After deplaning in a Preen by Thorton Bregazzi number, First Lady Michelle Obama took in her second day in the UK wearing a paisley printed Pre-Fall 2015 Mary Katrantzou dress. For the day’s line-up of events she had a visit to the Mulberry School for Girls and had tea with Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife.
The capped shoulders and full skirt accentuate her body beautifully. And of course, she does love a good dangling earring!
As we’ve seen with other Katrantzou numbers, when it was originally shown, the look came with a high neck. Since it’s not on sale yet, we don’t know if the removal of the neck and addition of sleeves were customizations at the request of FLOTUS or just the commercial interpretation but she looks gorgeous either way.
We are in love with the look! Personally, I’ve always been a fan of a well used dark floral.
