciaga Jeans, and $575 Blue Suede Kemo Sabe Boots

Over the holiday weekend, Rihanna ran into Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards and family at hot spot Kemo Sabe in Aspen, Colorado.

The Barbados princess looked urban chic and on trend in her western attire as she strutted inside the retail store with beau A$AP Rocky, and both of their sons.

Rocking a $4,500 cream off white Fall ’23 YSL blazer, Rihanna took us back to the 80’s with an oversized silhouette. Made from wool with silk lining, her blazer was perhaps the perfect transitional piece to take from day to night during the winter season.

Layering her Saint Laurent blazer over a $3,500 grey cashmere-blend Bottega Veneta hoodie, RiRi oped for a full westernized look with light washed Balenciaga distressed jeans that had frayed edges.

Understanding the language and vision of fashion, Rihanna knew exactly what boots to wear. Matching Kyle’s aesthetic, she paired her luxurious outfit with Kemo Sabe accessories including $575 blue suede cowgirl boots that would make anyone say, “Howdy.”

Rihanna’s glam and beat was up to par per usual, and as she’s known for experimenting with new hairstyles, she gave long ombre cornrows straight to the back a try.

It was great to see Rihanna and Kyle enjoying each other’s company, especially considering that Rihanna’s a fan of the Housewives franchise. We also love how RiRi is out & about, and traveling with her family post her pregnancy. What a great way to ring in the New Year!

How Gold Teeth Became a Fashion Statement

Fashion trends often linger and change over time; gold teeth have long been used as status symbols that communicate wealth by simply smiling.

Fashion trends often linger and change over time; gold teeth have long been used as status symbols that communicate wealth by simply smiling.

But what drove the popularity of gold grillz? In this blog post we’ll examine its rise and why this trend remains relevant today.

Origins

Gold jewelry, especially the type seen on Kendal Jenner and Black partygoers in pre-gentrified Brooklyn, has seen its time in pop culture. But embellishing one’s teeth with golden inlays or full-on grills has a long and rich history–it isn’t exclusive to rappers!

People have been altering their teeth with gold for millennia – this practice, commonly referred to as “gold work,” was common practice across many parts of the globe.

West Indian immigrants first settled in New York City during the 1970s, bringing with them golden tooth caps known as “gold fronts.” By the early 1980s, street vendors like Eddie Plein and Johnny Dang began adapting dental crowns for multiple teeth at once to form what we now refer to as gold grills or sets of gold teeth – becoming popular among rappers who wore them as an expression of street cred and hood pride.

Symbolism

Gold teeth (commonly referred to as grillz) have long been seen as a symbol of wealth and status. People have used precious metal to replace worn out or damaged teeth with the precious metal, with Caribbean immigrants opting for this approach over more conventional dental procedures.

Over time, gold teeth have seen their popularity fluctuate. Now more than ever before, they serve more as fashion statements and can often be found adorning rappers, celebrities, and influencers’ mouths.

Gold teeth may seem like an easy fashion trend to embrace, but their significance goes deeper. Wearing gold teeth serves as an incredible statement about rebellion against social inequality; reminding both themselves and those around them that their success came through hard work in spite of economic hardship – an invaluable reminder in an age marked by mass inequality and division.

Hip-Hop Culture

Hip hop emerged at society’s peripheries and its artists pushed the limits of artistic expression to their fullest. Graffiti writing became one of these frontiers; using blank walls and subway tunnels as canvases to bring them alive with life in terms of complexity, color and texture.

MCs (or emcees), also known as master storytellers (storytellers), weave complex tales in rhythm and rhyme that translate seamlessly to literary forms such as poetry, short stories, novels, scripts or even comic book-style graphic novels. Many of their works depict urban reality while offering social commentary.

Gold teeth have long been part of Black creativity, signalling its unbridled expression whether in words or visual art. Wearing one signifies one is hip and stands out from the crowd; gold grins speak the language of wealth which has caught on among fashion industry insiders.

