Hernandez always had a desire to know the country of his roots and the land his parents had left so long ago. As one might imagine, the trip aroused a wealth of emotions, the most moving of them being the imagination and vision for their Resort assortment.
The duo avoided all artifice and posturing and went straight for functionality. Clever and eye-catching detailing was on high including crisscross straps, tweed fringe, oversized buttons, and more.
Ruffles are a cornerstone of traditional Cuban garb and those were present on cap-sleeve dresses with handkerchief hems, frocks with plunging necklines, and a high-neck crop top and high-waist skirt combination.
Pops of color came through with tropical prints on slit-accented frocks and the brand’s signature Lunch Bag clutch.
Hernandez and McCullough pulled the edgy grommet detailing from their Fall collection into this assortment, covering red carpet-ready frocks, a zip-front jacket and ruffle skirt pairing, a knee-length coat, and leather shoulder bag in the embellishment.
