Happy Saturday!
On day 2 of the #EssenceFest, I hit up the Convention Center to check out the Covergirl and My Black is Beautiful booths.
Makeup maestro Ebony Star was kind enough to do my makeup for the day at the Covergirl booth, and crafted an Easy, Breezy look using Covergirl Queen Collection All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation on my face and the Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadow in Prima Donna 278 on my lids. She finished off my lips with a fabulously glittery red Colorlicious Gloss 680 in Sweet Strawberry.
On my way out of the booth, I ran into Trina and Towanda Braxton, who looked gorgeous in green.
Yes, it’s hot in Nola, but it’s cold inside, so I went with a blue and white theme for the 4th in a 3.1 Phillip Lim Embellished top, J Brand jeans, Saint Laurent pumps, and an Aqua blazer.
I stashed my lip gloss and other essentials in a Chanel Boy Bag from A Second Chance Resale.
I then headed over the House of Blues for a day party, hosted by Legendary Damon and DJ’ed by Solange Knowles.
I ran into so many friends, including Elle Varner, Luke James, Designer Ron Bass, Chef Roblé, Blogger Karen Civil, and so much more. I eventually lost the blazer;)
On my way out, I said hey to model Keenyah Hill and Derek J from Bravo’s Fashion Queens.
Then it was time to come home, upload some Street Style, and prepare for the Prince Concert!
Keep an eye peeled for that recap on TheBombLife.com. I’ve been slacking on updating that, but it’s a busy weekend!
Hope you’re enjoying yours as well;)
*Also, shout out to the Fashion Bomb readers who have come up and said hi!

Always so nice to meet you! Come say hi if you see me out again today. XO
**I’ve been way too hot the past two days. No more heels and no more jackets!
