A round of applause to the extraordinary, ultra fabulous, and multifaceted Cardi B, who has left her incredible mark at Paris Fashion Week in a multitude of haute couture looks that were impressive, and unprecedented.

We can’t help but tip our hats off to the Bronx native who has become a modern day Cinderella. Perhaps her journey is the epitome of a “rags to riches” story, inspiring so many woman across the globe of what’s possible when you believe in yourself.

The “Outside” rapper has become known for setting Paris Fashion Week ablaze, and this year was no exception, with her turning it up a notch. From blossoming in a deep red Rahul Mishra couture gown that was characterized with roses sculpted from behind, to serving architectural realness in a black and white Stephane Rolland gown that was unlike anything we’ve seen before, Cardi is in her prime.

Not to mention her cream Ashi Studio lace dress that was dreamy and ethereal, and her black Schiaparelli tassel gown that was unequivocally one of the best avant-garde looks we’ve seen to date.

Cardi B has proven that she is next level, and her team including her longtime stylist Kollin Carter has done such a remarkable job at transforming her into a fashion Icon.

If you think about Cardi B’s Love & Hip Hop days, to where she is now, and how her style has progressed over the years, we’re almost certain she has become her wildest fantasy.

After just celebrating Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos wedding in Italy last month, Usher and his boo Jennifer Goicoechea have been spotted shopping in Portofino.

Usher looked classical and refined in a navy knitted top that he paired with white trousers, and designer sneakers. Jennifer kept things casual with a wife beater tank that she styled with light blue denim jeans that were embellished with rhinestones and cutouts. Her sandals featured a colorful abstract print, and her wrist was dripping in Cartier.

While Goicoechea kept her accessories to a minimum, Usher on the other hand was captured carrying a Toilet and Barenia leather Hermès bag. In recent times, we begin to see more men celebrities donning “murses” (the men version of purses) including Pharell Williams, Colman Domingo and Lebron James.

In fact, similarly to Usher, Lebron James was also photographed carrying the exact same Hermes handbag in orange togo leather with gold hardware. Contrary to Ushers comfortability, Lebron who is know for his strong muscular physique on the court, looked a tad bit self conscious holding his murse. He still however was smiling, reminding us of the importance of “faking it till you make it.”

As fashion becomes more gender-neutral, we will start to see more unisex accessories and clothing on the runways. In the next few decades, who’s to say that we’ll even have a men’s and women’s department. The times are changing, and the evolution of fashion and style isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

It was a full-circle moment that reminded me why that show still resonates: it’s smart, funny, and ahead of its time.

“She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she is the moment”

HOW YOU DOING? Because by the looks of it, Wendy Williams is doing perfectly fine, and she’s beginning to look like her old self again.

If you’ve been following the legendary talk host in recent months, then you know she’s been battling her court-ordered guardianship with Sabrina Morrissey, who manages her well being and finances. Williams has expressed her lack of autonomy to do as she pleases, which has ensued a “Free Wendy” movement with her fans protesting on behalf of her freedom.

As someone who has been described as “incapacitated,” she sure doesn’t look like it, and the media personality was recently captured all smiles with her entourage in New York City.

Wendy kept things sporty chic in a cream printed bomber jacket, with black silk shorts that she layered over fishnet stockings, designed by Mel Maxi. Quintessential of New York’s fashion, she donned a black Yankee’s ball cap, and sported black studded sneakers by Christian Louboutin. In true Wendy fashion, she looked ultra stylish with her black crocodile $80,000 Hermes handbag that delightfully hung off her arm.

Of course fans were happy to see her out and about, and on the go, without her niece Alex Fannie coming to her rescue. On our Fashion Bomb daily Instagram page, @Prettyliilbyrdie shared, “I need her back on her show and speaking on Hot Topics neeoooooow!” while @yup_itsbri commented. “The way they said this lady was on her last leg. They really lied. She looks and sounds good.”

We hope that seeing Wendy in such a great state, is an indicator of what’s to come. We’d love to see her back on the radio or on television and in her element, and if not on those channels, perhaps even Youtube. One thing for sure is that she hasn’t loss her fan base, and if anything, her setback has been a catalyst for more people to rally behind her.