Conclusions

Gold teeth (or grillz) have become a fashion trend in some cultures. Rappers and celebrities often sport these flashy adornments as a symbol of wealth; however, they may also serve as an expressive statement. Unfortunately, getting gold dental grillz can be risky and costly; instead it might be better to visit a dentist to get porcelain restorations instead.

Though dental grills make for fashionable statement pieces, porcelain crowns are far superior when it comes to tooth restoration. Dental professionals recommend porcelain because its durability and natural appearance make it less likely to lead to decay and other oral health problems.

Gold teeth may cause health complications if you’re allergic, so before getting one implanted or filled it is wise to undergo an allergy skin test. For further inquiries contact Vaughan family dental services for more details.

Beyoncé & Blue Ivy in Telfar (Renaissance Tour)

The Renaissance World Tour was a spectacle of music and fashion. The best part was seeing Princess B(lue Ivy) light up the stage in style alongside her mother. Although theres a number of looks to love from the tour, this red on red Telfar moment was the moment.

Cardi B in Guarav Gupta (Grammys)

It’s always exciting to see Cardi B on the red carpet. This year, she began with a bang in an extravagant hood and gorgeous jewel tone.

She delivered drama, body and couture.

Megan Thee Stallion in Custom Bach Mai (Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty)

Her first red carpet following the State vs Tory Lanez case, and Megan was guilty of serving. The H-Town hottie rocked big hair for her big moment which perfectly accented her standout custom gown outfitted with a peek-a-boo neckline and gorgeous black fabric.

Doja Cat in Schiaparelli (Schiaparelli SS23 Couture Show)

30,000 ruby red Swarovski crystals later and we had Doja’s Inferno. One of the most talked about looks from Paris Couture Week, Doja Cat, in team with stylist Brett Nelson, brought the most eye-catching look to the front row.

Chloë Bailey in DiPetsa (GQ Man of the Year awards)

For the GQ’s Man of the Year Awards, Chloë Bailey showed what that body do in a second skin-like liquid gown. DiPetsa is known for the wet look and Chloë kept that etho in mind when she accessorized with clear bauble bracelets and earrings.

Rihanna in Alaïa (Academy Awards)

It’s hard to pick just one maternity look as our all-time Rihanna fav, but if we had to, her Academy Awards Alaïa is a top contender. A growing baby bump didn’t stop the legendary bad gal from rocking leather, sheer, stilettos, or midriff during her nine months of baking, but this edgy yet elegant look is not only a noteworthy RiRi look but one of the best maternity looks we’ve seen from anyone this year.

Keke Palmer in Sergio Hudson (Met Gala)

Her first major appearance post the birth of baby Leodis, Keke brought 70s-style glam to the Met steps. Her body-hugging corset gown was a show on its own, but with a dramatic pale blue shawl –complete with a train, of course– and teased tresses, Keke was the epitome of vintage American glamor.

Halle Bailey in Valdrin Sahiti (Little Mermaid World Premiere)

When Halle pulled up the Little Mermaid premiere in a reflective blue Valdrin Sahiti gown, we desperately wanted to be apart of her world. Statement dresses such as this don’t need much styling, so she kept her auburn dreadlocks behind her shoulders and opted for gorgeous crystal earrings and metallic blue on the eyes.

Tems in Lever Couture (Academy Awards)

After the 95th Academy Awards, Tems went viral for her cloud-like ensemble. Her dress might have been a distraction, but when the doll looks this good, why would you want to look anywhere else?

Michelle Williams in Coral Costillo (Instagram)

We couldn’t help but fall dangerously in love when Michelle Williams debuted this stunning cobalt look on the Gram. Her bone-straight hair with the maxi fringe on the dress draws the eye up and down, allowing us to take in every inch of this fashionable ‘fit. Although she may have given her best in blue, this look had us feeling red hot!

Kim Kardashian in Schiaparelli (Met Gala)

North West may have given this look a thumbs down, but Kim’s pearly Schiaparelli was a red carpet highlight. Thousands of pearls draped her body from her neck to her feet, and the soft white popped on her tan skin. Love it or hate it, Kim continues to be a figure in fashion.
