This year’s annual LACMA Art + Film Gala, held by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in partnership with Gucci, was the 11th of its kind. The Hollywood event attracted stars across music, film and television, with fashions beyond what we could even expect to see. Here are the top 10 most eye-catching looks from the night:

1. Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford in Gucci

Red carpet debut as a couple snuggled close in a Gucci blanket and coordinated silk pjs, sleep mask, socks and all.

2. Kim Kardashian wore Balenciaga

Styled by Marni Senofonte, Kendall’s silver skirt and black mesh gown by Turkish French designer Burc Akyol was no easy fit to pull off, however the supermodel wore the dress instead of letting it wear her!

In a shimmering floor-length gown with a green to coral gradient and matching gloves, Salma Hayek looked gorgeous beyond measure. The look was styled by Annabelle Harron with hair by Jennifer Yepez and beauty by Ivan Pol.

Migos Rapper Takeoff Shot to Death in Houston at 28

Son, brother, friend and rapper, Takeoff, has passed on at the age of 28.

Early this morning, Fox 26 reporter Shelby Rose reported that Houston PD was investigating a homicide at GreenStreet downtown. Victims were not yet ID’d, but there was confirmation that Migos rappers Takeoff Quavo were in the vicinity.

Not long after, TMZ reported Takeoff’s passing in the same area. An altercation over a dice game led to the shooting, according to TMZ. Two other individuals also fell victim to the shooting and were taken in private vehicles to the hospital.

Takeoff climbed the ladder of musical success alongside his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset. The trio made up the iconic rap group the Migos, who released four studio albums and twelve mixtapes before disbanding earlier this year. With Offset going solo, Quavo and Takeoff teamed up for a new hip-hop group titled Unc & Phew. The duo’s first album Only Built for Infinity Links released early last month and their latest visual –a music video for their track Messy– made its world debut just yesterday.

Johnny Depp to Guest Star at Rihanna’s Incoming Fenty x Savage Show

Despite the storm of a trial detailing the abuse in his last marriage, Johnny Depp shows no signs of slowing down. The 59-year-old actor still picks up roles in popular fantasy franchises and even landed a gig as the Moon Person at the VMAs. His most recent gig, however, includes a pretty famous fashion show and Rihanna.

In 2018, Rihanna launched her infamous lingerie line Fenty x Savage. She rocked New York Fashion Week with models of the moment —like Duckie Thot and Bella Hadid— dressed in delicate lace, BDSM-inspired bodysuits, pasties, and other sultry ensembles. A pregnant Slick Woods even strutted down the runway with her baby bump clad in cutouts and black lace. Since its launch, the Fenty x Savage show has become an event you don’t want to miss. Each year is more outstanding than the last and has grown to include celebrity guests alongside veteran runway walkers.

While stars like Erykah Badu and Normani are just a couple of the A-listers that have gotten the guest spot, this year’s guest is the first, and most controversial, for Fenty.

For the first time in Fenty x Savage history, the guest role is filled by a man and that man is none other than Johnny Christopher Depp.

According to TMZ, Rihanna and her team invited Depp and both parties are said to be very excited. It’s also reported that Depp’s part in the show has already been filmed so if you’re hoping for some kind of super belated April Fool’s prank, unfortunately, you won’t find one here.

Twitter, of course, hasn’t taken too kindly to the news, with fans questioning and disapproving of this year’s guest.

While some argue that Depp’s spot in the show is fair, he’s a victim too after all.

Fenty x Savage Vol 4. is set to premiere on Amazon Prime November 9.
