Though Fashion Nova is known for their curve hugging jeans, they also carry cute separates that are perfect for the casual slay. In addition to being comfortable, they are also affordable. See how the following Nova Babes rocked it right:
She sang her way into our hearts during the early nineties with a smooth R&B sound and has been killing the charts ever since. Singer, Monica, has always had the chops to make it in the music industry, and after more than twenty years in, her style has kept up. An aficionado of all things trendy, she has mastered rocking trend pieces without a look becoming too gimmicky, even with hair colors that seem to change (and work) with every outfit.
When Monica first came onto the music scene, her style was incredibly 90’s. From athletic streetwear in bold colors to embroidered jeans and tops with mesh insets, much of what she wore then is what girls seem to run to stores to buy now. A trendsetter ahead of her time? I think so.
As the years went by, Monica experimented with different textures and patterns. Spikes and studs on leather jackets, thigh high snakeskin boots, and color-blocked pieces spoke to how much Monica kept up with trends at the time, and nailed it.
Oh, and red carpets? Monica’s got that handled. From jacquard gowns glittered in gold, to sleek, sculptured, and black, to luxurious in lace, she’s not afraid to experiment with different styles and silhouettes.
The slay hasn’t stopped since it started with Monica. A fan of Balmain for something sexy yet sophisticated and Alexander McQueen for a daring, yet elegant look, her wardrobe must look like a luxury department boutique.
Even her casual style hits the mark. Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers, jeans, printed separates, and a sturdy designer purse usually complete her laid back looks.
She’s currently on tour with Xscape, singing her hits and delivering looks and amazing hair. Over twenty years in the business and just like her voice, her style has stood the test of time. And thanks to Ade Samuel at the helm of her wardrobe’s direction, she’s definitely going to appear on a few best dressed lists.
Here’s to a woman who has remained an inspiration to many, not only through her faith, her music, and her evident love for her family, but also through her style.

This is the stuff internet dreams are made of! After taking a beautiful photo during Howard Homecoming, 19-year-old Anok Yai became an internet sensation, catching the eyes of several model scouts.
On Tuesday, the Plymouth State University student signed with Next Models. Next Model President Kyle Hagler effused on Instagram, “From @instagram #sensation to the world of global top modeling, @nextmodels is pleased to announce that we now represent @anokyai globally!”
Every time I see a picture of Michelle Obama, I feel a wave of nostalgia. Our former fabulous First Lady seems to just be getting better with time, and more beautiful and stylish by the day.
She appeared alongside former President Barack Obama at their Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago wearing a mixed plaid dress from Pre’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection.
The dress had a more artful feel for the presentation. She wore a pared down version with Prada shoes and Jennifer Fisher Jewelry.
Want the look for less? Thankfully there are many mixed plaid dresses on the market. Indulge below:
She’s hot!
I love this trend. I’ll be partaking!
What do you think?
Today’s Bombshell is from New Jersey, who currently resides in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia area).
She writes, “When looking for something to wear, I reflect my mood or how I’m feeling. I would describe my style as vibrantly moody with a strong personality — like my persona (LOL).
“One element I can say that does not seem to be moody are my earrings and accessories.
“With no hair to worry about, I like to put an extensive amount of effort into my bold accessories, particularly earrings, since they are my favorite accessory.”
